Around November of 2009 i posted a bad experience i had with alan bauman. Many on this site have seen what alan bauman results look like. To my surprise 6 months later i received a private message from Bill stating he had a private phone conversation with alan bauman. In the message from Bill he accused me of using this website to extort money from alan bauman. I was shocked to say the least and ask for some proof of this extort. None was ever provided. Bill just advised me that anymore post by me on alan bauman would result in me being banned. I ask why this was not being discussed openly on my thread and no reason was provided. He became defensive and told me the subject was closed. He would never tell me what he and bauman discussed. I ask him to call me to hear my side of the story and he never did. If he was going to falsely accuse me of felony extortion the least he could do is speak to me first. I have NEVER been confronted by law enforcement about this so called extort. Because it's simply is NOT true. I merely ask bauman for a refund after being butcher with no results. I was not all that shocked that bill sided with bauman because i often see he sides with the doctors because they pay the bills on this site not the patients. But to falsely accuse me of a crime with ZERO proof was a shock to say the least!!!

I regretfully had a HT with larry shapiro in 2002. I see he is still working on patients with the same outdated techniques!!

I think thats a good idea. I live in south florida and you would not believe the number of butchered heads i see walking around here. I have never read a bad post op review on Dr Shapiro in Minnesota.

I dont know much about Dr Charles. I do know you must be willing to travel to get a good result with a HT. I have used 2 south florida doctors with absolutely terrible results. Now im stripped out. In my opinion choosing a doctor based on location is asking to be butchered!!!

Jay im very sorry about your experience with this doctor. Unfortunately south Florida is a haven for butcher cosmetic surgeons. I have lived in Miami for 12 years now and i have seen butcher jobs like you would not believe. I work at a hospital in Miami that does alot of repair work on patients that have been butcher in Broward and Palm beach counties. First and foremost you must be welling to travel to get a good Hairtransplant result. Choosing a surgeon based on local is asking to get butchered. Yes i know from experience. Please o please do at least 6 months of hard core research before going for repair work. Best wishes Carl Counts
