  1. I see definately improvement from month 6 to 8. Things can certainly continue to improve , thicken up to 18 months. Give it another 6 months before making a conclusion.
  2. HI sorry for the delayed response as I have been extremely busy and to be honest have tried not to think about my hair at all unlike the first op where I was constantly stressing about growth. I'm 4 months post op in a few days and so far all is ok. Things seem to be improving so it's positive. Of course this is still very early stages so we will see what future months will hold. I will get to posting pics soon.
  3. Absolutely no face swelling as this op we did not do intense hairline implanting like first op. The second op was just to densify first third and the rest was in mid and back so fluids drained in back this time
  4. Hi tomiislav , firsty congrats on ur procedure with dr b. I'm sure everything went very well. Secondly, I'm glad to hear u found my thread helpful . Today marks the 2 month mark for me. Healing was amazing as the first op and redness this time around was gone very quickly mainly since grafts were more spread out this time compared to first op where hairline was done with more grafts in front. Now is the waiting game for me and I'm hoping for some early growth
  5. If u look back at my post in my thread 1 month and 2 month post op from op 1 ( page 7 and 9) looking back now , man I still had some pretty big inflammation in recipient. Even month four still some, but month one and 2 big time. I'm wondering if I would hav used the shampoo to control and drastically reduce the inflammation if yield would have been better. Maybe. For sure it couldn't have hurt,
  6. I am also using rogaine on scalp which I started two weeks post op, something I did not do after op 1. And I ordered pilfood hair supplement pills which I know dr Lorenzo highly recommends his patients to use. I'm putting all chances on my side this time, I'm staying positive no negative thoughts this time and I'm confident I'll get good result,
  7. Dr b gave me 900 free grafts in op 2 to re densify and tough up areas of op 1 so I figure he felt I got about 70 percent yield. But really who knows. Did I get 60, did I get 80 who knows. Dr b stands by his work and gaurantees minimum 90 percent yield. We really don't know why the lower yield in op 1 as the op went extremely well . Dr b however wanted to do the biopsy to rule out any potential skin issue. As mentioned above my result came back that my scalp is compatible with lpp which causes inflammation and attacks follicles and kills them. Although I highly doubt I have lpp, dr b recommended the clobetasol shampoo to control inflammation. I have fair skin and although healing from op 1 was great, I Recall my scalp being red for a few months post op and definately likely had prolonged inflammation. Did this inflammation affect growth, had I taken the shampoo after first op would I have got better yield ,,,,who knows. What's done is Done and now just focusing on getting top yield for op 2. It will be interesting if yield is much better now that I will be using the shampoo. I will keep everyone posted.
  8. Thx I did first time today . Made my scalp feel great after just using once . Had I know this ahampoobj would have used it after my first op as well . I have fair skin and definitely prone to inflammation. I'm sure had I used it after op 1 for a few months post op to control inflammation I would have had better yield .
  9. Mikey thx so much for sharing your comments. It is definately reassuring. Question. Do u put the shampoo on dry or do u wet ur scalp first. The instructions say put on dry. Also, how long do u leave it on scalp. Dr b said 5 to 7 min. What do u do. Finally how much longer will u use the shampoo. Thx
  10. So I saw a dermatologist today and after inspection of my scalp advised that he does not see had slightest sign of lpp. He said that recipient has inflammation but that is normal since I am 3.5 weeks post op. I told him the result from my biopsy said my scalp is compatible with lpp. He said compatible does not mean I have lpp. He also said that since biopsy was taken from area of op 1 there is micro scarring and this can cause a false/inaccurate result. He said however that as a precaution and in order to get inflammation down he recommends clobetasol shampoo twice a week for 2 months after which he will re analyze my scalp. At that point if need be he will do a biopsy but he said again host he really doubted I gave lpp. He said the shampoo will reduce inflammation and this is good for growth of grafts. He said the shampoo has no negative affect on growth and that I can also use rogaine. All this is exactly what dr b told me . I bought shampoo today and starting it tomorrow.
  11. 3 weeks 2 days post op , almost no redness other than spot where biopsy was taken
  12. The shampoo is clobetas?l shampoo twice a week for 3 months and I have to leave on scalp for 5 min this is just precautionary since the result is actually inconclusive
  13. Hi guy , I never had any symptoms whatsoever . Not even the slightest itchiness or any of the symptoms that typically come with lpp .. visually also nothing whatsoever . I am seeing a dermatologist tmr
  14. so I got more details on the result and the result states that my scalp is compatible with LPP. it is inconclusive but dr b recommended I use a shampoo twice a week for 3 months as a precautionary measure.
