This is really solid for roughly 8 and a half months. Even though you let your hair fall over your forehead, having had it lowered makes a big difference as to how that frames your face.

Congrats!!

8 month update (1 week and 2 days late). Generally quite good bar one or two minor discrepancies. Blends naturally. Weaknesses can be seen when examined under certain lighting but this is probably the norm with transplants and it doesn't bother me too much.

Hair is brushed forward with a fine comb in some pics and in others it is just styled the way I often styled it. I'll put wet hair pics and slicked back pics and pics with hair in different styles and lights on another occasion.

Superb. Really liking that result! Didn't notice if you said you are on medication or not...?

Thanks everybody :) I'd say it might be nearly finished now but who knows might even mature a bit more.

I am actually on meds yes, I have been on fin (1.25mg most days) since July 2020, and I also started Rogaine foam in January 2021.

Definitely think it will continue to improve 👌

9 months. New style. Wearing gel in the hair here. These photos really show the discrepancy between the temporal peaks and the native hair. Its a discrepancy that can be noticed when the hair is buzzed very short around the sides. Under certain lights its not so obvious though, and most people wouldn't really notice it unless they were looking for it.

How he planed the procedure of yours. He told you what should be consider on the future ?

He just gave me an "age appropriate" hair line. He transplanted new hairs into the thinning/bald spots. He used 2,040 grafts so I have enough hair left in the bank for about 3 more procedures if I need them in the future...

@Rossybop anymore updates? looks like its been almost 2 months since an update.

If not, I consider your lack of response to mean you are completely happy with the HT, no longer think about hair loss, and have no further need for this forum and have moved on with your life (which is the best outcome one can hope for really 😀)

12+ months. This will probably be my last post. I will now bow out of this forum because my hair transplant problem has been resolved for the time being, and fingers crossed I will not have to worry about it again for at least a good few years.

I have been on finasteride (1.25mg) most days for 1 year and 5 months, and I have been on Regaine 1 - 2 times per day for 11 months. I will probs drop my Regaine usage to once per day.

I had my transplant on 10th December 2020. I am now 31 years old.

These pics show how I generally style my hair (flat down or quiffed to the side), although I sometimes brush it upwards. I have reasonably good styling options with my hair. Some pics show wet hair. When scrutinised under certain lights and certain conditions a trained eye would notice that the hair is less dense and that it has been transplanted, but generally the hair blends well and the naked eye would not notice anything strange.

Good luck, happy Xmas and happy new year everyone, and good luck with all things hair related. You have all been amazing :)
