  1. Hi Guys, To be straight with you I wouldn't recommend any in Australia at the moment and that's after consulting, being in contact, seeing results first hand. Obviously as you should know, Dr Barry White should be avoided at all costs and in my opinion, your best bet (at this current time) would be to look in Europe or Nth America. I know Sunnycoast is looking into Dr. Path and like many I believe he does solid work, but I am not completely sold on him yet. Doctor's to look at in my opinion would be H&W (Strip), Shapiro (Strip), Bisanga (FUE and Strip) and a few others.. Hope it helps, if you need more info. Holler me
  2. BSpot- You know I have nothing against you. As you have been a great help and contributor to many a people. Read what I said earlier. I mentioned 'I didn't have a problem with it', that is with those employed by clinics to recruit patients. However, you know and I know there are shills left, right and centre who are willing to do and say whatever necessary to get the unsuspecting and newbies business. I just want to make sure this patient does his own due diligence and finds the right doct. for him.. Cool?
  3. Mate, They did the same things to me. Showed me pictures and all the b's that they throw at you. Heck $6,000 was for a year of treatments and no they did not throw any products in with the program except minoxidil/rogaine. I got a raw deal believe me. I was young and naive. Mate, if you want to continue with the laser treatment which I don't recommend, You're better off buying a hand held laser device you can use in the comfort of your own home. It will save you money and the embarrassment of going to the clinic to get your weekly treatments.
  4. Hey Eastern Boy> Now to be honest with you. Make sure you do your own research and look for the doctor that is suited to you. Just remember there are a lot of overseas clinic that will be vying for your business. Saying all the right things, popping into the threads. blah, blah, blah.. Not that I have a problem with that. But what I am saying is be aware of that and do your due diligence! Holla me as I am an aussie. We had another thread where aussies can chat and get to know each other better here- http://hair-restoration-info.c...66060861/m/936109573
  5. Hey Eastern Boy> I have visited and had Doctor Knudsen help me on a few occasions due to some repair work that I needed. I will be straight with you and let you know that he is helpful, knowledgeable and seems to know his trade. But I will also state that he does rather small sessions and plants at lower densities. If you're happy with that then by all means go to him. But in my opinion you can do better!
  6. Hi SoN, Good to hear from you buddy. The more aussies on the site the better. As for Dr. Marzola, I haven't had a procedure with him so I cannot comment on that. But I knew he was in Adelaide that is why I brought him up earlier. Between us mate and I know others will testify, I wouldn't bother with the laser treatments, I went to Advanced hair for a year of treatments and got ripped off of over $6,000. It isn't worth it mate in my opinion, no growth to speak of. Talk soon mate.
  7. Hi Kristijan, Let me guess. Was it Doctor Marzola? If you're not at liberty to say, no worries mate. Just research and keep researching my man till you find someone your comfortable with.
  8. Great to hear from you guys... I always wondered how many there were of us on the forums.. Check your private messages guys, for my e-mail addy. It would be great to keep in contact and to support each other. Parable
  9. Hi Guys, Just checking in to see how many guys who post on here are from Australia? If you're living in Oz. Let us know, it would be great to get in touch and see how we are all progressing whether we have already had a t.plant or researching into it. Parable
  10. Barry White is the worst. Just a marketing gimmick type bloke who sucks at what he does. Barry white doesn't even perform surgery anymore. But that won't deter him from publishing ad's on t.v and in the paper every chance he gets. There aren't any good doct's so to speak in Aust. at the moment, so your best bet would be to research elsewhere and travel.
  11. Hey Spex, How wide was the scar before the cycle and how wide did the scar end up after the cycle? It looks to be around 1 cm in the after pic but I'm not to sure. Can you please clarify? Also, food for thought; has Dr. Feller or any doctor for that matter thought about acquiring smaller staples? I've noticed that there is at least 5mm from one end of the staple to the other. If someone can get smaller staples, I wonder if that would stop the stretching of the linear scar even further?
  12. There really isn't anyone worth noting in Sydney Australia.. Yet alone Australia as a whole. Whatever you do, keep away From Barry White of National Hair Institute (Melbourne) who also has an office for consultations in Sydney. There is a good FUE surgeon in Sydney but his prices are ridiculous. Best look elsewhere!
  13. Hi Bill/Pat, You may want to check into Dr Martinick's website as she still has recommended doctor listed on her site, when the majority of us know she lost that right a while ago. http://www.newhairclinic.com.au/

  15. Andy1980> Can you post your results from National Hair Institute in Australia. I have never seen nor heard of a good result from them! There has only been negative results from Barry White and Crew! So if you do have a good result I would love to see them!
