  1. I'll admit, I have been a bit of smart ass towards Dr Feller - i do apologise
  2. I agree seems consistent , He says FUE is going to be an adjugate that will drive the industry to higher level with more natural results thicker results, but he's not what he is saying now. i agree that some of things he is saying today is very consistent with back then, minus the FUE slaggin
  3. I don't, I suspect he feels that the expansion of FUE globally is a major concern for his own practice and will resort to scaremongering potential patience into his Godly view points to get money in the bank. 2009 he was pushing all FUT Dr to get on board the FUE train and now he is doing a back flip on his own words, what are we suppose to believe, did he lie back then or is he lying now. what that says he is that he actually lies, all trust gone in opinion. he has said no FUE advancement in 14years, so in 2009 when he was praising FUE nothing has changed, but in 2015 its the complete opposite. why?
  4. yes that 5% is what YOU refer to as the X factor, addressing the X factor is something you or any FUT will ever be able to do, its a gamble, its not full proof, high risk, with a massive life long scar to go along with you for life. just like your 22cm scar. How is that 22cm long scar going for you these days Dr Feller,
  5. may i put in for a request to see your Beard donor area.... very keen to see your results with BHT
  6. 600 of the replies is Feller repeating himself
  7. yes I am thrilled... best decision i have made.... in 8 weeks from now I will go in my final planned HT I cant wait...
  8. its the worst feeling then its the greatest feeling...... really nice thread, loved reading your journey..... now you're only a few short weeks away for the boom period
  9. nothing at all wrong with having worries about a HT, it is a big choice. things you might want to ask yourself that could help make your choice easier. How do i wear my hair now? short or long or shaved? What's your gut feeling about future hair loss? will it all go soon or not Are you willing to take meds? best way to support a HT is combining meds What is your realistic goals with replacing your hair? thick - all over but thinning look - better hair line - crown filled in NW 5 - most likely needs 5500 - 6500 for a decent look - do I have that in my own donor area? once you know your own limitations with what can be achieved and what needs doing with post op, the next move is deciding what method suits your own needs. anyway, all the best mate..
  10. Regardless of FUT or FUE this is a concern, can anyone shed some light on the matter.
  11. how does this make any sense, scar yourself for life and then when all else fails FUE which thins the area you want are so desperate to hide... screams madness to me and sorry Dr Feller 1 unsatisfactory transplant, my mistake,
  12. looks makes no difference who is the gold standard, 100% of all FUE patients don't want to live with a 22cm scar its that simple making it the gold standard for them. FUT is the gold standard of more reliable hair in some patients. Feller himself has had 3 FUT transplants, 2 unsatisfactory yet he goes around slamming FUE and wants to drag others into his stripped out logic. Therefore this debate will never end because its a personal choice, i choose FUE because i have my own doubts that surgery is forever, I also have doubts that transplanted hairs are DHT resistant, I am also unsure if i want to remain on meds for more than 5 years, I am also unsure if i want use foams oils every day for the rest of my life, both FUT & FUE rely on a daily boost to give yourself the best result, so if you commit to FUT you are committing to the rest of your life and if you commit to FUE you have the greatest back up plan, the argument stops there,
  13. i think we both fall into the 99% of all FUE's game plan, AKA back up plan, AKA escape root, AKA conservative approach, hence why it is becoming the most popular form of HT. I shave down to #1 around the sides every 3 weeks, doesn't look weird at all. My only suggestion is that stay on the meds for as long as you can, I have many doubts about the harvested hair being exposed to the area's of DHT and that harvested hair is different and doesn't get effected, i think the longer you take meds the longer the HT will survive, best of luck,
  14. i can already hear the feller calls now.... strip out until you cannot strip now more then go fue....... personally think he would look good with buzz cut, once Dr Bhatti fixes him up he'll be looking alot better probably happier too...
  15. Hi Sam, all your worries double thoughts are perfectly natural, I don't think anyone here has not gone through some degree of anxiety post HT, I know I certainly did. I'm unsure when you had your HT but try not to worry, the next few months are going to be the toughest mentally, so try and put things at the back of your mind and get on with living a positive life, take it one day at a time. all the best Sam....
  16. Dr Feller I have question for you, I have just read your comments on another thread, regarding a reason for a low yield and you said.... OR, your physiology prevents you from growing well. The so-called X-factor. If you do a strip procedure and it grows well, you will have your hair and your answer. . My question, how is one to know if you fall under the X factor umbrella before you chose to have a HT and is the X factor the real reason why FUE was developed, to avoid such cases with massive scar damage and strip doesn't grow well. I also find "If you do a strip procedure and it grows well" comment alarming to say the least.
