  1. thats a great result from only 2500, gone from bald to hair again, you should feel great about yourself, after my HT i avoided this site like a plague, I didn't want to hear everyone's opinions its tough enough worrying if those damn hairs are going to grow or not, but yours have grown and seemed to have multiplied, a fantastic result. best of luck for the next few months when it really kicks in..
  2. Hi David, the buzz you must be feeling now, the long haul is finally coming to an end, the weight off your shoulders, the light at the end of the tunnel, your hair is looking great, all the best mate,
  3. I’m an Australian in Chiang Mai Thailand, probably the largest contingent of American expats and tourist here than anywhere else in Thailand. I have been living in Thailand for almost 7 years now, and in that time I have come across many Englishman, , but I have noticed especially here in Chiang Mai is being able to spot where other white guys are from. Very easy for me to spot and Aussie or Englishmen, clothes stance, body language and of course accents. Americans are just as easy to spot as well, most of you are very loud and say the word LIKE a lot, but also I have noticed that American men going bald tend to try and grow as much hair as they can, whereas Aussies and English tend to just shave it off and be done with it. Indian people also are a lot like the Americans in that aspect. So my observations have lead me to think that culturally there is differences in attitude to hair. Therefore the attitude to re growing your hair would differ from place to place. FUT by what I am gathering seems to more popular in America because they prefer to have some hair rather than shave down. FUE seems to more popular with Aussies and maybe the English because of the shave down no scar escape route. This forum has people from all parts of the world saying FUE is better or FUT is better, perhaps its where you’re from that is a part of your decision making.
  4. I have a question, but does anyone feel that culturally places like UK Australia NZ are different in the attitudes to wearing hair than US or Europe. Being from Australia and having many English mates, shaving down is accepted as just the normal thing to do when losing your hair. I wonder if that's the same in other parts of the world.
  5. shaving down doesn't necessarily mean all over, for me I shave 123 on the sides and then blended in to match the top. ive always had this hair cut, suits me the best, until i lost too much on top, then buzzed it all off, FUE has been so wonderful in my life that I have been able to go back to my 20s hair cut . plus there is also a difference between a fit looking guy with a shaved head and guy with a bald head. I think FUE gives the bald guy a fighting chance to maintain an overall look and mimic the fit guys look.
  6. Dr Feller baiting FUE people again, really is so juvenile and getting boring
  7. Dr Bhatti would probably not do both, far as I know he did away with FUT years ago and would rather do BHT (beards mainly)
  8. Yes hair loss is progression, one thing wont change now or in 20 years is 25cm scar this young man has, we (FUE) have the option to buzz and move on, the ultimate escape route, this patient showing minimal hair loss with what seems an excellent donor area and according to Blake a good candidate for FUE, so I wonder why they performed FUT on him.
  9. but what major future loss are we looking at, even Feller himself said, may or may not have future loss, and again i will say that with another 2000 grafts in the future which he would have anyway in his donor area with FUE, why is FUT better, am I the only one who doesn't have their blinkers on to this, I merely pointing out the contradiction the Blake said on previous forum regarding a 30 year old with minimal hair loss is perfect candidate for FUE compare to 60 year old who wants the most hair, and now what Feller is saying the complete opposite in this video.
  10. yeah i did watch the whole video, he explains that due to further loss FUT is suited, as i suggested that the further loss would need about another 2000 grafts, a total of 4000 graft combined, it is hard to tell by the video but the donor area could be around 5000 grafts, therefore why is FUT best suited and not FUE knowing full well around 1000 spare grafts would remain Blake in a previous thread said a guy around 30 minimal hair loss would suit FUE better, now Feller is saying FUT is better,
  11. if you are going to max yourself out with a mega session I would think going on meds is essential to avoid any future loss. Remembering a HT is just the first step in getting your hair back, maintaining it is just as important.
  12. Hi Dr Feller, me again!! Now before I say anything this is NOT A PERSONAL attack, Ive just watched your video, and i have a few thoughts of my own. During the patients first consultation what questions did you ask the patient that made him believe FUT was the best solution? The patient had FUT of 2000 grafts correct? Now with what looks like a decent donor area, approximately 5000grafts, would you agree? During your video you are predicting loss in the mid section, which sounds correct, perhaps 2000 grafts to fill that in. So why is this patient is not perfect for FUE, being he has enough left in his donor area for future loss.
  13. double your session then come back to me about pain, LOL the injections are virtually painless, i just found the head being rammed into the bench while your neck turned to be uncomfortable, but while lying there you do your best to zone out. Actually what I hated the most was the spray on your head combined with the air conditioning, turning the water to near ice sliding down you back between you and seat. The second time around I insisted on towels blocking the water, was much more enjoyable. lots to look forward to again!!! LOL
  14. just letting you know a 3000 session is by no means smaller.... it is very physically draining, its 3 or 4 hours of having your head rammed into a bench and your neck twisted and then its 3 - 4 hours of sitting absolutely still. I cannot imagine going through this twice in a row. those out there that say its a walk in the park no pain are kidding themselves, it hurts, but the recovery is painless, so don't have to worry about that, just the mega itching....
  15. Beno, lots and lots of good advice.... If you don't seem to care about shaving down in the future, I think you are best suited for FUT, and this is coming from me a very mega pro FUE guy
  16. yep, growth never came, I remember the very second it happened like it was all in slow motion, I prayed it wasnt happening, must have been at least 20 came out at once.... anyway Im booked in for October to fix it and add fill in the crown, can't wait. and Shera, the before and after photo really does paint a massive picture, makes me so happy seeing what it was and what it is now.
  17. I choose Dr Bhatti because after a few years of research I came to one conclusion, I don't have the money for HT, the price I was looking at was $24,000 in Australia, $12,000 in Bangkok, or $6,000 with Dr Bhatti. At the time I hadn't seen that much results from him, I took the gamble went with my gut feeling and haven't looked back. I certainly made the best decision even if it was pretty much my only choice. I highly recommend that people in the US look abroad to someone as world class as Dr Bhatti, spend your $1500 on a plane ticket and save $15,000 on a HT. Take care Seth
  18. Joe Tillman I couldn't agree more with all your comments, with regards to your quote above, would be hard to say how many people now fall into this category but I suspect this is the majority thinking. Dr Feller is 100% correct for the best hair result strip strip strip til you cannot strip no more, for many of us that feeling in the back of your mind I will be branded for life with no turning back out weighs the actual hair itself. FUE is becoming the more popular choice, FUT is still very popular, but I wonder how men are now starting with FUT compared to starting with FUE.
  19. i was pinkish for around 6 weeks in some spots
  20. its a long journey there and back to do it all again 10 weeks later, but he runs a very tight ship the place does run like clock work, its just a tiring long long journey
