  1. Hey guys... Tomorrow is my 4 month post up, but i felt like giving a sneakpeak. These pictures were taken 4 days ago so they should represent my current situation. Definitely seeing some growth, especially on the right temple area. I'm hoping to drop my hat at the 1st of may, maybe dye myself blond to emphasize on the hair to scalp contrast, but i guess that would require alot of growth on april. For PRE-ops please look at THIS PAGE I can't wait for may.
  2. Thats not always true Emperor. Some men DO experience crown loss only, i've personally seen several examples (of course, i do not know if they had any HT done but considering the odds thats unlikely)
  3. I had tons on my first HT but i haven't experienced a single one on my second. UNFORTUNATELY. I just love popping those babies on the mirror, but then again i am a demented freak, so what to expect?
  4. Eman have my babies, PLEASE! Just kidding. Actually i'm not. Great results man, 6 months and you practically have a full head of hair. Oh, and i would love to see you wearing that hairstyle you had on your pre ops. Maybe you can give us some styled pics?
  5. Waterproof/smudging is #1 priority for me, as i work out hard and often sweat like a beast - also i want to be able to swim with it. It does not have to make remarkable results as i am only slightly thinning and have low scalp/hair contrast. SO i guess dermmatch?
  6. cmon guys, someone must know the answer to this one?
  7. I think it looks great, and the look suits you. I would keep it this way, even if you have to use concealers, because it looks natural and thick. About the scar, if it bothers you, you can maybe FUE some grafts into it to make it better blend. It's barely noticable with the concealers though.
  8. Sorry to hear about this. Dr. Feller is one of the most respected doctors on this site, and rightfully so, i trust that you and him will find a reasonable sollution to your situation - which is probably a second procedure to thicken the areas lost by your receeding hairloss at a discount. either way, good luck.
  9. for someone with only slight diffuse thinning in my crown, would i go for a scalp concealer or hairthickener? Also, which ones can get wet?
  10. I can understand that you want to be careful. As a diffuse thinner however, it is my opinion that you can be more agressive as the loss patterns are somewhat defined already, so theres little left to chance. Ofcourse, unless you somehow miraculously grew back your crown and any future hairloss would be frontal only, but i haven't seen that happen before. If you are considering it, you could try to make an appointment with one of the belgium trio (devroye, feriduni, and the last one i cant remember) lycka till :-)
  11. Hi Noel. First, are you danish? (since you had bought some topical treatment in copenhagen) No one can tell you what to do, but if it really bothers you that much, maybe it is not such a bad idea. Truth be told, your hairloss patterns look similar to mine, although yours is probably a bit worse than i started out - i am 22 years old and have had 2 procedures of 4350 grafts. You(we) are a diffuse thinner, which means that grafts can be placed within the thinning hair to create density, but losing more hair will not make it look unnatural. This is a good thing. Without being an expert, i would say atleast 3k maybe even 4k grafts to create a satisfying result.
  12. Also, does anyone know of a good place in europe to buy these concealers?
  13. Just wondering, is it possible to achieve a good result with concealers, if you hair is not uniform? I am considering getting my hair dyed several blond colors, but i'm wondering if this makes concealers make unnatural spots.
  14. Absolutely amazing results man... the last months has been really good for you
  15. Hi mate. Being 22 and having had 2 procedures, i can totall relate to you. I am(was) probably a diffuse NW5. Truth be told, if you told me that your frontal 1/3 was totally barren and that the middle and crown were holding up nicely i would be reluctant to suggest a ht. But us with a diffuse pattern have the advantage here, as the future loss is much easier, although not entirely, to determine. Hence, hair can be planted inbetween to create density, and even if the remaining falls off, it will not create an unnatural gap, it will merely look thinner than before. This being said, i am not a doctor and i cannot tell you if a HT is a good idea for you. Could you show us some pics? 4k grafts is around the same as me (4.3k)
  16. the [ img] function must be an internet adress, you cannot link to your harddrive.
  17. While the result is definitely subpar, do not dispair. I have confidence in any recommended or coalition doctors ability to give you a better density and provide an excellent touchup. Completely laser'ing away is not a very good option. It will also leave scars, and on a barren area.
  18. Photoshop is ofcourse an alltime favorite - a bit excessive perhaps, but its a great utility programme.
  19. I agree, however i did not buy them online - i bought them at the local pharmacy, on proscription, so i am pretty sure they're legit.
  20. Thanks raphael, and i agree, devroye's documentation is great. I know i promised you guys 2 months pics, but nothing has happened as of yet, so i am holding on to them until 3rd month!
  21. Hello Jingo You have received good advice so far. Personally, if it really bothered you, then i think you should do it. Definitely get on the meds though, to prevent any future loss of hair as much as possible. your hairline looks a bit like mine (except i was also diffuse across the entire scalp) and i am 22 and have had 2 procedures of 4400 grafts total.
  22. i hear you Dr. Lindsey, but whats the difference between propecia and generic finasteride, besides the discomform of cutting it into 5 pieces?
  23. I've had a hard time getting my finasteride,- had to change doctors twice, which is not for free, before finally getting one who would subscribe me a proscription for generic fin instead of propecia. What a mindblowing difference. Propecia: $65 for 30 pills of 1 mg Copy Farm finasteride: $15 for 98 pills of 5 mg i saved about 6500%. God bless copy farm. :-)
  24. Vin Diesel had some fue done in his frontal zone to create the illusion of a hairline. However, the guy is otherwise a full NW6. It is clearly visible in several scenes of "XXX"
