  1. Looks really good Tony, nice and natural. All the best ej
  2. It would be interesting to know what was discussed at the consultation stage, medications, family history, future loss etc and also what the goals of the procedure were? Did the doctor suggest taking medications for a year see what they could do before any procedure? ej
  3. Hi Johnny, I am sorry for what you have been through, and understand the position you find yourself in, I too was left in a similar predicament. The best way to move forward would be slowly with gradual improvements. It would appear that the size of punch used was quite large, and that the area was over harvested, combined with a poor extraction pattern. I would grow your hair a little longer and use the search function for scar repair. Perhaps with your next procedure you could try some fue into the scars and see how they grow. All the best ej
  4. He is busted big time ! Bill someone keeps stealing my garden gnomes, for the life of me I can`t catch them! Can you help out ?
  5. I agree its a stella result for 6k grafts, you can put all this behind you now, what a relief all the best ej
  6. Hi Pepe, What an outstanding transformation, you must be thrilled! All the best ej
  7. Looks great, and at only 8 months post procedure, I am sure there will be more growth to come. The area worked in looks to be filling in nicely, and this Gentleman suits this shorter style. The donor area looks very good and appears to have been left with a uniform density throughout, confirming a well planned and thought out extraction pattern. This Gentleman has an age appropriate result, and as said earlier probably more to come over the next 3-4 months, he also has the option to return for further work in the future if he so chooses to do so. Thanks for posting, and thanks to the client for allowing his full face photographs to be used. All the best ej
  8. After my second procedure at BHR the Doctor was more than happy to disclose the transection rate to me. Regards ej
  9. I would aim to do two passes, first assess the growth re-establish blood supply within the scar, second to increase density if needed. I cannot tell the size of your scar from the pictures, so a guess on numbers would be to aim for about 25 grafts cms/sq first time around. Feel free to check out my scar/s repair below Regards ej http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/160800-scar-repair-1032-beard-hairs-dr-bisanga.html
  10. SFG `s Doctor could of joined the thread and taken this opportunity to explain how this happened. I think that would of been the best way to proceed, surgery as we all know is not without its risks and complications, this thread could and may well yet become educational for those considering fut. Going forward I wish SF all the best getting repaired, remember not to rush into anything, I found small improvements, maximum yield the way to go. All the best. ej
  11. SF I would go to your local Doctor and get this checked out asap. ej
  12. Hi Hariri, how are things going with your scar repair? hope all is going well, I have not been around for a while so hope all is good with you. Just my opinion, but I think punch size is very important, especially on bht, the last thing a repair client would want is their situation making worse by lots of little white dots on their chest or face. To big a punch can also destroy healthy follicles around the extracted grafts, causing the all to common problem of the `moth eaten` donor area. I prefer a Doctor who has the skill and ability to swap and use different punches during the procedure, as the situation arises. An example of this would be were the majority of extractions may be done with a .8mm punch, whilst a 3 or 4 hair graft may be extracted with a .9mm punch. I wonder if the automated and robotic punches can be programmed to do this yet? Hope this helps ej
  13. Below is a picture I took today of the donor area. In total I have had 3800 extractions from my face. I can now visit my barber every 4 weeks and get a regular cut and sport a normal appearance, you take this for granted until it has been taken away from you. Research really is key! All the best for the holidays! ej
  14. Here is a close up picture I took today, punch size used .8mm manual punch. I have had 3800 extractions. Regards ej

  16. Hi Diver, I would ask these questions at a consultation, as I'm not sure how much of the procedure the Doctor does himself. Most Doctors have assistants that help with the procedure though, its quite common. Regards ej
  17. Hi Roaming, I have had FUE from my face totaling 3800 beard grafts, to repair earlier poor, and outdated work. Regarding anyone noticing, I was good to go at about 4 days. The small scabs seem to drop off around then, combined with the surrounding stubble growth it was not noticeable. I had 1000 FUE per procedure as I believe smaller sessions over a period of time may produce a better yield, just my opinion though. I had the good fortune to meet Doctor Lorenzo at the Farjo centre last year, as they had an industry meet up there. I had time to view some of Doctor Lorenzo`s results on his laptop, as well as show my own result from Doctor Bisanga to the Doctors in attendance, Dr Devroye, Dr Shapiro and others in attendance. Seems to me both Doctors you are considering do great work. Regards ej
  18. I have been fortunate enough to meet Garageland in person, his work with H+W is top notch! ej
  19. Hi Aaron, I hope things are working out ok, as the repair road is a difficult one, keep positive and know that your situ can be improved upon! ej
  20. Hi Dubhain, You are looking great! It is an immense feeling of relief to get these type of scars improved upon. All the best ej
  21. I think this client looks great! Nice and natural with no sign of the plugs. I would take a natural appearance with a thin crown all the time, rather than looking odd. I think the graft count equates to 2.4 hairs per graft, which is probably the norm, other results posted sometimes have an `above average` donor density that obviously creates a fuller look, and can lead to false expectations. Great result Doc ej
  22. The guy on the left is obviously your Dad? You look great, did the transplant motivate you to shed the pounds? That is some loss in the time period stated, was it a combo of diet and exercise, interested to hear your workout routine if so Was this fue or fut? either way you look great! All the best ej
  23. Thanks Pete, That is an accurate statement, I really do have my life back. Sometimes I forget and lift my hand to the back of my head when out and about, before realizing I don't have to do that anymore. Repair is a difficult road to be on, as the goal is to look normal again. Thanks again ej
  24. Hi Trinder, Pm sent! BHR prices are all on their website, I think it was 6 euro per graft, best to check this with sl bhr`s representative. I found BHR very helpful and due to my location, I was able to take advantage of rare standby`s that came up. All the best ej
