  2. Hey sam, its average looking image & hard to tell what you are talking about, other than it looks good. what are you expecting to correct and how
  3. I'll have to wait til i get home and check... i think 5mg tablets,
  4. just wanted to share a moment I had last night and again this morning. I was brushing my teeth and like most nights had a good old look at my hair, prior to my last session I noticed a decent amount of thinning in a section towards left of my crown, i felt my crown was expanding, anyway last night i noticed it had filled in like it was a year ago, didnt think much of it other than different angle to the bright bathroom light but this morning after my ride to work (i shower in the office and the bathroom has horrible lighting) the scalp test was the same result. more hair in a place where its been thinning. im thinking to myself, ummm HOW? i know my last HT session no grafts planted there, so how? the only thing i can think of which is different to my daily treatment is BIOTIN, which makes me think i stopped taking it a year ago.. so for me BIOTIN is a must.
  5. i hate to brag but I have had 3 surgeries - 4785 FUE and its impossible to tell the scarring. i shave down to #1 to #3 blend all the time, in fact on NYE my close mates were shocked to see how much new hair i had and they were all convinced i had a HT, but couldn't work out why there was no scarring. they all had a good hard look and came to the conclusion they took all the hair from my nut sack. true story, i later came out of the HT closet and announce I had had the wayne rooney treatment, they were all well impressed
  6. just be careful and wash it out daily and look after your scalp mate
  7. hehehehe - my mental game isnt that great... but i do try
  8. lets hope for a cap free year... thanks for the kind words
  9. @ esrec, hey mate i think 3 months is just too early, why? i tend to think your new grafts need clean healthy scalp or they just wont grow to their potential and you could run the risk of a poor result or low survival rate. i could be wrong
  10. its been a big worry for me, so i understand how you feel
  11. hey guys.... 2 months gone now and well things flipped around in the last couple of weeks, the shockloss already seems to have fixed itself, and i had some redness so i used some nizoral shampoo and that went away too, still get the occasional pimple which hurts, more like an in grown hair that gets infected. but just cruising along again. truth be known, i was feeling really shit, back to living under a baseball cap all the time, until about a week ago when i woke up and saw a fair bit of change, the hat gets less use every day now... if things stay the way they are and the rest fills in, id be pretty happy camper.
  12. @Monty - yes its definitely just the cycle of your hair, i had the same at 7-8months try not to panic
  13. The staff were pretty cool under pressure, especially the little one, she was the one who grabbed the grafts and held onto them, it all happened pretty quickly, and considering I was in a much stronger earthquake about a year ago I didn't think all that much of it. I remember I kept saying it only feels like a 6 or 5.5, turns out it was 7.5. the damage caused 200 deaths so i was well wrong. Hows is it all growing / going? well i copped a massive dose of shockloss, im now at wk 8 nothing major to report other than i feel shit i lost so much native hair and praying it returns in the next couple of months. we'll see!!
  14. 2 days was the original plan and 2 different areas were indeed planted, hairline & crown followed by the mid section, lucky enough because i was at the ugly duckling phase of 10 weeks it was pretty bloody easy to see where the first session was and wasn't. would i do it again this way, simple answer is no, but i was left with little options
  15. not going to lie it was a risk on my own behalf, would i put my grafts through extra trauma would i cause the first transplant to fail due to new trauma, i pushed ahead anyway and hoped for the best, id say 99% of everyone on this site would have said. don't do it, wait a full year and if i hadn't done it myself I would suggest otherwise look the reason I did do it 10 weeks apart was I had a new job offer and with virtually no chance of getting away from the new office in the near future, i rushed ahead and got all done before i started the new job. subsequently took another 2 years before i could plan another one, which now has caused major shockloss, currently looking worse than the ugly duckling, looking back I did the best in a tight situation. but in your case you will need to assess the situation and know you are a couple of years of chasing your tail with hair restoration, step by step, its a long haul a long tiring journey of "i hope i really hope" will it grow, lots and lots of post op care, lots of daily treatment... lots of meds to take. an option that i am looking at in the future will SMP to add some density which might be a suitable option for you. also which hasnt been mentioned here is that you have very pale skin like me, which is great for FUE if you feel you want to shave down in the future.
  16. @Jmorscha - yeah i had originally planned for 4000 mega session, but when i had a face to face consultation with Dr Bhatti he was concerned that he may damage grafts taken 4000 out over 2 days and sadly i had to settle for 3000 and insisted on waiting for things to heal before he could remove more, hence the 10 week difference between sessions.
  17. Hey mate, I think you wouldn't be able to achieve the right look with FUE only, you hair loss looks up around NW5-6 range, thus i would think you need at least two sessions of about 3500+ per sess, over a 2 year period, may seem a long time but worth the long wait, all the best dude
  18. https://fuehairtransplantrepairferidunihairclinic2015.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/my-upcoming-repair-hair-transplant-fue-at-dr-feridunis-hair-clinic-in-belgium-2015-13th-of-july/ he should be about 5 months post repair job now
  19. i also copped a decent amount of dandruff around weeks 2-3-4 finally got some nizoral and have been using that twice a week, i had some redish skin well away from the transplanted areas and donor areas and i think the nizoral has cleared that up too. just sucks at this time of year with lots of luncheons and dinner parties to attend and all i want to do is hide under a hat...
  20. Hey mate.... you are definitely not alone..... you've come to the right place.... feel free to PM if you need a chat
