Dr. Feller and Dr. Bloxham perform FUE in NY. I watched them do it with my own eyes on the day of my procedure on another patient. I know they don't recommend big surgeries with FUE so don't know if they will do 2,500 grafts for you. I chose to have an FUT after they explained the differences

Who do you guys think the best FUE docs are in the US Im considering getting around 2500 grafts, Is it better to go to a strictly FUE clinic or is it safe to go to an FUT doc that also offers fue?

There are too many types of cases and patients with distinguished goals that exist. I'd like to mention that versatility is probably the biggest determinant in voting who's artistry is superior. Some of the docs use the absolute latest cutting-edge technology as well. What's your criteria and predicament?

My opinions are my own. I am one representative of MyWHTC Clinic's European branch.

I typically do not promote Dr. Vories directly but it's hard not to in this particular thread. I've had two FUE procedures. The first was in 2012. You can see all of my before/after photos throughout the past four years at MyFUEhairtransplant.com

The existing of any specialist in your residential area is a plus point you don't need to go outside.

What a good point ! I know that my Dry Cleaner recent bought an ARTAS that he installed next to his Steam Press and he's really, really close to me (and he does such great work on my shirts!) so I guess I'll go there for a procedure seeing as he must be a specialist (to buy a machine) and is close. I can probably get in later today when I drop off my suit in fact. Win win.

I'm serious.  Just look at my face.

I normally won't outright promote my Doctor either, but if you're gonna ask I feel obligated to tell.

Dr. Mohebi changed my life. I can never be grateful enough. As someone who started losing his hair since early 20s (and living in Los Angeles) I truly get it how crucial looks are. I did way too much due diligence, but happy I did.

I'd just say feel free to research him yourself as well as the other Doctors mentioned, but warning** if you end up doing a consultation with him you'll end up choosing him. lol When you meet him you just get the feeling you can trust the guy with your life. haha

Richter101 is a former patient of Dr. Parsa Mohebi

Born Oct ’89

Began Seeing Gradual Hair Loss Oct ’09

Began Seeing Gradual Hair Gain June ’15

Planning HT #2 By End of This Year :)

richter101 I would not feel funny promoting my doctor if I had the surgery and I was happy. I'm a bit jealous because you did it already and are on the other side of it. I know I'm going to do one but have to pick the right doctor and then actually go through with it. It's time now, though. Time to get the hair back.

Do your homework and choose the doctor you are most comfortable with. Many of us have had great results from talented doctors. If you're going to spend thousands $$$ on new hair, be willing to add a bit more money and travel to a reputable doctor who you feel most comfortable with.

I can only think of one rep who I've never seen push his very own Doctor (on this forum). Ironically, this Doctor is also considered by many to be the very best out there.

The best at FUE in the U.S.? This is very subjective and as this thread has indicated, the waters are shark infested by paid representatives. No offense intended. ;p

I like the following Doctors a lot:

Dr. Konior

Dr. Gabel

Dr. Ron Shapiro

Cheers.

In my opinion, the best doctors have extensive video documentation and real online reviews that are unbiased. I'm not one to promote any particular doctor, truly the research is up to you, I can tell you what I did to narrow down my search, I combed through various forums looking for unbiased real patient reviews good and bad, and most importantly I looked for video documentation of the particular doctors before and after. Speaking to real patients is a big help too, because you're able to gain real information, they tell you the good and the bad, trust me there is always a good and bad to every doctor even the most highly regarded.

Without a doubt, Dr. Lorenzo in my opinion has the best video documentation out there, does that mean he's the best? personally I think there was a time when he was the best, but I believe his practice has adopted a tech extraction model which i just don't believe in. I'm not saying you won't achieve good results but I think ultimately I would have more peace of mind having the doctor scoring the grafts. Especially because as patient's were not privy to the training and the experience these techs have, essentially you're paying for a brand, albeit the brand has a reputation, but nevertheless the most critical aspects of the surgery is being performed by someone you have zero information about. I don't want to offend anyone this is just my opinion and my belief, like I said this does not mean you won't get a spectacular result going to tech based clinics.
