  1. Hope all goes well... Dr. Keser is on the top of my list for FUE.. i've never seen a bad result from him as for traveling after procedure, i guess it's alright but it's better to ask dr. keser about that, usually doctors will give you a pre and post op instructions that you need to follow to get the optimum results, all those details should be mentioned.
  2. Money is not a factor for me nor the procedure or the post op process. My main concern is the SCAR (both strip scar or even white dots FUE scars), right now im shaving my head no guards with a trimmer, cause i really hate the look of thinning hair, the thing i hate about that there is almost no hairline so i really wanna do something about it, but the problem is that if i go for an HT i will lose that option forever, even with FUE you cant shave with no guards. And nobody knows what the future is holding, im 29 right now and i might go nw6 or 7 in the future that means no future HTs will ever satisfy me, so if that happens i would like to shave and move on. So to sum things up. The only thing stopping me from going for an HT is the scars. That's why im kinda considering HST since the tool they use is 0.5 to 0.6 mm and the donor regrow with no scars (even if it does not grow again 0.5 or 0.6 will make huage diffrence than 0.75 to 0.9mm... Just like 0.75 to 0.9mm makes huge diffrence than 1.0mm or more. Another option i have is to wait for Dr. wesley scarless procedure but nobody knows if this even gonna be available. EDIT: i forgot to mention that im not gonna use propecia, so for sure im gonna loser more hair in future (unless if rogaine works by itself) so avoiding scars is needed for future planning
  3. The way i see it, is if you fear the sides that much, then don't take the med, the thing is our mind is complicated, and if you fear something too much chances are you might not feel normal taking it even if you dont really get the sides... some ppl experience some sexual issues even without taking any meds and in many cases there is nothing wrong with them and it's just in their heads. Alot of ppl take propecia without even searching or caring about the sides and they don't get them. But having said that some ppl do get sides even if they don't think about them.. So it's really upto you.. You can try rogaine, who knows it might works for you..
  4. FUE heals faster than FUT since there is no cutting and stitches involved... There is also this HST (not alot of documented results about it though) which they claim that it even heals faster than FUE since the drill they use is like .5 to .6 mm. So it's all up to you, you can go with one of those option if you are not willing to go through along recovery periods. Also i beleive the FUT recovery time is depend on how good the doctor is.
  5. Dude honestly ur hair looks great. Stop worry about it and enjoy your college years.. Once you start being obsessed about your hair your life will turn!! Now for ppl who really got thin hair or bald spot at your age they have the right to stress about it but for you, your hair still looks great, so dont take any meds before you make sure that you really balding (not just getting a mature hairline).
  6. The thing i like about his hair yesterday, is how he was able to have the sides and back really short with no problems. Seems like his FUE scars are not noticable at all.
  7. He is man, but if you remove his hairline completly he would still look good but not as good.. Hairline frame your face and does not make your forehead big as hell and shiney
  8. Hi guys, I was trying to order rogaine foam from amazon, but i found they have many rogaine foam items there that have slight diffrent descreption and even diffrent rating, for example: One says : Rogaine for Men Hair Regrowth Treatment, Easy-to-Use Foam While other says: Rogaine for Men Hair Regrowth Treatment, Extra Strength Topical Solution. And some just don't mention easy-to-use nor extra strength, and even their package is kinda diffrent. Is there any diffrence between those in anyway and if so, which one is the best, sorry if that sound like a stupid question, but this is my first time ordering this, and i just found it weird that same site sell same items with somehow diffrent descreption, packaging, and even rating. Appreciate your help..
  9. Also he had his hair really short from the sides and back. I guess his scars are really minimal.
  10. They say propecia and rogaine best work together. Rogain helps also yo maintain your nativve hair in a diffrent way than propecia, and if it works for you it makes your native hair thicker and grow some hair.
  11. As i read, rogaine works best on the crown and it's not that affective on the hairline. I was told rogaine foam is much easier to apply than the liqued one and it drys really fast, and many HT doctors say that applying rogaine only once aday is enough and will give the same result, so you might consider to apply it at night before you sleep and then you shouldn't have an issue with toppik. I think if you are taking then you can go without rogaine but if you are not taking propecia then it's better to use rogaine to try to maintain your native hair as long as possible. In my case, since i will not be taking propecia because of the possible sides, im planning to start on rogaine foam once aday (at night) after i have my HT.
  12. What they say is that it decreases the collagen which is somehow the thing that keeps the skin young. Hell, i dom't even know what collagen is. But i read those reported sides on so many places..
  13. Hey All, Im panning to start using Rogaine Foam. However, i was reading about it online and so many people (both men and females) seem to talk about how this stuff, ages your skin, gives you dark circles under eyes, and wrinkles... is there any truth to that ? it honestly does not make sense to me but it seems like everybody is talking about it.... Please let me know your experience.....
  14. cimborm, I hope other health professional give you some openions here. one thing you might have to consider, as you know even if propecia woks for you, you have to take it on a daily basis for life. so in case you were tying to make a family, then you should quit it at leat a month in advaned to be in the safe side and then again around 9 months during your pregnancy, i would guess during that time you might lose most of the hair you gaied with propecia which will be devastating Good luck with whatever you decide.

Below information are from propecia website: Important Risk Information About PROPECIA PROPECIA is for the treatment of male pattern hair loss in MEN ONLY and should NOT be used by women or children. 16. Thanks all. To be honest, that was my thoughts regarding HST at the beginning. But after doing some research, i see that the whole concept about HST is the re-growth of donor hair since not all the follicle would be removed if this is the case (Even if the re growth is weak and not as the original one) then it makes sense not to have scars, since FUE white dot scars are located in the places where the follicle are removed completely. im not certain if this technique as good as it sounds, but if it's a scam i believe the business would have already been shut down since it's been operating on different countries for like 4 years based on the re-growth concept and it's even done on high profile people, so if it's nothing but a scam i would think their business would be closed by now already. having said that, i still think with HST, the recipient hair does not grow as thick as with other existing procedures (FUT, FUE), so i don't think this procedure can replace FUT or FUE, but it could be a valid option for those advanced cases where people just looking to buzz and have a hairline. just like dean saunders, who is a nw6 who went through HST to have a hairline that frames his face and according to the updated videos and interview with him on their site, he still shaves his head down to 0 (which i guess he wouldn't do if he got visible scars) and he has a hairline (even though it's too high, but still better than nothing for a nw6 case). again im not expert when it comes to HTs but the fact that HST is done on many famous people as well as regular people (there is a big waiting list for this procedure) and some with very high baldness patterns (like dean saunders who might never get a full coverage but at least his face is framed now and he still shaves as he used to do before HST) and their business is still going and expanding, then it's likely not a scam.
  17. Any thought here ? Im not just talking about HST, im talking in general, if any clinic promised you in written that you will have no scar no strip nor white dots or anything, and then you go for the HT and you end up getting scars, do you have the right to sue them ? Btw im not only talking about scars im talking about any wrong promise that is easy to deduct and prove wrong..
  18. It's alright bro everything will be fixed with a qualified dr. Btw even Melike is specialized in FUT not FUE. The only dr. I will consider in turkey to do FUE is dr. Keser. good luck with your next step!!
  19. Im about to start a family and im afraid of the sides, i could be wrong though but i beleive the continues usage of any drug will create sides if not now then it could be in the long term And it's not like a risk you take for a short time and you done. Those meds have to be taken for life. Im fine with the buzz cut down to grade 0 , all i really wanna do is frame my face with no scars and then if i start losing more native hair ill keep my hair buzzed to 0. There is a football player called Zidan, he has a weird kind of natural balding where he still has his hairline (V shape) but he's totally bald from the crown and he keeps shaving his head and still looks 100 time better than regular bald dudes just because he still got his hair from the front (even though it's not like he has the best hair line or something but it suits his age) You can find his pic in this link: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/__DaEALZWZUk/S_EftFpJxYI/AAAAAAAAEFs/8EPZcCwt98E/s1600/Zidane3.jpg
  20. Im trying to contact dr. Wesley to see when hes expecting to have this out exactly, if it's end of 2012 or beggining of 2013 it might be worth the wait but if it's not clear when it will be out which might be end of 2013 or even after that, i dont think ill be able to wait. Then i might either go for HST (gho procedure) if i gurantee that there will bo no scars at all as they claim, or go with regular fue knowing that grade 2 or 3 would be the shortest i can cut my hair. I really wanna frame my face so bad man..
  21. Hello All, I just got a quick question, if you go for an HT and the clinic gave you some promises (written) and then they turned out to be wrong, do you have the right to sue them ? For example let's say a clinic told you that there would be no scars at all (i mean at all) and then you end up getting visible scars, do you have the right to sue them ? My question is because i was reading about HST procedure where they tell you it leaves no scars at all (totally scarless) but some people on ther forums (who never did HST btw) say that this is a lie and HST leaves scars. Then my question is if it really leaves scars and HST is been there for around 3-4 years in like diffrent countries (3 to 4 countries) then how come there are no lawsuits against them and they still have their business and even expanding to diffrent countries (they are planning to open new clinics in 2 new countries) ? I mean i understand some clinics promise a yield growth rate that might not be right but this thing is hard to deduct, but the SCAR thing is so visible and easy to deduct. Please let me know what you think.
  22. I have been reading alot about HST lately and i beleive that it is a scarless HT. you get the benefit of having no scars or atleast no visible scars where you can shave down to grade 0. However, Based on many results i saw the hair in the recipient area does grow as well but not as thick as other results of FUE and FUT. thus, i. Think HST. would be perfect for those who wants to sport the buzz look and wants to keep their hair as short as possible with a decent hairline. But for those who never wanna sport that look and wanna keep the hair long, then scars don't really matter and they can go for FUE or FUT.
  23. Same thing here, i really wanna frame my face so bad and then if i keep losing my hair (baldness is progressive and unpredictable specially since i will not be taking drugs) i would like to buzz my hair as short as possible like to 0 grade or maximum 1, then my face will be framed. But with fue if you go that short ull still get those white dots. Dr. Wesley mentioned in his website that soon he's coming out with new totally scarless procedure : Scarless Hair Transplantation by Carlos K. Wesley, MD Thing is im not sure when this will be available. HST (gho procedure) is another option where they claim it leaves no scars at all since the donor hair will grow again.. But i cant find enough information and results about HST, since it's new approach that is not followed by anybody other than dr. Gho. Keep us updated with your research. Good luvk
