  1. Thanks for the replies. How many grafts, on average, is needed for lets say, a normal scar that you want to buzz to 5-10 mm.
  2. A question popped up in my mind just minutes ago. Lets say that you have had a strip procedure, but for some reason you decide that you want to sport a buzz - so you look into options to fue the scar - you have it done, it doesnt look perfect but it works. Now lets say that you experience future hairloss, and decide to go for another strip. The question: Will the grafts used to fue the scar be wasted? The way i see it, when the doctor harvests the old scar, he can extract grafts from that scar just like the new strip. So, in theory, asuming that growth yield is 100%, fue'ing into a scar, followed by another strip does not waste anything besides money? I know, yield is never 100%, especially if you do it twice with the same graft, but roll with me..

  4. PauliWeb I'm really sorry to hear about your bad experiences. My first experience was really mediocre, but i wasn't butchered - sorry that this happened to you. Do you have any pictures you could share with us?
  5. Hi Aaron. Sorry to hear about your situation. As others have explained, sometimes your hair characteristics do not allow for a full look the first time around. I know, its damn irritating having to spend more money, pain and time for another session, but c'est la vie. The good side though, is that the comb forward looks great on you - sure the temples look a little thin, but theyre natural and i wouldn't look twice at you in a negative way. So just get in the chair again, 500-1000 for the crown, 1000-1500 for the front and you're probably set for the next 5-10 years mate. Also, what concealers are you using?
  6. Schlomo this looks great, you must be thrilled! Are you happy as is or do you plan on adding some density to the hairline and crown?
  7. I at 21 and once again at 22. Feel free to ask any questions
  8. Sup. The advice you have been given is justified. If you have frontal hairloss only, then it's a problem because it makes you a bad candidate, plus meds rarely work in the frontal area. I'm 22 myself and have had 2 procedures - but i'm a diffuse thinner with some top/crown hairloss as well. Could you show us some pictures? Also, feel free to ask me any question if you want to know how it feels to be young, having lost your hair, and regained (most) of it.
  9. Have you considered FUE repair? You could have some plugs spread out on the dome for a thin but natural result, allowing you to buzz.
  10. The cost is additive. The first 500 grafts = 6 euros = 3000 euros another 500 for 3 = 1500 euros another 1000 for 2.5 euros = 2500 euros 2000 = 7000 euros
  11. Also, there is dr. Ferudini. Both him and Devroye are in belgium
  12. 3k+ definitely, i have a hard time seeing 1500 giving a decent result but i'm not an expert ofcourse.
  13. I dont have a camera, i have a phone. Didn't think they were that bad though i think they give an overall indication of what has happened. I'll try to get better quality pictures in the future.
  14. Great results Tubs, are you planning on a 2nd pass for the crown or are you happy?
  15. Hey guys. This last months has been good in terms of growth - looks like things are finally starting to kick in. I took off my hat a week ago and have only received positive comments so far - maybe it's because i turned blond. Before 1st ht: Anyway, here it is: I apologize for the quality, as always nokia is overrated. Thoughts: The blond hair goes really well with my scalp to hair contrast and makes it look fuller than it really is, until the transformation is complete (heck i might keep it) Also, there are no longer any signs of a thinning crown thanks to that. For previous photos/story see http://hair-restoration-info.c...566060861/m/77510952

  18. Anyway guys, i thank you for your help.. i'll delete the post since i pretty much got it figured out..
  19. Nothing except love ofcourse...
  20. I do value you guys input - most guys on this site is past their 30's and probably have considerable more insight than i do. They have already broken up and are basically living seperate lives - only that neither of them will move, and neither can legally make the other one do so. And he refuses to let go of her. She loves the house and has poured much more money into it than he has - so she really wants to stay, but she has promised me that if it's not going be happen, she will move. Why do you think i should respect the family? They are not - just 3 people with the same bloodline. In my book, a family is more than that - it's about love, respect, union, socialization, support - and they are giving each other neither.
  21. Bill - the work looks ultra refined as expected, and i wish you the very best on your follicular restoration journey. Too bad i didn't win on the graft-guessing-game but i'm glad to know that you got more than i had predicted. This should be the final one, right? Is there any donor left at all now? Do you have a few thousand left for FUE?
  22. Yeah good luck Bill, this should be your final surgery giving you a complete look for the rest of your life. my guess is 1824.
  23. LOL yeah i did take those pictures while being on the toilet. Thanks for all the comment guys.
