Brockstar, your hair diameter is very good (i.e. Thick) is it not? Looks like your hair is very very coarse. THE biggest asset in awesome HT results in my opinion, second only to choosing the right doc

3185 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 2/17/16

Outstanding for just 5 months, you seem to be a early grower.

your hairline is awesome, nice haircut to compliment the HT & not sure if all the grafts has popped but definitely more maturing will come which will make this a home run for you & Dr Vories.

question though how long did you wait before you started rogain/Min?

Did you find it speeded up the process in anyway?

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! It really means a lot.

I have extremely coarse hair... borderline with horse hair. I use to hate it because my hair would never lay flat but, I guess its a good thing now.

I still see a few new sprouts here and there when I separate the hair.

Ive been using rogaine for 7-8 years. Ive never seen any new regrowth with it but, it has become so much of my routine just like brushing my teeth that I figure I might as well keep at it. Maybe its helping retain some native hair. Although now it is a little more difficult to apply to the areas where the native hair is vs where the transplanted hair is.

I wait 1 month and started applying it once a day at night. It cause more redness and because I was shaving my head down on a weekly basis it was really noticeable. I stopped applying until the hair started coming in between month three and four. Now im back to twice a day.

Immediately after surgery on started fin. A very small dose. I cut the 1.25 mg tablets into 4ths and took everyother day. Even at that small dosage I started getting sides after awhile. I stuck with it until month 4 and tossed them. After stopping fin it definitely through my hormones all out of whack for awhile. That was my second time trying it in the passed 8 years. Im done with it.

Today is my 6th month update. the first couple of pictures are from straight out of the shower. No showering or combing. The implanted hair does kind of naturally do a flock of seagulls thing on its own. The second set is with some pomade. Still stoked with my results!

Wow incredible dude, I remember you way back when, looks like you’ve grown an epic beard too. Thanks for sharing, goes to show hair transplant do last more than a year like some think.
