  1. Hi Guys Thanks for comments. Couple of photos of how my hair looks now. Tubs
  2. Hi Guys Haven't been on forum for sometime but pm from 57mph pricked my conscience! Could not be happier with my result and that largely explains my absence - I do not have an issue with my hair any more and my obsession with HT's / forums etc disappeared when my issue with losing my hair was "solved" - that said I still intend to return to Dr Feller at some time to "finish" the job and get my crown done. It's nearly 3 years since my HT, I will post some photos later today to show how it looks today. Tubs
  3. BB Just sent you a pm with contact details. Tubs
  4. BB I agree with above posts - both top rate clinics. Your story reminds me of my own situation, I also wanted a one and done HT. My shortlist also included H&W, Dr. F and one other - I decided on Dr Feller and am delighted with the with result - I found the decision stage the most difficult part, so if you live in the South East of England, I would be happy to meet up and show you my results. 5. Thanks HC I needed to do strip for the first HT due to the quantity of grafts required, but for phase 2, i want FUE purely for the reduced downtime. I am 42 now and my hair loss seemed to stabilise before my first HT so I don't feel the need to "strip" out (also on propecia which I seem to have repsonsed well to). Just had a look at your blog - 2700 grafts will make big difference! Tubs
  6. Hi I have updated the album on this thread to show the 11 months pics. Still planning to address crown, work commitments will probably prevent me doing FUE this side of XMAS. Going to give PRP a go in the meantime (hopefully in the UK, otherwise will "pop" to NY). Want to try PRP out of interest - I'll keep you guys updated. All the best Tubs
  7. Hi Scottish Guy I purchased insurance that allowed for medical treatment from this co. Insurance Link I cannot vouch for the above as the only interacion I had was to pay the premium (make sure you read the small print). Policies will not cover any problems relating to the procedure itself, but if you were run over by a bus you should be covered. Tubs
  8. Is this legal in the US? Good to see you back B-Spot. The idea that having an HT is somehow embarrassing is in our own minds. I didn't keep it a secret at all, 94.7%* of the reaction is fascination / positive, some see it as vain but who cares?! By not keeping it a secret takes so much pressure off (especially in the early days). I wore a baseball cap for a few weeks but people were always asking for a "peek". If your teeth fall out it wouldn't be embarrassing to say you are going to have implants? I always said that I have not had anything enhanced, simply restored. Tubs * I made that bit up
  9. Scotty - it may not be cold feet, when you decide to have a HT you feel you have found a resolution to something that has been troubling you, once a "solution" is found the problem no longer seems as big as it was. Perhaps you have merely reduced the perception of your "problem". Not sure if the above sounds like complete b****x but I think I went through a similar experience! Tubs
  10. Dr Feller - Great to see the tool in action. Given the tool speeds up the process and reduces the Dr.'s fatigue, I presume that larger sessions can be done with the tool than without - what size session do you feel comfortable performing without overly compromising the yield? Tubs
  11. I think UK NHS Doctors have an administration problem with charging for tests, this may explain his reluctance. Mine "forgot" to charge me despite me reminding him some time later. Best wishes for your procedure, you have choosen a great Dr - having a HT was one of my best decisions. Tubs
  12. Thanks Yukon,Petchski,Eman. Spex - will get some more pics. up at the weekend. Mike - Yes going to go for a second pass for the crown, heavily leaning towards FUE, I was hoping to get it done in August but work commitments make that less likely. Tempted to "pop over" to NYC and give PRP a go (Spex - is this a possibility?). Hi Mick - Good point about the passport, I'd better check! Pretty much everyone knows I had a HT (which is a good job because my 6 year old son announced it on a local radio interview at his school!!). I get the biggest reaction from those I see infrequently as the change appears more dramatic. Tubs
  13. errr...thanks Winston. HC - thanks for comment - Dr Feller did good! Tubs
  14. Thanks for comments. Spex - sure I can do some distance shots - i thought the close ups posted above showed how natural the hairline was and in most transparent way!! I have no intention (or ,imo any need), for any hairline refinement - very, very pleased with hairline as is. Abby - cheers buddy, slick back was for the photos only, but maybe it time for a new look!! Do you have any updates on your HT - your 9 mths shots look like you had good growth, have you let it grow now? All the best Tubs Tubs
