  1. Great post, Dr. Charles! Would it do harm if it was in the recipient area though?
  2. there is no way to tell if the medication worked for you with the head shaved. You gotta grow your hair. and with your hair really short FUT might be a problem because of the scar. If you got FUT, would you be growing your hair or keeping it short? Just curious. Good Luck!
  3. hey darren, everyone will have different results from this drug. Propecia is known to work for a lot of people and just because it doesnt work on someone else, doesn't mean that it won't work for you. Keep us updated with your progress.
  4. the doctor didn't give you a reason why you would get 'man-boobs?' If that is seriously the case, have you tried Minoxidil?
  5. There are actually some posts in the forum in which people have gone a year with numbness and they were giving up hope. I was finding a lot of information on here and I came across that posts...I can't remember whom it was though, sorry. Goldilocks, hypersensitivity is definitely a factor in numbness after a HT. Weather is a common factor of this with other surgeries. A friend of mine tore her ACL and every time it rains it gets really sensitive...so she says. Great thread! Any other thoughts?
  6. some of those are definitely tremendous results. As long as you keep taking it, you will be fine. As for the not so good results, is there another non-surgical option before discussing HT?
  7. Good post, Michael. I totally agree. Surprised Tiger Woods hasn't been discussed yet. Did he have a HT?
  8. You do certainly have time here. As recommended by a lot of other posts, start some sort of medication. You donor area does seem rather thin. It would be tough to relocate those follicles. Goood luck
  9. Thats why it is important to personally meet with the doctor to make absolutely sure that both of your goals are in line. That is all we can hope for. Pictures can be misleading, but you really get to feel out the doctor once you meet.
  10. Yes, pimples are certainly normal. Do you think the new DHT is the reason for the pimples? Since new "testosterone" is being placed in the scalp at a new place I would think that this wold have something to do with it, right?
