  1. Hi Kate Will the jelly also work on my bad back and dodgy knee??
  2. I had 1k grafts with Dr McClellan several years ago and was very happy with the result found him a top guy hid 120 4mm plug grafts for me, Dr Bill Rassman did the consult Dr McClellan did the grafts all went ok sorry to hear you were not happy
  3. I would put some pictures up and see the feedback. Does not sound like a lot of grafts from what you have said, perhaps styling differently could be another option. I would look towards Belgium Brussells seems to be were the better docs are operating from Let us know how you get on ej
  4. Eyeliner, rub it on your finger then apply finger to scar, works a treat, let me know how you get on
  5. Thought I would add a picture of before and after. Had a pretty short cut yesterday but as you can see the beard is still growing fine years later and has blended in well. I have no white dots on my face even when I have got heavily tanned contrary to what some Doctors claim. My beard donor is even no patches, feel like I have come a long way. ej
  6. Doctor Bisanga punched 3800 fue grafts from my face. (for my repair over 4 sessions) All the grafts were punched by Dr B Techs follow up with tweezers and lift them out. I have no visible signs of extractions even when wet shaved close. Hope this helps ej
  7. Hi Dwh First thing to do is to help yourself by not rushing into anything. If you are NW5 then I would not be to concerned about the hairline. Donor is limited usually so it may look odd if you concentrate just on the hair line. If I were you I would opt for a small fue procedure with a doc who uses a small hand punch, 0.9 mm or less, I would go for probably 500 fue into the frontal forlock only. I would then wait 18 months and see how you heal up and how things turn out. You can always expand on this donor permitting. Taking your points in turn 1 You say you are NW5 so I am assuming loss is not just in the hair line 2 Depends on how you heal and procedure you opt for fue or strip, also skill of the doc 3 Meet with several clients and see what they look like, not just the dr rep try to find a real client with similar loss and characteristics to yourself 4 Yes. A hair transplant is the biggest regret of my life, I would love to be NW5 and have no scars on my head and take back the 25 years of my life, I have spent to regain a normal appearance. Hope this helps all the best ej
  8. Hi Mick From my experience as a repair client totalling over twenty years, and a forum member of this and other forums for well over ten years, I have come to the conclusion that the clinic you mention conduct aggressive marketing campaigns. This can be either email shots like the one you received and also the old chestnut that gets some a `free procedure`. Unfortunately `free` and quality do not go together, and you have to ask yourself, how well a company is doing if they have to promote their services free of charge. Often reps from this particular clinic come onto the forums with one or two posts, and are very aggressive with their posting style, and also attack anyone who questions them. They almost always post semi-professional photographs of themselves, some are almost worthy of a models portfolio I personally like the side on, black and whites, very fetching ..... After a little research I found these people are often employed by the company and paid to promote I exposed a guy on another forum as a paid employee and he got himself into quite a tizzy about it and insisted the forum owner remove his name from all posts even though his name and pictures where in full public view on the clinic homepage?? All very weird hey! Best to arrive at ones own conclusions doing ones own research, and ALWAYS meet real clients from the doctor whom you are considering. I find that more often than not the next step is for my post to be aggressively attacked by the same promoters with the one or two posts, we shall see! Hope this helps ej
  9. Many thanks for the reply. Looks to me like a great yield. I am aware Doctor Dorin has been using beard donor for a while now, this looks like a great result. I often wonder if the results are indeed improved with your bio solution rather than the saline that the majority use. I have seen the stick and place, and intermittent fue used also, and wonder if this improves yield, as when the site is created the graft is placed immediately, usually by a tech. It seems to make sense that the yield would be better if the graft is out of the body less? Thanks again for your reply, fyi I have had 3800 beard grafts placed into strip acell scars Regards ej
  10. This client must be happy to have some good early growth and likely more to come at only 5 months. What is the graft breakdown beard/ chest? Do you find beard grafts seem to grow without going into a dormant phase. Does Doctor Dorin use a hand punch, do you use saline as a graft holding solution or another solution. Does Dr Dorin use intermittent fue, or extract all create sites, and plant as is the traditional method used by most. Has the client enough donor for further work towards the back? Interesting case and the client looks hugely better at this early stage he must be elated Regards ej
  11. Bisanga or Edward Ball ? This question is a bit like saying ` should I stay at the Savoy Hotel or the premier inn` ej
  12. This is a home run ..... looks like elvis !! ej
  13. This is an interesting case. Would be great to see some updates if possible Regards ej
  14. I wish my first doctor had turned me down when I was a 22 year old, as this would of saved me a lot of heartache, misery and expense, and at this age I had no idea what I was getting into. I think it is misguided to think you can have fue and then shave down and not worry about anything. I think a lot of people assume this, and then end up on the transplant treadmill, constantly going back for more grafts as mpb progresses. Some run out of donor, and when shaven are left with an odd baldness pattern, that does not look natural in any way, temples and hairline grafted with nothing behind it will look strange, shaven down or not. I always think its odd for anyone to opt for a transplant and then to shave down, I would save the cash and shave down anyway, most are aware that a transplant is an illusion of density, created by grafts placed effectively, a hair style that compliments the transplant, and products all work together to create an optimum result. Who was the doctor in Turkey that performed your procedure? Have you got any clearer pictures of the hairline as these would be interesting to see also? At such a young age I think most doctors would turn a client down as it becomes a question of ethics, it would be informative for others considering a procedure to know who these other doctors besides bhr were, perhaps you could share this info also? All the best ej
  15. All the best for today, look forward to seeing you progress Dr B and team turned my life around ej
  16. I would go for fue into the scar and avoid any drs who offer a quick fix things like `acell or magic hair grow quicky fix` , feel free to check out my repair below http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/160800-scar-repair-1032-beard-hairs-dr-bisanga.html best ej
  17. Bob After three procedures I would not risk a scar revision. A safer way would be fue into scar, with a doctor who has experience with this procedure. Feel free to check out how I addressed my strip FUT scars below, and how I regained a near normal appearance after earlier failed attempts to repair. All the best ej http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/160800-scar-repair-1032-beard-hairs-dr-bisanga.html
  18. I had my hair cut a couple of days ago and asked to go shorter than usual. Thought I would put up some pictures. Normally I wear my hair a little longer than this. Going forward I can forget about my scarring and concentrate on crown and forward. I am lucky to have the beard donor to be able to do this. Thanks for the comments, it has been a long hard road. I cannot put into words the feeling of freedom I feel. The last two pictures are taken at consultation, before any repair. Thanks again ej
  19. Thought I would put some pictures up unshaven after 3800 Beard FUE. Pattern of extraction has made loss of hair unnoticable when the beard is grown out. I will put some pictures up clean shaven and growth in the scar area later, I hope this helps others who have suffered horrendous hair transplant scarring. Regards ej
  20. I have had ten procedures in total. If i had known from the outset what I was getting into, I would of been happier, wealthier, and generally more content bald. Of course not everyone will need ten procedures, but more often than not two or three will be commonplace. Hope this helps ej
  21. I went the fue route http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/160800-scar-repair-1032-beard-hairs-dr-bisanga.html Hope this is useful for you All the best ej
  22. SF, Hope things are working out for you all the best ej
  23. Hi Cleveland I would go for FUE only. I would work on the area of hair shown to the side of your thumb in your last photo, and try to increase the density there moving backwards . Have a look at some docs who have experience in beard fue, and try to meet their clients who have had this procedure. SL Doctor Bisangas rep was a high norwood level and has outstanding results from beard and scalp fue. I would avoid smp. All the best, happy easter! ej
