  1. Hi Sparky , I have had six strips am interested in getting fue into them all hope to go down to anumber 4 guard are you happy with your work so far ? cheers ej
  2. John If you had been given the waiver two weeks prior to the surgery , would it have made any difference ? would you still have gone ahead with it ? just out of Interest ? it appears to me that you were pretty unhappy on the day of surgery , did you relay this unhappiness to the Dr on the day ? I have had six procedures three with coalitions Drs its standard procedure to sign a waiver , I have allways asked at the consultation for all paperwork to be handed to me so I can mull over it over a cup of tea at the hotel , its one less thing to worry about on the day of surgery, perhaps patients should ask for the waiver and get it done with ! Re non refundable deposit thats standard practice at the time of booking a procedure Going forward I know what you mean re buzzing down its similar to me , how you deal with it is up to you, personally I would look at getting some fue into the scar I have seen some impressive results ! whatever you do please keep us updated Sparky is probably right re further posts so will wish you well Regards ej
  3. John , I would not be `satisfied ` with anyone taking legal proceedings against me I find it odd that you would welcome it . Re Dr Feller initiating proceedings , I do not believe this to be the case , rather defending himself and his practice which is understandable . I would urge you to re read your posts its changed from being drugged to having a `valium `, John there is a huge difference !!! , I feel sorry for you as you are not where you want to be but please dont attack this forum or community as its the one place that will probably help you , I think most people on this thread want you to have a great result ! If I was in surgery and you called nine times and the Dr left me for each call I would be pretty pissed ! Look at it from other points of view rather than your own ! As I said earlier it appears like you have an online vendetta ( not just on this site ) but where do you want to be ??? Formulate a plan , fue into the scar or revision I would take a positive direction instead of this one which serves no one least of all yourself Regards Ej
  4. John, Im sorry that you are unhappy with your results , I have been in a similar situation so believe me when i say I know how you feel . However a couple of points , Results are not guaranteed I think that this should be researched fully by the patient before any procedure , sometimes patients dont get the result they expect , when this happens i think it is then about how the Dr goes the extra mile to help and put things right . Dr Feller has proven time and time again that he stands by his patients I have never met the Dr so please dont catagorise me as `his following` I have noticed that you refer to your scar more so than your hairline now , which i think is good , i think you have a great hairline the photographs look good , i have not seen your scar/ donor so nil comment on that . I have had six procedures , all correspondance was via email , trust me there is nothing unusual about that , my expierence is that the Dr generally gives you a number the night before, and the day of surgery so if need be you can contact the Dr .Dr Feller appears to be a `hands on Dr ` what I mean is he has one patient per day , I would not be happy if he left the op on occasions to take telephone calls , email is a much more convienient way for both Dr and patient to communicate . John please dont take this the wrong way but nominating yourself for prospective patients to view your scar is not really the right way to go about things , it is becoming almost like you are conducting a campaign against the Dr which ultimately wont do you any good . You need to work out a way to get were you want to be, scar revision would be my advice with a Dr of your choice . As I have said I have had six prior procedures over the last 19 years , I have seen a lot , but never ever have i been asked to sign a waiver whilst medicated that just does not happen . regards ej
  5. Gillenator , you make some interesting points ! I dont want to take the thread too off topic but i think there are 3 points to address and people need to understand : 1 poor results sometimes do happen 2 expectations need to be managed 3 What can the Dr do to help, and the patient reasonably expect from the dr if it is a poor result I think these points need to be clarified at the consultation stage regards ej
  6. I read about a dr who had a patient with a poor result where the dr stood by the patient and offered him a free procedure with himself or to pay for a procedure with a dr of the patients choice , thought that was a good way of working things out towards a satisfactory outcome ej
  7. I have heard a lot of good re Dr Ozgur I think he specialises in Fue and body hair transplants , be good if anyone has any feedback on him and can contribute . Re being confused , yes it is confusing thats why you have got to spend plenty of time and not rush into anything , check out various Drs on this site and speak to as many patients as you can , you really cant do enough research and i cant stress to you enough the importance of ` getting it right ` have some online consults and take your time !! regards ej
  8. Hi Spark Get some eyeliner from boots should do the trick! Best bet is either to rub it on yer finger and smudge it on or just pen it straight on Hope this helps ej
  9. Hi Jake , Keep doing the research , I really looked into graft survival and different views various Drs had on this , how the grafts our hydrated , how long they are out of the body , how they are handled and survival rate were important to me , In an earlier post I asked a poster promoting the neo graft Qs re the above and they did not get back to me , my view is that donor is limited and to be used wisely , I dont think the neograft machine can handle grafts delicatly enough as its based upon suction perhaps a Dr using this could correct me if Im wrong , I would go with a Fue surgeon who consistently produces good results Hope this helps ej
  10. Looks good , What about Beard Hair to scalp ? Is this something Dr Rahal offers Thanks Ej
  11. I had the Acell treatment to my donor area , you must remember though I have bad scaring from 5 prior outdated procedures I think the Acell is used to prevent scar tissue forming and as a healing aid , you need to check with the Dr as to if you require it , Im nearly 4 months in and everythings ok , will post pics when got 12 months down the line !! Regards ej
  12. I just wish Drs would just get on with beard hair sounds much more do-able to me Regards ej
  13. Hi John Your scar wont stay red, after about 12-18 months it goes white and then fades over time . I hope this helps ej
  14. Hi , Im waiting a few more months before starting a blog , Im 4 months in so nothing to see really , not shaving made it for me lot less hassle ! Regards Ej
  15. This looks like a really good result , how many grafts did you have ? A second procedure would be up to you ,I think it looks great , who was your Dr ? All the best ej
  16. ok , you really need to STOP and think before you do anything ! I dont believe you really want to post pictures that are not as good as they could be ! Commit to spending the next few months on this site and get some research done , ask qs , look at which Drs are posting consistently good results , If as I think you are going to go `feet first` into this at least stick with a recommended surgeon they are pre screened and recommended for a reason ! I wish I had access to the net 16 years ago and in particular a site like this to guide me in the right direction , there is no second chance to get this done right Hope this helps take care ej
  17. My opinion is they dont work think its a bit of a rip ! Regards ej
  18. Hi UK Bloke It is confusing with all the info out there , thats why you must take your time before jumping into anything , the only clinic in the UK to consider is Dr Farjo , Mick posts on here with Dr Farjo`s results and contributes to Qs and As he is quite a helpful bloke . A transplant really is not something you can rush in to I had my first 16 years ago and have spent since then getting repaired , believe me you do not want to be in that situ , take your time and find a Doc who constantly has good results . It really is all about doing loads of research and making an informed choice and the biggy dont let travel or cost influence you ! I went to a coalition Doc as I felt that was best for me gave me a lot of confidence to proceed with my repair Please do your research and remember a "Good Decision Today is a Good Decision Tommorrow " Research is the key ! Hope this helps ej
  19. Hi Congats on finding this site it will enable you to do the necessary research before commiting to a transplant . The only UK surgeon recommended on this site is Dr Farjo . Do loads of research before you jump in to anything and check earlier posts as I remember not so good reviews of the surgeon you mentioned ! Personally I would stick with a reccomended surgeon Hope this helps ej
  20. you are so lucky you have found this site ! Firstly the 3 clinics you have been to are not reputable !! if you continue to research you will find that they are absolutly the most terrible clinics out there . The only UK clinic is Dr Farjo and thats it !! Do your research and speak to spex mail him ! All the best ej
  21. Yes , Dr/s Farjo are THE ONLY uk clinic to consult with and consider , I cannot stress the Importance of Dr Farjo being the only UK clinic to consider !! Hasson and Wong produce excellent results also Hope this helps ej
  22. Hi I had a ht with Dr Cooley 1st December 2009. I had 2000 Grafts and did not shave , I think its personal preference as to Drs shaving or not and I dont think it affects the results . Not shaving is a huge benefit if you want to get on with things I was in Baileys Bar just up the road from Dr Cooleys HQ 2 days later !! This was my 6th transplant and by far the easiest to recover from Regards ej
  23. you cant go wrong with Dr Farjo if you are in the UK , he constantly has produced excellent results . You should not be confused in the slightest avoid the hospital group far to many negative and unhappy patients Regards Ej
  24. No worries, no it doesnt bother me re people sharing there expierences , thats what this site is all about regards ej
  25. He did not say quote " supporting " he said " promoting" go back and read his post , and yes your right there is more of you now...... 1 more ! Come back in 12 months with grown out results and pictures Regards ej
