  1. I think you're making a mistake getting an HT but that's just my opinion. You're a NW2 at age 43......
  2. I think that looks pretty good for 3000 grafts and with your head shaved. This is the main reason a lot of guys are choosing FUE. No way your hair could be that short with strip.
  3. I agree with the other posters -- it's way too early to call this a failure just yet. But to answer your question, I think your "out" is to buzz your head and get smp in the donor and possibly other areas to make everything look uniform. If you go down that road, I would talk to Nicole at Shapiro Medical Group in Minnesota. I've seen her work in person and it's amazing. She also posts on here so you can see some cases. Best of luck....
  4. Amazing Nicole. He must be thrilled. Looks perfectly natural.
  5. Ha...great find Swooping! I suspect that his opinion changed when he realized that he wasn't that successful of a FUE doctor after all so then it became in his best interest to discredit it. Any shred of credibility that he had has now been completely wiped out.
  6. Like I said about 5 pages ago.....this thread is nothing more than another attempt to discredit FUE by Dr. Feller. At this point, I'm starting to think he just wants to publicity, even if it's negative.
  7. Why even bother to play this "game?" It's just another avenue for him to push his agenda. I guarantee you when he reveals the answer it will have some spin that suggests FUE is inferior.
  8. Might be one of the GOAT with that much loss and only 2500 grafts. Well done!
  9. Unlimited donor is the answer....win-win for everybody. We get to have our teenage hair back and the surgeons get rich!
  10. Man...poor guy. I hope you're able to fix him up Dr. Bhatti. He probably would look a lot better with his hair buzzed instead of growing it uncontrollably long like that to hide the scar.
  11. Agreed. You can see the light stubble where the transplanted hairs were placed. Good for him....his hair looks great.
  12. You're hilarious. You just proved yourself wrong. You're right....99.9% does mean 99.9 out of 100. So 99.9 x 10 = 999....or 1 in a 1000 Can you at least admit that you were wrong on the math here?
  13. No, I didn't mean 1 out of every 99. You said "99.9% of all HT's would be FUE." That is 1 out of every 1,000 procedures. If you would have said "99% of all HT's would be FUE" then that would mean 1 out of every 100 procedures. Either way, it's laughable because I'd wager a large sum that it's not even close to 1 out of 100.
  14. I think one of the big benefits to FUE is that if your hair gets to a point that you don't want to do anymore HT's and wave the "white flag" to MPB, you could buzz your hair everywhere and not have a big scar on the back of your head. The hair transplanted to the front should still frame your face well and with the buzz cut the donor area shouldn't have any noticeable scaring. Here is a good example of a guy who did FUE and enhanced his results with SMP....and also keeps his hair buzzed: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165354-dr-ron-shapiro-fue-2194grafts-3754hairs-after-smp.html
  15. Really? You're an MD and you are really going to try and get us to believe this? So basically what you are saying is that 1 out of every 1,000 hair transplants is FUE? You've already lost most of your credibility with this forum in this thread but this post takes the cake.
  16. Funny thing is he would probably have a killer HT result with that persistent forelock.
