I have just had around 1500 grafts with Couto, your thread is making me so glad I took that decision, what he's done with you with such minimal grafts is so awesome!

off topic: how long was the waiting list?

Looks amazing. I remember a consult with Erodogan years ago and the clinic wanted to load me up with an insane number of grafts. Almost twice what other European surgeons were willing to do. Was a big red flag for me.

Thank you. Yes. The huge number of grafts estimated by Dr. Erdogan should have put me off. But I was stupid and agreed. In addition, a large number of grafts died and the Asmed clinic behaved absolutely unethically.

Hello @miko

im reading your report only now

couto can confirm that asmed extract from u 4500uf?

Hello. Most of the doctors I spoke with confirmed that too many grafts were taken for the required area and that many other hairs were destroyed during unprofessional harvesting at Asmed clinic. Dr. Couto didn't say how many grafts were taken but he said that my donor area was destroyed and almost exhausted.

Hello,

sorry, but I don´t understand your question. But I don´t recommend you to go to Turkey for HT. And not at all to the hair mill.

OK 🙂 Dr. Couto is not only one HT doctor in Spain, but in my opinion the best, not only in Spain. But Dr. De Freitas is also very good. But he is in Valencia.

Thanks ! I’ve been doing my research either in Spain or Turkey for HT

Same place, same person (me), different result. First picture: unnatural hairline with lack density after my failed HT with Dr. Koray Erdogan at Asmed clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. Second picture: natural hairline with good density after my repair HT with Dr. Juan Couto at Fuexpert clinic in Madrid, Spain. This is the difference between bad doctor/clinic and good doctor/clinic.

in your opinion what are the reasons for the failure of asmed

Not only in my opinion, but also in the opinion of several surgeons with whom I spoke, the reason for my poor result from the Asmed clinic was that only minumum grafts survived, because of very long time between extraction and implantation and because of unexperienced "nurses".

I do not know. I'm just saying what I was told by several doctors during my consultations before the HT repair. In my personal opinion, the reason is the inexperienced "nurses"  at Asmed. I'm afraid that at Asmed clinic, "nurses" are trained on patients and then it looks like this.
