  1. I think Thehairupthere is right but there's always a risk. If you have the right doctor the scarring should (hopefully) be minimal even with shorter hair, but sometimes scars can be pretty big.
  2. Is the Minoxidil is working? If you've stopped receding stick to that.
  3. I'd rather have hair too... but I wouldn't mind shaving it all if I had the right head for it
  4. Wow this is pretty exciting for the future of hair restoration
  5. Good luck... looks like Dr. Mohmand is handling this well. I wish you the best.
  6. Sweet. This'll be a great way for you to keep track of your changes. Good luck!
  7. I know what you mean man, but doctors probably aren't gonna want to take those risks until the new technology is readily available.
  8. Six months does seem to be the standard time but I can see where you'd be frustrated. Hang in there!
  9. Nah. At the end of the day, he's still a prince and he knows he can get pretty much any woman he wants with or without hair.
  10. It looks like it could be thinning, but I would suggest monitoring it. It didn't catch your attention until now, so just pay attention to it and use those pictures as a basis for comparison.
  11. It does look like you are a good candidate for a HT. It looks like you have enough donor hair available to move. However, as stated earlier you should keep to the meds before making any decisions. Chances are that you will continue to lose follicles since you have been losing your hair for the last 10 years. Meds will help. Give us an update in a few months. Good luck!
  12. a lot of people get discouraged when they start to shed. It's just a step in the process. Great post Future_HT_Doc! I think you definitely cleared up and discrepancies here.
  13. i would be with the modern technology nowadays there has to be some improvement to the medication that is currently available. HT is an option, but it isn't the only option.

    W**k*r

i can't really make out the cuss word on his head. Did anyone track down what surgeon did this? This is insane.
  15. do you think Bosley would pay for your trip since they missed a stitch? I would say to be better safe than sorry with this. You don't want to mess up this procedure since you spent lots of money on it Keep us updated on your progress.
  16. does anyone know which dr he went to? Or before pics of Rogan? Norwood level? Obviously he wasn't on this site before he went out to find a dr. A little off topic, but I also noticed that athletes LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have receding hairlines.
  17. haha. great thread. I haven't had a ht yet, but I can imagine your excitement! Any updates?
  18. do you mind sharing with us your experience? It could be good to hear this from someone who has been through this process.
  19. its normal for some grafts to fall out during a shower. it seems that you are providing the correct care as your doctor said. You should be fine.
  20. Sorry buddy, for the ht you would likely have to be given meds. You are worried about taking meds, but not about cosmetic surgery?
  21. funny article. Chances are when people get serious about receiving a ht they will find this site and become informed about the actual procedure and how the media skews this.
  22. Not sure if this was mentioned before, but what about stress? Could that be the problem here?
  23. its hard to see your donor area for FUT. You may be a good candidate for this if you have a good donor area. Have you been taking any medications before? You said that you were not into them. Have you had a bad experience before? If you are looking to do this right, I would recommend a FUT
  24. It is really important extract as many grafts in the first session. This is very important. And matt, great call about the $$. This also needs to be taken into account (no pun intended). Each individual surgery is different so just because one person had 7k grafts removed doesn't mean you will. Great thread everyone!
