Looking really good Squatch, I know exactly how you feel, like yourself I had great thick hair all throughout my 20's, it's a great feeling to be getting some back, never threw away my gels, clay etc just in case lol, to hell with sell by dates.

I will be 6 months in a couple of weeks and will update with some news pics.

Happy growing!

Here are my pictures at six months. No concealers. I did have a haircut last week that was shaved down to a #3 guard which is short. I tried to get a picture of the scar but it was to hard to find it with me taking my own pictures. I did get rid of the gray in my hair with the repeated request of my wife. I think in another couple months it will fill in even better. I have not needed any concealers as of late. Very happy with the outcome. The best money I have spent in my life!:)

Squatch, you look soooo much younger! Congrats on a great outcome. Very natural hairline and you are gutsy with the short hair in the back, but I see no sign of the scar in the photos. I agree, this is money well spent with the right Dr.

Squatch that is awesome. I bet you are feeling good.

2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.

Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Just got done with a 3800 FUT from Dr. Konior. In talking to him, he mentioned that back in the day he showed Dr. Gabel a lot of his methodology and how he did things. Dr. Konior also said he'd let Dr. Gabel work on his scalp. I can't think of much higher praise than that.

Both seem to have similar results. I know they authored a Hair Restoration book together. I believe it is available at Amazon.

Here are some 7.5 month updates. Been busy as of late. These pictures are taken with a soft flash. I didn't have time to set up proper lighting.

I had a haircut a week earlier and shaved it with a #2. Ya I pushed it just a bit. I could see just a bit of the scar on the right side. A little Durmatch covered it nicely. Should have known better this early to push my luck.;)

My hairline up front is awsome as far as I'm concerned. Towards the top of my crown it is thinner which I knew from the start as we tapered the grafts off. I have to strategically comb my hair to hide scalp show-through. My skin gets rather dark from a little sun but.... I have kept the scalp covered this year. Next year a little sun may help hide the white scalp. I also hope a little more maturing and getting on fin can't hurt. If I ever need a few more grafts in the crown area, I would have no problem using Dr. Gabel again.

Been on Fin for a month now and notice no issues. Trust me I tested it!:D

This has been a fun year getting rid of that damned hat!:P

Look at that pile o' new hair. Looking good. As as long, long time fin user, I can attest (at least for me) the areas where you feel thin (e.g. top of crown) are very well served with the fin/minox combo. I had a virtual bald area on the top of my crown and the combo literally eliminated it. Going on ten plus years now....

Great! ;) I'm using Minoxidil once a day now.

Stick with it. You already fixed 95% of the dome, with your success, I'm guessing those meds will take care of the last 5% in a few months time. Please keep us updated.
