Hi All , I have undergone first HT with Dr Paul Shapiro two years ago Please find the details of the First procedure #of Garfts # of Hairs 1 Hair Fu's : 404 ---> 404 2 Hair Fus : 1592 ---> 3184 3 Hair Fu's: 563 ---> 1698 4 Hair Fu's : 83 ----> 332 ------------------------------------------ Total :2642 ----> 5609 Hairs ------------------------------------------------- Strip : 1.6 ( width ) X 22.5 ( lengh ) = 36 Cm2 Notes : All Incisions are saggital I am considering the second HT ; but I have to return to India and I need suggestions as to 1)which doctor to consider in INDIA 2) Is it ok that the 2 HT is done by a another Doctor 3) it is more preferable to get it done by the Paul shapiro Any help is greatly appreciated . hi I think the grafts used on the area seems to be right ; but the thing is you need to ask your doctor regards the grafts break down ,since you had 2000 grafts ; each graft might have 1 hair ,2 or 3 or 4 hairs .usually they take the 1 hair grafts to the hair line . i have seen some HT surgeons do the dense packing about 2000 grafts just for the hair line . The HT surgeon madhu Pathuri from hyderbad is the only one recommended on this forum ;

Hi aaron, yes It is interesting halo pattern :confused: ; but the inference is since there is already some native hairs and So the recommendation is to use meds ( Propecia and Rogaine ) and try to stop the further loss and go for a second procedure for the crown and the halo region. please let me know your comments .:cool: thanks

hi sammy usually doctors do not go beyond the safe zone ; so please specify the strip length and width and the number of grafts ; if not please ask the clinic to provide . also I had my HT last week with SMG paul shapiro for 2642 grafts with 70 hairs sq cm and strip is 1.6 ( width ) X 22.5 ( lengh ) = 36 Cm2 I presume you have had needed more grafts in one session so the doc would have .
