Dr Rassman wrote and Interesting article on Artificial Fibres refered to as " NIDO " Fibres in his book " A Comprehensive Guide To Hair Restoration " It appears there are many problems associated with this procedure . Google Nido Fibres plenty of Info there ( most of it not great ) I wish I had access to a site like this 10 years ago so I could make an informed decision and go with a coalition doc , it beggars belief that anyone can have all this info at the click of a button and still consider risking what I consider to be a desicion you have to live with for the rest of your life ! on an unproven and controversial method of hair restoration . Hi Acrobaz, I used to use the paul mitchell conditioner as a shaving gel , they used to advertise it as a dual purpose product . In my opinion lots of these products are full of nasty chemicals and I wouldnt put it any where near my new " bonce " ! Have a look at Dr Mercola website Credance ( should be on google) and Newways its all au naturel with no or little chemicals . I used pure Vitamin E last time worked well the real stuff needs to be kept in the fridge ! Tea Tree oil in my opinion works well for minor skin complaints but Vit E worked better for me as in healing mainly in the donor area . Hope this helps ej

Hi Lost and gone , When I get me head around how to upload photos I will do ! Technology is not really my strong point . At the moment I have had in total 5 procedures . The last one did the damage re Scars left and right rear of my head ,from your pictures mine are very similar . I want to come over April / May and have a consult with Dr Lynsey so I will keep you posted , are you currently residing in the US ? I hope to get the repair work done when im over so i will get the photos uploaded and post full before and afters , I know its not much help but I grew my hair longer at the back to hide the scars made life a bit easier but now I want them revising , I think it may be a 3 part process 1 Reduce the scar 2 I year later reduce it again 3 Any spare donor to the front and top !! Hi lost and gone , If you are going for a third surgery go with a COALITION DR RECCOMENDED ON THIS SITE . Check out Dr Lynsey and results on Scar revision and do not let travel or distance affect your choice of Doc . I have had shock loss around my last scar for 8 years so I guess it isnt coming back !! There is a doc in Pakistan reccomended on here who has posted some impressive results and has good feedback from his patients may be worth a consultation . Keep me posted on your progress Im going to USA get fixed hopefully , I will meet with Doc Lynsey and post feedback and results . Also you say 2nd transplant done in 08 you may just be a slow grower , wait a while and do your research there are some great scar improvements pics on this site research " double layer suture " and tryco closure I think im right in thinking most coalition docs use these techniques . Hi lost and gone , Your scars appear to be similar to mine , I have had some great feedback from Dr Lynsey regarding scar revision he seems to be somewhat of an expert on scars ! . Look at some of the feedback and results relating to scar revision . It looks like you have shock loss in the scar area this may or may not grow back a few people reccommend minoxidil regain , again it may help . Good Luck ej

GDTL , Go to a Solicitor they should give you a free hour consultation they may work on a no win no fee basis to recover your deposit . The contract you signed would be a legally binding document , however Kiely has clearly misrepresented the service/results that you would expect and have paid the deposit for, this falls into Contract/ual Law and he has not really got any grounds to keep your money . Long time since I looked into contract law but I am pretty sure if you start the process ie Send Solicitors Letter directly to him to claim back your deposit within a certain timeframe Im confident he would return it to you . Re Nikolina there is no way on this earth I would consider any work with a surgeon who is not reccomended on this site , its taken me over 10 years to repair poor work, in a nutshell its Coalition Doc in the USA or Nothing Regards ej

It sounds like your up for the fight ! Get your pictures on this site , you may get some positive feedback about what can be done , the Coalition Drs are pretty much used to us English " Repair Patients " . I would defo turn up at one of there London meetings go into the find option on this site and print off all material relating to NHI and Malcolm Mendelsohn print it off and copy it and hand it out to absolutly everyone at the hotel highlite this sites web address that way you will be helping lots of other people . Mendelsohn used to live In Manchester when I got done at Athens 10 years ago now ! I turned up at his door one day and got "some " money back !! You mention a Greek Lawyer be careful you dont spend on legal fees what could be spent on a repair job most top docs cost around $10,000 I know the pound is not that good around ??7000 at the moment but it may be of more benefit just to warn others away from NHI rather than pursue your costs = ( time ? result ? unknown ). I know this is a bitter pill to swallow . Re Alvi Armani check out this site I cant stress that enough !!! see what other patients are saying, check out the pictures look in the find options . Mendelsohn used to work for DHI in Athens with a Dr Santos I think they are one of and much of the same ( Choi Method Gold Standard Bull ) merely being associated in any way to Mendelsohn would make me run a mile . Hi , I had a bad expierience a few years ago with Surgeons , Doctors, who were not very good at cosmetic surgery namely hair transplantation . Its taken a long time and a lot of money to get close to repairing this problem . My advice would be to " STAY SAFE " and only consider a coalition Doc from this site with plenty of patient reccomendations and results posted on the forums . I hope this helps ej

Hi Bill , Re My last post to clarify . It appears that Dr Vogel specialises in repair work ,his patients before and after photos are fantastic as our other photo repair results from other coalition Docs on this site . The point I was making to Gmama was to look at the "before " photos of the bad work which gmama could well end up with if he does not do his research and with the greatest respect and it is only my opinion either go with a coalition Dr or dont go at all . Dr Vogels repair work is fantastic the point I was making was get it right first time and avoid having to be a repair case . I am extremely Impressed at the repair work and results achieved by Dr Vogel, as I said earlier this site was not around 14 yrs ago when I got "plugged " I wish it had been ! Dear Gmama , I wish there was a site like this one 14 years ago to warn me of all the " hair transplant butchers " out there who will tell you what you want to here and proclaim to be " experts" and provide "state of the art" results in there field of hair transplantation ! When you say you "have no choice" take a look at the repair work many Dr`s have done on this site see Dr Vogel before and after photos those patients have no choice but to get it fixed which takes a long time and lots of money ! Am sorry to `vent` at you but in all honesty if you cant travel to a reccomended doc, I would just get a No 1 and have done its not worth the risk mate . Dear ZAZ , The DHI Site appears to be similar to NHI Greece . Read the forums Re Malcolm Mendelsohn and the Choi method of transplanting hairs , Mr Mendelsohn used to work for DHI Athens and prior to that with Dr May at Harley St London . I think if you want a great result you will have to go to the USA stick with someone reccomended on this site . You only get one chance to get it right and gain an exceptional result why risk it ? go to the USA and then in 12 months compare your photographs with your cousin`s and let us see the results ! ( Please post them ) Whilst your out there get your cousin a Yankees cap as he will probably need it !! Regards Ej

DHI Greece Nhi Greece is bad news ! butchered me didnt grow complete rip off ! They change thier name every now and then to avoid bad publicity ,basically just avoid hairtransplants in Greece and while your at it the UK/ Ireland as well ! Research this site ,read the reviews the way to go is USA flight to New York / North America is well worth it , the decision is for the rest of your life get it right !!!! ej

In my opinion get on a plane and go to the USA , we are light years behind here in the UK . It seems to me that this site can point you in the direction of a great clinic in the usa there are plenty of reccomendations. Stay away from Greece and the Choi absolute rip off ! You defo wont need a week off work with any work done in the USA they really are light years ahead 6 -7 hour flight I know what I would do . Hope this helps ej

Dear Looking for Solution .The only way I can add to this forum is by letting you know my expieriences from a scam clinic . I did not blame myself, I exposed the clinic on this site in the hope that others would not go there , I hope that my post reached thousands of people therefore saving them from getting , ripped off and lied to I certainly do not regard myself as a loser . I think it would be fair to say that a good transplant speaks for itself therefore the patient wouldnt need to tell anybody as the results speak for themselves . My advice to you at this moment in time would be to not have any Transplants done untill you can satisfy yourself as to your expectations as they may well be unrealistic . I dont think sites like this label anybody and I dont consider myself to be disgruntled , I joined this site to warn others of my expierences not mistakes ! therefore hopefully reaching thousands of people to make a more informed decision about hairtransplants , I felt this as some of duty to others considering HT . If I had had a great result , I probably would not of found this site and assumed all Clinics and Doctors were honest and capable of delivering great results which is not the case , and My Friends and family would of said things like " you look good " or " you look younger " however the need to shout out " Yes I have had a Hairtransplant " would of not been my response . So in answer to your question I hope to of told thousands of people about my bad expierience and not hid away . I think your post is unanswerable as it in many ways points to each and every person who has had a transplant and tries to gauge what there behaviour / reaction would be , this of course is impossible to answer therefore I can only reply to you from my own expieriences and how I dealt with things . The Dr wanted to do 1 strip but couldnt! therefore he did 2 either side of my head one seemed to distress the other and the photo I sent is the worse scar the hair just fell out around it leaving a lot of white scar tissue . Hi Does anyone know of reputable surgeon to remove or repair scars from the donor area . I made a massive mistake about 8years ago of a transplant In Athens Greece and although the donor area was sutured ,it quickly stretched to a 2 inch gap and approx 4 inches in length and is now totally scar tissue as the hair around it fell out , to make matters worse the transplant did not grow! The donor area appears to be quite lax now and I want it removing or reducing . Any reccomendations would be gratly appreciated . EJ

Please dont go anywere near Malcolm Mendelsohn at NHI Greece or former company DHI Athens . I have a large scar from the surgery I recieved there ( 6 inches by 2 inches ) and the grafts did not go . Bill Rassman at NHI Clinics USA or Bernstien medical New York are the world leaders , you only have a small amount of donor hair therefore it is vital you get it right ! . The Choi is not as accurate as a skilled surgeons hand and it is my Independent and ex patients opinion , any success at NHI Greece is down to more luck than skill and expertise . Feel free to email me for Photos of the scars I still have from NHI, avoid them , get on a plane to New York incorporate your transplant into a short break holiday do not risk any UK Clinic it is a sad fact that the UK is light years behind the states , unfortunatly thats the situation for the forseeable future .
