    not long at all it was around 2-3 months or so I new we I wanted to go so planned ahead.. I am 14 months now, things are good.. hair looks great will post a few photos at 12 months

    I did not meet with UK doctors or consider it, I think on this forum there is a general knowledge that certain UK based clinics are expensive and there work not so known , so I was priced out , plus I did not think I would get any better Job in the UK than from other countries all the hair Dr's on forums that were getting recognition we outside the UK, and there was a good price range.. it might be different now, but I dont think it is ,

    Hi I understand that he is not a recommendation but there were people posting a few things. I went outside just one forum like this and found some great examples, called them after looking at their website, and got some references. I got all the questions answered but I did not have many just some sensible ones. Surgeon cut the slits did the ground work I would never expect 11 hours surgery with one person its a team effort, he has excellent techs hence why their results are good. I appreciate recommendations on here have been good and accurate I hope Dr Civas gets one at some point, it makes for a better forum having new entries and more reliable choices.. thanks for your reply

    Hi everyone how time fly's 7 months now and the latest pictures,.. bit more of a change proceeding nicely I think people have told me something is different but have not clicked that I have had my hair done they say your hair is thicker..lol but who can remember 7 months ago if they had a now and then picture they would be amazed..

    HI apologies for such a late reply, I wanted FUE but you can choose and discuss anything, I new what I wanted I did not have many questions as I did a bit of research, I really wanted a surgeon that was qualified , had experience in different countries and I always think if you are prepared to attend conferences and speak you cannot hide.. I really liked my small clinic..it was right for me and the results are looking good so far.

    Thanks very much, very kind..he is a good Dr , but also I think no so well known by people on this forum , always think its good to have new people cominng through with good results makes it a better forum and discussion area rather then everyone recommending the same people..but there are some great Dr's to choose from now..their results are consistent.

    Hi Yiddo, they have a good team and Dr Ekrem Civas I think is a really skilled Hair Restoration Doctor, results and experience I am very happy with. It does include hotel and transfers. Its a nice place and in a very safe area with Embassies , I really enjoyed the experience and enjoy watching the hair improve each month..I am Nearly 7 months now..another 5 months to go and may be a few more to see the final results..

    Thanks very much, yes, was good to look smart on the appearance front, I never really had issues with thinning hair , I just like having hair.. and being presentable ..for me I really used a different doctor one who I did my own research on from different resources and turned out I was spot on with that research, price and the outcome so far is v.good.. :rolleyes:

    Thanks that is very kind, it was quite a lot of growth between 3-5 months incredible..I really am lucky but I did choose a good Dr , and his team to thank, still have 6 months growing..

    Rkhan13 and zx_toth thanks for the kind words, sorry in my delay in getting back to people I have been really busy.. Yes Turkey, and with a Dr I researched well , not as known as some on this forum, but I think it depends where you look and what you want. Dr Ekrem and his team get great results, Costs is very reasonable and I feel is the right price for the Fue I had done , yes everyone had a different rate but I think this was a fair price and of course I am very happy. Costs under the 3700 Euro Mark but it will depend on the work you need costs is only set by your budget + work needed, do it right first time and make the budget you need to get it right. Don't think by paying more you are always going to get the best results, I think you always need to research your list of doctors and think about their work take a look at it and their experience. Highly recommend of course Dr Ekrem, I am 46 business man from London never thought I could have this done and it makes me happy..

    Thanks , I am really happy , the forum has been great, but I went with a Surgeon who on the forum was not well known by the forum but well known by his credentials and had worked in Europe and America., and I am glad I did I am really very pleased and also for Dr Ekrem Civas and his team , they are really good, and its been great.

    6 month picture..Turkey fue Another picture of my hair today Pleased with the look and still a long way to go but very happy with the rate of growth following the instructions by Dr Ekrem Civas and his team in Turkey. I am really pleased.:)

    Thanks yes after 10 days , removed the scabs naturally so no redness, the redness will come and go as you start the growing process and minoxidil, but for me it was a minimum as you can see from previous e posts. Today I am posting 5 months, it has come on really well, noticing a big difference last month in growth and very happy.

    Hi , That price has risen, from what I hear on forums, he is suppose to be good however that seems very steep, not sure what you are getting done or even if you are getting great advice, but I can really recommend Dr Ekram Civas would you like me to get them to call you. DM me and I will sort out. My transplant is going really well and I feel comfortable to help.

    Hi guys at 4 and a half months roughly very happy with progress lots of growing still but the improvement is starting to happen. Using just 5% minoxidil foam and vitamin b, every 5th day just using a break and applying Aloe Vera Gel just to give the scalp a bit of a rest and anything irritating goes. vitamin B tablet.. All good, depending on the light and camera you seem to get different results in photo.. but happy
