  1. If you want/need 3K grafts then FUE is probably not for you. The donor area can only be thinned so much. A strip scar can often be unnoticeable even with a #3 or #4 guard.
  2. Are you sure the sides are from Finasteride? If you were on it for six years with no sides perhaps the symptoms you are no experiencing are coming from elsewhere. Especially since you are no longer on the drug. But again, I often forget that Finasteride is an evil poison pill...
  3. Now that is some impressive concealer skillz! Yeah, definitely look into surgeons who consistently put out sessions of 3-4K grafts. Your next surgery is crucial and you should try as much area as possible.
  4. Ok, I see. I hope you are in good hands and again I can't wait to see you some pics.
  5. Yup, exactly. Wet the brush and apply to slightly damp hair. Spread over a larger area so it blends in better. Good luck!
  6. Dude, you are freakin' out about that?!? A lot of NW6's and NW7's here will be rolling there eyes at this. Maybe get a miniaturization test done and if there is any get started on propecia.
  7. trapps99, So you went to Good Look Ink? I'd definitely like to hear more information about your experience. There hasn't been many pictures posted here with micro-pigmentation so I am really looking forward to seeing your pics.
  8. Yes to the above advice. When I said you will continue to lose hair after a transplant I meant native hair - not hair taken from the permanent zone.
  9. If that is actually two months post-op he looks ahead of where he needs to be.
  10. We are both at six weeks aasyd. This is the worst of it. Hang tough!
  11. MGZ, You WILL continue to bald after a transplant. Hair loss is progressive. But propecia will help you keep the hair you have. So don't wait until after a surgery to start. Take it for at least a year before surgery, if not two in your case since you are so young. And don't psyche yourself into getting side effects. Many doctors state that the vast majority of patients who have side effects were the ones with the most anxiety about taking the drug in the first place. The mind can be very suggestive.
  12. Looks great Levrais! All the best healing and growing!
  13. I doubt sex would have made his new hair fall out. It would have shed a week after the procedure anyways like every other transplant. But again, this is Rooney we are talking about and God knows what kind of sex this guy is having....
  14. As for Rahal vs. Hasson - they are both great you can't go wrong with either of them. But they will probably be hesitant to transplant a 24 year old not on the meds. Sooooo... like I said, get on 'em. If they bother you then at least you know.. but I doubt they'll bother you. They'll likely thicken up your crown quite a bit.
  15. Jotronic is right. Propecia is not poison. That is ridiculous. I wish I got on it sooner. It did nothing to hurt my libido. At 24 you absolutely must give it a try for a year before doing any kind of transplants.
  16. Looks good! Dr. Simmons does great work. One more month of doldrums!
  17. You're in great hands. No worries one bit. Would love to see some pre-op & post-op pics! Have fun!
  18. I haven't had a chance to stick a densitometer in his mop but he's got a damn good head of hair.... Lucky bastard.
  19. No reason to doubt Nusbaum's work. I just don't like "best in the world" claims - about any doc for that matter.
  20. Bernard Nusbaum, best doctor in the world?!? Oh boy....
  21. The guy looks like Fabio now! I also like seeing HT's that stand the test of time (8 yrs post op!). Well done. Glad he ditched the glasses too.
