  1. Normally, with fue it's virtually undetectable after a week or so - but considering you already have a scar, and fue requires shaving, you must conceal this scar by growing your hair out again - which can take months depending on it's quality. Why fue? You already have a scar. You might as well use up your strip donor before moving onto fue, it's cheaper, and you can find yourself a doctor who does not require shaving - if your hair is long enough, and with some clever styling, you shouldn't need more than a week off work. It's also more expensive, in general gives not as good results, and not all clinics can do more than 1500ish grafts.
  2. Perhaps the results aren't good enough. Perhaps you prefer the buzz-look but the strip scar is too obvious. Lastly, you may be forced to buzz down because you have become a NW7, and not enough grafts left.
  3. It depends. Are we talking strip? Are you targeting a virgin part of the scalp, or adding density to the previous procedure? You can fue into different areas the very next day. If you are adding density to your previous procedure, atleast 12 months regardless of fue or strip. If you are targeting a new area with your strip i'd say 6 months.
  4. I believe it's general consensus that around 1500-2500 grafts can be harvested via fue after strip is no longer an option.
  5. I haven't heard these negativities about umar before. Someone wanting to clarify?
  6. Hi. Considering where you came from, fantastic result. Are you planning on getting more grafts into the crown?
  7. Difficult to say as it depends on the donor. But i think the general consensus is 2k-3k after you've maxed out from strip (6-11k) Density should be the same as strip, asuming the yield is the same, which it isn't always.
  8. Amazing Coverage for just 2.5k grafts. I have reason to suspect that the color of his hair is really helping with the scalp to hair contrast, making it appear thicker than it really is. I know it helped myself when i turned blonde..
  9. Thanks for sharing your experience DonKing. It was a pleasure to read... Keep us updated as often as you like
  10. You should go for this instead!
  11. It's a possibility. I got a full sleeve, a full chest piece and a quater of my back fully inked, so if i at some point was to hide my scar with a tattoo that wouldn't be too much of an issue. Depends on how i feel at that point... otherwise, theres always fue..
  12. Let's face it.. Pat in his 40's Bill in his 30's Thana in his 20's Makes perfect sense to me
  13. I agree. So far Dr. Madhu has shown really good work and he deserves to be recommended.
  14. Im sorry, are you judging your HT at 4!!!!! months???? Most people barely get any growth at that time, and is it possible that the 'scar' could be donor shockloss? You need to take the time to educate yourself in the field of HT, in hindsight you should have done it before. Hopefully no one will listen to your nonsense of a failed HT at 4!!! freaking months.. And show us the scar, please.
  15. You need to be more consistent with your photos - the preop is clearly in a different lighting and the scalp is overexponated in the preop, creating false results.
  16. You guys are laying out the bucks! i got 150 pills of 5 mg generic for 20$..
  17. You dont make mistakes like that. The only way to 'make' that mistake is to intentionally copy the source code from someone elses website. That would have to be a serious miscommunication i've never heard of, for that to happen legitimately.
  18. I think you should ask yourself the question: If a doctor is stealing website material from someone else: 1) Why is he hiding his own results 2) How good is his patient care 3) Is he just in it for the money 4) Should i be doing this
  19. If i remember correctly, Chaudry was one of those who were involved in stealing website material from a coalition doctor. Also: "Never performed a mega FUE surgery for 2500 plus grafts and performed only one FUE surgery a month." http://hair-restoration-info.c...=109103424#109103424 Also, Mohmand is known for doing up to 4 surgeries a day according to him, which is probably the highest you will see in the coalition. This isn't nessesarily a good thing by the way.
  20. Then again, if i remember correctly, this is not the first time LMS is out with the flamestick as soon as a coalition doctor hits a less than average result (we don't know that yet, he COULD just be a slow grower) LMS, you really should listen to Bill and reevaluate yourself and stop fighting the wrong people. NOBODY can make 100% satisfying results 100% of the time, even H&W, but on the other hand Dr. A and many of his patients have shown us good enough results that he is in the coalition. If there was to say 5 patients quickly in a row having this problem, then Dr. A would have to be investigated, but guess what that never happens - and the answer is that TTP's results probably just happen to be one of the few below average results we see - in which case i have total confidence in Dr. A to help this patient to either get the result he wants, or a monetary reimburse. Even the patient himself does not hold Dr. A as a scapegoat, so why should you? Does it mean that we have to blindly accept everything we see from the coalition? No, and we don't, but we must also face the facts and there are almost always two sides of the same story. Yes, it has happened that a doctor has been removed from the coalition due to poor results but this is a minority. I trust the coalition and moreso, trust those who screen those for the coalition. So should you, and spend your energy on Armani, Bosley etc. Just my 2c.
  21. That's actually a good question. If the scar is irrelevant to the patient, can the doctor make a new one and extract more grafts?
  22. Dr. Alexander I very much appreciate those posts, those patients are exactly what i'm looking for. They look great, by the way!
  23. Mate You still have a very strong hairline, so don't sweat it. If you feel like it though, you could comb your hairline slightly forward like i have, it hides most flaws and actually looks better imo. #1 turnoff in women is a man who is selfconcious about himself and doesn't like what he sees. Also, our worst judges are ourselves. I mean if you had your old hairline she would notice, but your new one is close enough to being natural that, if you don't bring it up, she won't secondguess it.
