  1. Hi guys, So here is a 3.5 month update with some pics not taking any meds and never will. I am happy with the way things are coming along so far the whole experience was a pretty positive one apart from the horrendous swelling straight after the op, a little tip dont take a 16 hour flight a day after your op! There is only one concern I have with what Dr. Keser has done for me and that is the placement of the grafts on the right side of my head do not seem to follow the pattern of the already existing hair and are growing at a different angle. maybe I can overcome this with a good hairdresser What you guys think? So there is my update if you have anymore questions, I will be happy to answer them because I know how difficult a decision it is to have a hair transplant. Regards, Japz
  2. Hey I had 1450 grafts in total around 800 on the left side and the rest on the right. But only paid for 1300 @ 3.5euros because he gave me the rest for free so I paid around 3.15 a graft which ain't so bad but I just hope the results come to fruit because the price is not so important. The grafts we taken from all over the back of the head it just that I have only uploaded one picture showing the donor area. I really hope that the gaps fill up in the future months its still a bit patchy and will keep you all updated with pictures. Thanks for your replies.
  3. So here it a few pics from my surgery with Dr.Keser the whole experience was great in Turkey I couldn't fault it. Dr. Keser and his team were very helpful in every way and he even gave me 100 extra grafts for free instead of paying for my hotel which I had already booked. The experience aside it is the results that count and what we pay the money for so I would be interested to hear your views on the quality of the transplant and if what you see at this time post op if is normal. My main concern is the angles of the hair and also the gaps between certain planted grafts maybe this is down to shock loss in this area but I would be very interested to see what you guys think.. Thanks in advance Pre op 2012-09-03 08.20.54.jpg 2012-09-03 08.21.04.jpg 2012-09-03 09.56.21.jpg 2012-09-03 09.56.27.jpg Op/ Post op 2012-09-03 11.09.21.jpg 2012-09-03 12.57.16.jpg 2012-09-03 11.33.39.jpg 9 Days post op 2012-09-14 17.09.20.jpg 1 month 2012-10-04 12.05.01.jpg 2012-10-04 12.05.12.jpg 2012-10-04 12.05.20-1.jpg 6 Weeks post op 2012-10-15 15.56.54.jpg 2012-10-15 15.56.59.jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.18 (1).jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.25.jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.34.jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.36.jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.42.jpg 2012-10-15 15.57.55.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.00.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.16.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.20.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.32-1.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.38.jpg 2012-10-15 15.58.34.jpg
  4. Hey Guys, So I went through with the procedure with Dr. Keser was really quite nervous just before and was seriously considering not going through with it at the 11th hour. How ever I had already paid the deposit and was in Turkey so what the hell. This is just a quick update I was really happy with the service of Dr. Keser and his team I just have to wait and see if his results are as good as I have been led to believe. I am going to post pictures and give a much more detailed account of my experience real soon. Just waiting for my huge elephant my head to go down a bit first. I have some horrendous swelling:eek:. Soon.
  5. Hey everybody! So I have been contemplating a hair transplant for a few years now to restore my receeding hairline. I am going back quite a bit at the temple point regions and it is really starting to annoy me having to constantly style my hair to cover these balding areas so I have decided to do something about it. I am 32 and I feel it is a little too young to admit defeat to the unrelenting deteriorating effect that age has on the body. So if I can hold it off for just a few more years maybe until I am 40 then what the hell I can shave my head get fat and accept my fate. But in the mean time with help from this forum and a few others I have decided to have the work done by Dr. Keser of dermaplast Turkey. I have seen nothing but good results from this surgeon and members of this forum seem to be a fan of his and it looks as though he ticks all the boxes when looking for a F.U.E doctor i.e he has created his own tools, He does the extractions and the placement of the grafts himself, he limits himself to a maximum number of grafts per day as too avoid fatigue, and from all the pics I have seen he seems to have a great eye for hair line design. I just hope he maintains the same quality when it comes to my procedure. So in september I am flying to Ankara to have around 1200 to 1400 grafts placed in my templte point areas, I know its not so many but I dont need my hairline lowered just the temple points filled to to give a more even hair line. I have been asured by his sales rep that Dr Kesers growth rate is around 95-100% and that his transection rate it around 1%. Again I hope these statistics hold true when I go for mine. I plan to continually update on this forum throughout my journey in the strange and sometimes frowned up on world of hair restoration and share my full experience both positive and negative. Thanks Japz. Just a question for any of you guys out there. I have a long hall flight 2 days after my precedure will this have any effect on the implanted grafts?
  6. Hi all I am serious considering a HT using FUE. As you can see from the pictures I am losing it at the temple areas and it's really starting to get to me. I have the money available for 1000 grafts however I have contacted Dr. Keser, BHT and a few other clinics and they have unanimously agreed that I would require around 2000 grafts to restore a decent hairline with good density. So my question is, is it worth me going for a 1000 grafts now, will that amount of grafts make a noticable difference to my hairline or will I end up being disapointed?or should waiting until I have the funds & do the 2000 grafts in one go? because from what I have gathered from these forums, the improvement of the hairline requires a large number of single hair grafts which would eat up alot of the grafts without a greatly noticable change. Please help me with advice, I really want to do something about my hairline A.S.A.P but I dont want to spend all that money and be disapointed with the results. Many thanks Japzuki Having trouble adding phots to this blog, but managed to upload them to an album on my profile page called "hair today gone tomorrow" please check it out and let me know what you think. here's the link: Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss and Transplant Photos cheers
