  1. I'd say upwards of 5,000 and would recommend 2 FUE procedures. And moving forward to buzz the sides and back of your head. If you decide to invest in that route do heavy research on Docs to guarantee effectiveness. I personally had 2200 first time and will be going back for 2nd procedure with same Doc so it worked out very well. :-)
  2. I'm West Coast, but being that this is may be one the biggest investments you make in your life (was for me) I'd have to recommend who I went with Dr. Mohebi. I think the $400 round trip plane ticket is well worth the investment and considering it's Los Angeles, you won't be bored.
  3. 2200 was done. And yea, that's 1 thing I love about them they're genuine and of course you'll get great results but you feel super comfortable too. ps- sorry for late reply..
  4. If you're getting a small section, easy to get to, seems fine. But I'd go for every advantage you can score.. I was aiming for over 2k grafts and hit 2200. Even though my Doc was the best something tells me wouldn't of as a stellar job if it wasn't shaved.
  5. Did a little research, overall pretty solid list, but if you're aiming for USA! I have to be shameless and recommend the Doc I went with because my I'm beyond grateful for my experience and results. *Drum Roll*....... Dr. Mohebi
  6. I'm sure the scar with diminish but I'm not sure why you didn't go with FUE to be certain. I know it's a little more but the whole point of this investment was to protect your image... I had 2200 grafts via FUE no prob, I would've jumped for the chance if I'd only needed 1600.
  7. I think the question is more so how long/ often to wash your after a transplant anyways? In general, I've washed my hair way less since being conscious of my MPB. And if I recall, I waited a week just to gently wash my hair after I had my transplant. But consult a few Docs to be sure!
  8. For shorter hair styles, I highly recommend getting a fade (like at 1 or .5) and trim the top. The reason being is because if you're not completely full yet on the top then you wouldn't want your sides to be longer than your top! Here's a link for reference: BAM!
  9. I think that combination of things besides FUE and Propecia may or may not contribute to 1-5% range of effectiveness. Just doesn't seem like a good ROI for all the additional time and money you'll commit. I stick with the 2 I named and well.. Best Investment Ever.
  10. In my unprofessional opinion it doesn't sound realistic, but I'd consult a Doctor on this one.
  11. Yes. Please post link, I'd love to read further into this :-)
  12. If you wanna take a trip to US. I'd suggest Dr. Mohebi in LA, certainly wouldn't be a boring place to hang. And the offer finance options! Good luck.
  13. It was just "noticeable" for a few days with me, so that's what I'd predict. Well with a good surgeon.. After that, YOU can slightly notice, but no one else will. Beauty of FUE :-)
  14. Hey Bro, I'm not Asian but I'm 27 and love anime! So I did FUE surgery in Los Angeles with Dr. Mohebi. Did a full year of researching in advance. The results have been phenomenal.
