Raphael84
Firstly, thank you to the patient for providing the photos and for his permission to use his case and share his experience pictorially. The patient had previous surgeries and wanted to add density and more symmetry to the hairline whilst slightly lowering it.Dr. Bisanga was able to achieve these objectives with 1800 grafts, being able to lower and blend and work back through the previous work. The patient has experienced very fast and impressive growth so far and kindly provided photos at 7.5 months. We will continue to post as the result develops through to the 12 month period. Graft/Hair Breakdown:- 1s = 285 = 285 Hairs 2s = 479 = 952 Hairs 3s = 760 = 2280 Hairs 4s = 276 = 1104 HairsTotal - 1800 grafts / 4621 Hairs / 2.5 Average PRE-SURGERY PLACEMENT 3 Months Quote "Looking great already, gaps are closing and hair line is looking good" 5 Months Quote "DR.B work is really becoming noticeable now, the gaps filling and hair line lowering" 7 Months Quote "Assymetry had been put right and the gaps are improving all the time. Senior Member Curious25 Posted February 1, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 1, 2021 Really Amazing transformation already. Patient looks like he has favourable hair characteristics. Are you able to provide information RE. number of grafts previously used in the prior surgeries, and how many estimated grafts patient has left? In the pre ops - patient appeared to have low density throughout scalp, yet despite only 1800 grafts placed in the frontal zone, 7.5 months photo he appears to have achieved considerably more density all over - granted it’s only a front on photo, so may not reveal the full picture - is this correct, and if so, has the patient started treatment that has also improved the rest of his existing native hair ? Thankyou

Huncholini
Brilliant. Bisanga is an excellent surgeon. Seems like many grafts were concentrated on the hair line. Can we also see photos from above?

Raphael84
Thank you for your comments. In response to the questions - The patient had 4 previous surgeries for a total of approximately 6500 grafts and used finasteride pre surgery, which he has continued with. As with any hair restoration surgery, placing density will not achieve original density and when hair is at this length (pre surgery photos) it will expose weakness. This is where artistry and illusion with efficient angles and overall approach will make a significant difference to visual fullness. When the patients hair is longer, it looked somewhat fuller regardless, but he felt that "lack of" density in the frontal area especially when looking face on. As with most patients, growing some length post surgery will assist in visual fullness. We have only shared frontal photos as this was the specific area that Dr. Bisanga worked within, but I will request some top shots from the patient also to represent his current situation, and share them with you also. Senior Member Sean Posted February 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 8, 2021 What a great repair here. Dr Bisanga is better then most other repair surgeons it seems. Especially, looking at this result. He utilized minimal grafts. At first I thought it read 18,000 grafts, but it only was 1,800 grafts. Great work. Patient is happy and that is key. I wish I can enjoy life like this one day.

Raphael84
To present an update that the patient has kindly provided showing photos at 10 month post surgery. As you can see, the last 2.5 months have shown further improvement as his hair continues to settle, and shows just how natural and undetectable his result is.The patient has also reiterated his satisfaction with the outcome. 1 Patient Advisor for Dr. Bisanga - BHR Clinic ian@bhrclinic.com - BHR YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcH4PY1OxoYFwSDKzAkZRww I am not a medical professional and my words should not be taken as medical advice.
