  1. That's a good timetable - one that I pretty much use. A lot of doctors give different timings. But go easy on the weights and crunches. If you feel your donor area throbbing then you will know you've gone too far.
  2. Flawless. I concur with haircut that I hate this patient.... in a good way of course.
  3. Interesting case. It appears his donor hair is even more healthy in the after pics. Do you think propecia may have strengthened the hairs in his permanent zone? If his donor area was thinned due to DHT then you would think it may have an impact there.
  4. I believe that's the placebo effect going on there Plunge.
  5. It wouldn't necessarily speed up your hair loss but you would experience "catch - up" loss - meaning would you lose all the hairs that had any benefit from propecia.
  6. Wow, since 1994 Stuart? That's impressive. Glad it has worked for you for so long. Hope it does the same for me.
  7. Yes, you can transplant FUE grafts in a donor scar. It's been done. Sometimes grafts have a harder time growing in scar tissue but I have seen some great results using this technique.
  8. The scar has healed spectacularly well. But man, you got some nasty shock loss around it. Don't worry, it'll come back in a few months. Comparing monthly pictures will certainly give you an idea of how you are coming along. So keep it up!
  9. Glad you got it worked out Vinny1980. Hope the meds work on the infection.
  10. Pretty much. There's been no reports of it... just speculation that not everyone agree's with.
  11. Don't worry. The hairs will shed. And unless you see blood the grafts are fine.
  12. A definite candidate. Stay on propecia and look into the top docs on this site. Research research research! You got some solid donor. Use it wisely.
  13. You're right, definitely not interchangeable... but when you get to that level it boils down to taste/aesthetics.
  14. Yeah, good call Hariri. Not Drew35. Very good looking result but not Drew.
  15. Quick question Joe: How much do you think the length of his hair (or any one's hair for that matter) contributes to the appearance of density? This guy had a very advanced pattern.
  16. The Fin and Minox are staples in any hair loss regimen. Also look into Nizarol shampoo. But be careful with the Dutasteride. Especially if you are doubling that up with Finasteride. Usually people take one or the other.... not both simultaneously.
  17. Dude, you are lucky to have as much hair as you do right now without fin. Get on that ASAP in my opinion and you won't regret it. Not only can it save your hair it can improve the quality of it. Don't let the side-effect fear-mongering get to you. Just a small dose can save a lot of hair. It will totally compliment the great HT you got from Dr. Paul.
  18. I dig Rahal's work but I must agree with Lorenzo these kind of polls mean nothing. I mean, it's apples and oranges. You can't compare professions like that. It makes just as much sense as saying "Steve Irwin was the Bosley of crocodile hunting". Just show me results and Rahal has done plenty of that.
  19. Looking good. Already an improvement at 5 months. Very early in the game too.
  20. And I was just about to start a new thread titled "When is it safe to dip your head in a bowl of acid post-op?"
  21. There are quite a few clinics that have done beard transplants. I'd do a search for them on the forums, also check out the galleries for all of the doctors.
  22. Three months - you are just getting started! Things look exactly where they should be at this point. The next few months will get fun. Happy growing!
