  1. if you want top notch FUE surgeon (for under 10k) you'll have to travel OS
  2. wow i'll against the grain here and say, mate you dont need a hair transplant, or at most 800 but really why bother - unless im looking at the wrong images
  3. looks like you had about 1800 grafts, probably should have gone for 2500
  4. most doctors and guys here will so 22 is too young, however depends on what method of transplant you are looking at and depends on what your expectations are for the future. If you're just wanted to get the most out of youthful years with hair and don't really care what happens at around the age of 30 i say go for FUE,
  5. did someone say RWC, being a massive Wallabies fan LondonHT im sure being booted out so early hurts a little...
  6. Result of the year award goes to David!!! grinning all the way to the top
  7. just fly to India and save yourself around $5000 or more
  8. You dont have to grow your hair with FUE to cover the scarring, you can have your hair #0 #1 with FUE and barely see scarring, if any. Is it scar less? to the untrained eye YES ITS SCAR LESS!! Is it scar less to Dr Feller? HELL NO!! Is it scar less to me? YES ITS SCAR LESS! What are the chances that a member of society is going to examine the back of your head take notes and post on some hair transplant forum, its zero, so the shaving down, short hair, buzz cut weighs heavily in the decision making in hair restoration, The 1000s of white dots argument is completely blown out of proportion by FUT supporters to again drag the method down, I don't know how many times ive shaved to #0 to blend #3 in the past 2 years and believe me when I say my paranoid self conscious needs to always get the mirror out and look at the back of head to see if it looks SHIT or not, but guess what never does it , it looks perfectly natural especially to the untrained eye.
  9. yeah mate I agree this is getting old..... but for me FUE was the only choice, because I have always had my hair really short on the sides, so it has nothing to do with yield or buzz'in down
  10. i think i can speak for all FUE patients when I say, none of us want to shave down, we've spent the money we all want hair and the worse case scenario is to buzz cut and be done with it. you can't do that with FUT you can do it with FUE. of course you can hunt down cases of poor FUE results and argue thats impossible to buzz cut cause you see 1000s of dots, well actually you don't see 1000s, you may see a few 100 in some of the really bad examples but overall the scarring to the untrained eye is barely noticeable. I shaved down to #0 blend to #3 blend and wanted to see how bad the scarring was, the back of my head i counted about 9 noticeable white dots, 9 from 4000,
  11. no that does not always happen, i regularly shaved down 0-1-2-3 blade, to the trained eye you can see maybe 10 white dots (maybe) to the untrained eye you cannot tell ive had a HT
  12. Blake baiting us all again.... we all know he's smirking away at his desk right now
  13. i think the guys would love to update this site, but these things do take time and money, they'd proably all agree it looks dated but web design is a constant evolving thing
  14. Im booked in for HT in October as well, yes the butterflies are beginning to make an appearance in my stomach. Im so looking forward to getting home after the HT, taking 3 weeks away from the office, aint looking forward to op....
  15. Pinkness lasted over 6 weeks for me, and my skin wasn't smooth, this just is all part of the healing process, Honestly I had no idea you were only 5weeks post op, from reading alot of your posts I thought you were 2 years at least, your symptoms you've written about all seem pretty normal, on the positive side, you mention that your density is not good, you may be one of the lucky ones who dont shed and have implanted hair grow sooner, I am guessing you were just unaware of some of the basic chain of events post op to look forward to. You have mentioned before that you rushed into it, that saying, I don't think you've made a mistake, just need to realise that HT is major cosmetic surgery and with all elective surgery the best results are often a year or more away, 5 weeks in, you need to calm down and enjoy your life.
  16. a lot guys who post images of themselves day 15 post FUE, shows a good example of what buzzing down could look like at blade #1, most of these photos I think makes all the guys look pretty good, certainly miles better compared to a guy forced to buzz down cause his going bald, the difference being the FUE buzz will show a lower hair line to a non HT looking buzz cut,
