  1. Mavigo for only 6 months post-op already a huge difference. It will continue to improve over the next 6-9 months, keep us updated.
  2. Tkmonkey you have come along way, for only 8 month your hair is looking excellent with more improve to still come.
  3. LonelyGraft in the state of Illinois clinics are not required by law to have the doctor remove the graft, place the grafts or even make the surgical sites, but I original thought there had to be a doctor in the clinic when the surgery was being performed. I recently learned there are is a clinic in Illinois that does not even have a doctor/surgeon in the facility when a surgery is being done, not sure how they get away with it. In regards to Dr. Panine he is one of the few doctors that removes the grafts, make the surgical sites and places the grafts. On very large cases he will have only his main assistant help him place the grafts.
  4. RobertFUE I agree with you 100% that is why Dr. Panine is involved in the entire procedure. He extracts the grafts, makes the surgical sites and places the grafts. He has been doing Hair Transplants for over 26 years.
  5. jj51702- Thanks for the compliment on Dr. Panine's patients results. Dr. Panine uses a motorized hand held machine and the punch size used was .8mm. The patients best quality hair was in the occipital region. The patient is presently on Finasteride 1mg. All the grafts were done in one day. literalno and Triple7 thank for the nice comments.
  6. First the individual would need to meet with a doctor and let him know what his expectations are. If the doctor says that he has lost enough hair and his expectations can be met. Then the individual needs understand what is involved in the procedure and make sure all his questions have been answered. So then the right time would be to have it done when his hair loss bothers him enough and he is looking for a permanent solution.
  7. BBAD-BROS Thanks for posting your result, your hair is looking excellent for only 7 months. The density is good and IMO your hairline looks extremely natural. Being only 7 months it will continue to improve over the next several months. VicTNCY the main reason people are doing FUE procedures is to get away from having a linear scar on the back of the scalp.
  8. I would check am make sure your numbers are correct on the number of grafts. Here is a patient that is a class 5v after 2 sessions and about 6,300 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/189091-panine-md-chicago-hair-transplant-clinic-patient-results-after-2-procedures.html
  9. You are still in early stages of growth, the transplant hairs most likely have only been growing for about 3/4 months. Over the next 6-9 months the hairs will continue to mature and become more like the hair in the donor area. You will also continue to gain more density over that time too.
  10. Extremely informative and well put together video. Question - what size punch is Dr. Lorenzo using to extract the grafts?
  11. I would not suggest not picking the scabs. What you can do 5 days post op is to take some hair conditions and massage it on top of the scabs about 20 minutes prior to shampooing and this will help to soften up the scab and they will start to flake off. Repeat it every time prior to shampooing until they are all gone.
  12. Yes it is possible to add more density without damaging the pre existing transplanted grafts.
  13. a follicular units grow in groupings of 1,2,3 and occasionally 4hairs. There are always going to be more 1 hair grafts, then the next most will be 2 hairs, followed by less 3 hair groupings, with the least amount be 4 hair follicular units. It is all best to use the single hair grafts in the hairline and then follow up with 2 hair units right behind the single hairs. 3 and 4 hair follicular units should be used behind the 1 and 2 hair groupings and used more for density.
