Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 2, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 2, 2018 Hitherehair- I see what you mean its because some of the hair is starting to flop down on the right side (left from pic) and makes the other side look off, trust me in person it's not noticeable and looks natural yeah super pumped about the density!! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Senior Member HG1 Posted June 2, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted June 2, 2018 Hi Luke, Looking good I’m very pleased for you. The density looks to be improving and hopefully will continue to do so. I’m a few weeks ahead of you post Op time wise and I’ve noticed my density in the last week seems to have improved after being slow and steady for the previous couple of months. You must be very happy so far. 5024 grafts with Asmed Clinic. nzmmalik
Hi Luke, After viewing your results, I am also planning to get hair transplant done. Below are few of my concerns if you could help me : 1. How do we go about maintaining after transplant is done? Do we need to use any type of medicines like minoxidil, finasteride etc? 2. Do we lose our hair which was previously there? 3. Do we have swelling and how long will it last ? 4. Is it painful procedure ? If yes, how long will the pain last for? 5. 2nd week can I go to office after the HT? Looking forward to your support so that I can move forward with the same. Regards Nazim
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 4, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi Nazim, Welcome to the forum it looks like! What stage are you regarding your hair loss? 1. That is up to debate, some people (Myself included) don't want to add additional chemicals into the body, so we take a more holistic approach with Saw Palmetto instead of Fin. The transplanted hair itself will grow naturally. 2. Sometimes yes, what you're referring to is know as shock loss. Some people have it, others dont. 3. Swelling yes, the majority of my swelling went down after about 10 days. I still had some leading up to 30. 4. Yes and no. The most painful part was the anesthetic, 30-50 shots in the head was painful to numb the nerves, during the procedure felt like a head massage. I had pain in the recipient area for about 30 days maybe a little more. Nothing crazy but irritating. 5. I went back to work about 3 days after the op, but didnt look amazing. Just I have great coworkers who are not judgemental. Depends on how you feel. 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
nzmmalik
Hi Luke, Thank you for the great information. I have still not lost much hair on the crown area. It is just the front portion. Do you think I should just get PRP session for now. Will it be effective ? Regards Nazim
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 4, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi Nazim, I had PRP but perhaps your best bet would be to consult with at least 3 doctors (recommended ones here first) and get their input. Are you just in the start of your hair transplant research or have you been looking for a while? This website has tons of forums and threads with ALOT of incredible information to browse through. 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
Regular Member wjc1979 Posted June 4, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi Luke. Did the doc cut the channels himself and let the technicians do the rest? I've had two quotes from his assistant - approx 2090euros where the techs do all the work and 2590 euros where the doctor cuts the channels. How much of a difference do you think it makes?
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 4, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi Wjc, The doctor did mine. I'm not sure how much difference it makes, there are a lot of variables to be considered such as - how many has the tech done in the past? How often does the doctor do it? Is it a new tech? etc.... The Doctor did mine channels and extraction, I didn't know until recently when someone else mentioned it that the techs do it on some people as that option wasn't presented to me at the time of booking nor during my appointment. Also I've attached some photos from today (excuse the tired eyes...it was the birthday weekend, and def playing catch up from all the activities!) I am now about 5 months + 3 weeks since the op and decided to go get my first cut from my barber since Nov! He was amazed how it looked, especially from his past experience with my hair. We decided to fade it from a 1 at the bottom into a 2 and then leave the top to grow. I think it looks great and unless you're at the perfect angle you can not notice the extraction site! Hair is getting thicker in the hairline too, just noticed a few single hairs sprouting through last night! There is still a lot to be filled in just behind the hairline and in the temples, but I am beyond excited about my progress so far, fingers crossed that I have even more growth coming soon! But the comparison from pre-transplant to now is insanely different! Keep you all posted for 6 month mark June 13th!! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 6, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 6, 2018 Hey John! How is yours coming along? Nope no products only water and some shaving foam to neaten the edges around the temples and ears, I am trying to keep it as clean/natural as possible whilst the hairs are still maturing. 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Senior Member Markee Posted June 11, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2018 (edited) Nice job looking good the density in your pictures at only 5 months really pops out at ya can only imagine how much better its going to look at 10 months Anyways I'm considering Cinik already sent him my pictures dealing with his assistant zlem Menteş ? Now I'm trying to search out as much info and past reviews as I can on the guy. Unless I'm missing something his site seems to have very limited results pictures could you please hook me up with some of those other forums that you say hes well represented at tuff time making up my mind on this Edited June 11, 2018 by Markee
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 11, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2018 Hi Markee, So far I'm very happy, there a few areas that seem to be lagging behind, but I'm hoping that it's just early days and the hairs are still coming through! It'll be 6 months in 2 days so I'll post some photos then as an update In regards to the other forums, I don't think I mention on the site but if you Google italian hair loss forums and dr Cinik forum the results pop up there. There are a few threads on this site too. No his actual site doesn't have the most pictures to go through. Hope that helps man!! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted June 12, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 12, 2018 6 months is here! (Officially by physical day count) wow has the time blown by so quickly! It's insane to think how much has changed in the past few months! Attached are some photos of my hair so far- dry, wet, and close up. You'll see in the close up that there are some areas that are still pending density but I have high hopes that they will be coming through soon! But in comparison to where I was to now, it's completely different! I've slacked on taking my saw palmetto and multi vitamins pills the last few weeks but plan on taking them again soon. Looking forward to the next few months and hopefully even more density in the areas that are a little behind. But My hairline has certainly thickened up even more so! Onwards and upwards hair! I want to start styling you soon!! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
Senior Member HG1 Posted June 13, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted June 13, 2018 Hi Luke, Six months, wow  I remember reading your first post - the time has flown. Although I'm a few weeks ahead of you timewise, I think we are at a similar stage. I have similar less dense areas also, when looking closely - thinner new hairs are present though. I've read many posts where things slow down after the 4 to 6 month surge, then pick up again around months 8 to 10. There has been a lot of talk recently about natural hairlines with single hair grafts. Have you found any multiple grafts on the hairline? Anyway your hair looks fabulous, I'm convinced we will both have great end results. Hope your progress continues and look forward to your 7 month update 5024 grafts with Asmed Clinic.
