    So prior to my HT I was practicing putting the clinic bandanna on my head. In every case the fabric touches the scalp, which I thought might not be ideal. On the other hand it is the default way...is the contact typically ok? Is it ok to just not wear a bandanna at the airport? I won't be going outside anyways.

    ^It's actually T that is responsible for those things btw. If you're a typical user, I don't believe you'll notice any difference on finasteride. This drug is very anticlimactic.

    How quickly do you guys get on a plane after the HT? Is it next day, or wait a few days? I have heard you should get on the plane next day as you'll see swelling, OTOH, I'm concerned about dislodging grafts/bumping heads in a long flight from EU to the East coast. By which day are grafts safe?

    Eh. This was a mistake from the clinic's part and they have apologized and hopefully will fix. Not quite bloody murder.

    There is actually a pretty big world of good/decent surgeons that aren't known on this site. You'll need to do a bit of digging and research but cast your net pretty wide for sure. Some names that might interest you that are in your price range: Maras Lupanzula Chueco (Argentina-based colleague of Lorenzo) Marwan Saifi Juan Couto Rafael De Freitas Also check out Dr Ball in England, I don't know how good he is, he used to work for Ziering Hair which is not great but he's ramping up after starting his clinic and will likely be more visible on the forums.

    ^It seems that when you get off finasteride, patients experience accelerated hairloss until they go back to sort of a baseline. It is as if the follicles realize they need to jump.

    While it's ideal that the doctor have a number of results out there, one thing to keep in mind is that not all patients come for follow ups. Especially the Turkish clinics who have significant foreign patient populations. A doctor like Jose Lorenzo can do it because his practice was mostly built on patients from Madrid. Clinics like Hasson and Wong travel to foreign countries to do consultations and can document patient results. It's tricky.

    I don't think too few grafts is an issue as there are too many gaps up front. If there were too few grafts then Bhatti should have focused on the frontal zone. At best this is poor planning, and at worst poor regrowth. Neither take is good from the clinic's work.

    Are you referring to Arika Bansal's clinic or Dr Path's DHT clinic?

    Very impressive as he has fine hair. Looks like his crown climbed upwards?

    One plus point about him is that he does all the harvesting along with recipient site creation.

    All of these surgeons are great for FUT and each does excellent hairline work IMHO. Since Konior is booked for a year in advance, you might want to try Gabel over him.

    I would just fly there to see him, it's not a long flight and will be well worth your time. I may be going to him for surgery myself.

    ^IMO Lorenzo is great at covering large areas and crown work, but I think Lupanzula's frontal work is more aesthetic. Also Lupanzula is far more involved in the surgery than Lorenzo. The main plus point about Lorenzo is that he has such a ton of videos out there about his work along with many patient posted results, you can have a good deal of confidence. Lupanzula is newer, although he has quite a big following in Spanish forums.

    ^Oh dear. That HairClone thing is run by Paul Kemp, who previously used to run Intercytex, which also had some involvement with Farjo and I think ran trials there. Would love to hear Farjo's thoughts on ICX. He claimed they ran out of money. *eyeroll*

    Nothing can be learnt high level in a few weeks, but I don't believe it requires a lot of talent to learn FUE harvesting.
