  1. That's eerie.. your hair looks exactly like mine on the first and second pic. Same color, recession, length and hairline density. Yikes!
  2. Rome We discussed this in private, but I believe that one reason may be because of Mohmands '2 surgeries' philosophy. For this reason, it's possible that he doesn't densepack as much as others, but rather goes for coverage on #1, and density on #2. Just a theory.
  3. Well done. The result looks natural. Unfortunately however, it seems that the patient might need a 2nd pass for more density.
  4. Amazing. At first I saw his hairline and I was like... how did he put 6k there? But then I saw his crown. Awesome result.
  5. Bill Great. Not that they were fired, I feel that this might have been a bit harsh (but this is mohmands decision) but that the truth is out. Transparency is the most important aspect of this community, and kudos to Mohmand for admitting that it happened, to me that's a sign of good character and worthy of my respect.
  6. Hi Bill It's on behalf of someone else. He wanted anonymity, but I'll try and see if he wants to chime in... I also already emailed Shahid about it, I felt that this would only be fair.
  7. Campbell. Find a doctor on this site that's either recommended or in the coalition. Not only are they often cheaper than the outrageous prices of some volume clinics, they are carefully screened and have their online reputation to care for on this site. If money is a big issue, I can tell you that it's possible to go to Pakistan to have 3000 grafts done for less than $3500 including travel by a top doc.
  8. First of all, I believe that when a patient experiences an incident when at the doc, these should be brought out in the open so that everyone can see both sides of the story. Such is my conviction, and one of the reasons I believe in this website. Being recommended or in the coalition on this site is both an honour, but also a privilege. I also believe that while a Dr. is not personally responsible for the actions of his techs, he is liable to any consequences they might have. Since my HT with Mohmand on 12th of April, I've been in contact with several people that are either planning on going to Pakistan, or have just been there. One person that was there a few weeks before me told me something that I felt a bit disturbed about. After my reply... I understand the temptation to lure money out of 'wealthy' tourists, but this isn't acceptable behaviour. I was there a few weeks later and encountered no problem myself, so I'm guessing it's not her(Farad's) standard, still such a thing is completely inappropriate, and could damage the doctors reputation. I have emailed Shahid about it, so let's see what happens..
  9. All people get wrinkles and it DOES seem to bother many people... This seems to be another social stigma associated with being 'old' If everyone was born with wrinkles, nobody would care.
  10. Very few people start to show signs of balding at age 16. Personally, I'd take pictures and compare them once every year until you turn 20. My bet is that there's no male pattern baldness going on yet..
  11. I am 23 now, turning 24 soon. No post ops, as I had to leave for a flight the next day. But rest asured it looks like any other hairline graft post op. Good idea with the blog. I'll personally be updating around month 5 or whenever I see reasonable growth..
  12. I had it from the first night. I think it can be attributed to the fact that I didn't shave my head this time so my hair, which is quiet long, acted as a 'pillow'. This was for my 3rd, for the other two I shaved and both were a pain for a full week..
  13. Eh... if you're looking at pic #1 and 3 his forehead looks very moist. But perhaps the OP can clarify..
  14. He has a sweaty forehead, so any protrusion would reflect light, causing the illusion of whiteness
  15. I think it's more likely a patient on the payroll, but this is just conjecture and my personal speculation.
  16. joered, didn't we already establish that you were a legitimate bauman patient and thus this thread has little to do with you. You just came at a rather inconvenient time, so to speak..
  17. Any hair gained and maintained from medicine WILL eventually be lost upon termination of use. I use it once a day, otherwise it irritates my scalp. Minox has a half life of like 16 hours I think? So it should be 'fine'.
  18. I would agree, unless that patient had fue and is going for the buzz. However, there are some patients where true density NW2 hairline is possible. For example, londonlad, but he is an exception considering his age and level of loss. E-man is another example.
  19. Holy.. that looks like a warzone. I hope nothing bad comes of it. Happy growth.
  20. Awesome! Good thing that you were able to get over 5k grafts, 3k would not have given you a sufficient result and you would have required a 2nd pass. 5k Should keep you well 'stuffed', gl happy growth.
