    not long at all it was around 2-3 months or so I new we I wanted to go so planned ahead.. I am 14 months now, things are good.. hair looks great will post a few photos at 12 months

    I did not meet with UK doctors or consider it, I think on this forum there is a general knowledge that certain UK based clinics are expensive and there work not so known , so I was priced out , plus I did not think I would get any better Job in the UK than from other countries all the hair Dr's on forums that were getting recognition we outside the UK, and there was a good price range.. it might be different now, but I dont think it is ,

    Hi I understand that he is not a recommendation but there were people posting a few things. I went outside just one forum like this and found some great examples, called them after looking at their website, and got some references. I got all the questions answered but I did not have many just some sensible ones. Surgeon cut the slits did the ground work I would never expect 11 hours surgery with one person its a team effort, he has excellent techs hence why their results are good. I appreciate recommendations on here have been good and accurate I hope Dr Civas gets one at some point, it makes for a better forum having new entries and more reliable choices.. thanks for your reply

    Hi everyone how time fly's 7 months now and the latest pictures,.. bit more of a change proceeding nicely I think people have told me something is different but have not clicked that I have had my hair done they say your hair is thicker..lol but who can remember 7 months ago if they had a now and then picture they would be amazed..

    HI apologies for such a late reply, I wanted FUE but you can choose and discuss anything, I new what I wanted I did not have many questions as I did a bit of research, I really wanted a surgeon that was qualified , had experience in different countries and I always think if you are prepared to attend conferences and speak you cannot hide.. I really liked my small clinic..it was right for me and the results are looking good so far.

    Thanks very much, very kind..he is a good Dr , but also I think no so well known by people on this forum , always think its good to have new people cominng through with good results makes it a better forum and discussion area rather then everyone recommending the same people..but there are some great Dr's to choose from now..their results are consistent.

    Hi Yiddo, they have a good team and Dr Ekrem Civas I think is a really skilled Hair Restoration Doctor, results and experience I am very happy with. It does include hotel and transfers. Its a nice place and in a very safe area with Embassies , I really enjoyed the experience and enjoy watching the hair improve each month..I am Nearly 7 months now..another 5 months to go and may be a few more to see the final results..

    Thanks very much, yes, was good to look smart on the appearance front, I never really had issues with thinning hair , I just like having hair.. and being presentable ..for me I really used a different doctor one who I did my own research on from different resources and turned out I was spot on with that research, price and the outcome so far is v.good.. :rolleyes:
