  1. Only been a couple of months fella. I reckon it could take up to 6 months for your hormone levels to rebound and for you to see any difference. Keep doing the right things and ride it out. Did you get your blood work results as yet? Have you seen a urologist .?
  2. Propecia induced a huge shed in my hairline when i first started it that didnt recover. I basically went from not to having to use concealer in a matter of weeks. I used it for 4 years and it did nothing in terms of regrowth in hairline. I was considerably worse.
  3. From what i have seen around 3-4 weeks to be on the safe side. You want to make sure the grafts are safely anchored so i would say minimum 2 weeks but the above to be really safe.
  4. Juicing is nuts mate. Hairloss is the most mild side effect of it. Dont get me wrong im an avid trainer and have been tempted in the past. But these guys have no idea what its doing to their insides.
  5. FUE you can high tail it out of there really straight away. Could be useful to stick around for Strip to help with washing and staple removing etc.
  6. Was on it with only mild sides for nearly 4 years before larger side effects came on. It did work at maintaining some (but not all) hair. No regrowth. Will never go near it again due to the difference i felt in myself after dropping it. And the myriad of issues now being discovered related to it.
  7. Have you had your hair buzzed since you got the transplant.? Or did you let it grow out post op. As a lot of people have said transplants are the illusion of the full head of hair and may not look the same on some when buzzed down. This is as the hair would not be as densly packed beside each other as a natural head of hair therefore when grown out allows much more the ability to 'Curtain' the gaps between grafts. Therefore displaying much more coverage rather than patchy appearance. In any event you are only 6 months and for sure some areas will be less dense than others. Wait 12 months before deciding anything.
  8. Yes you got to try it first as theres no way back once your on test. Get that weight off , take up weight training. High protein diet and dont smoke and limit alcohol. Plenty of sleep and fruit & Vegs. A lifestyle overall perhaps but it works for a lot of people. You can look in to natural test boosters too . Lots you can try .
  9. TRT is an absolute last resort as it shuts down your natural test production and can do permantly so you need it for life. You should look to try get your levels rebounding naturally first.
  10. Thats one heck of a result. Very natural hairline but as Hairi says there must a very high yield here with the apparent denisty. A hall mark of Dr Bisangas work no question.
  11. If you castrate yourself you will not lose a hair on your head and not have a 'side effect' . When you think of the science behind it . I cant help but think propecia is a slow burn chemical castration.
  12. I had an issue with really low test levels also after 4 years of Finasteride use. And thats why i quit the stuff.
  13. Beautiful work and what a result at only 5 months. Kudos also to the Doc for his innovation and commitment to improving hair transplantaion methods.
  14. Propecia is an extremley powerful drug deceivingly marketed as something that only will affect the hair on your head. When in fact it directly alters your hormonal indoctrine and receptor system and production of DHT of which we know contributes and casues MPB in some people. We know DHT affects sex drive and lots of other functions so its anyone's guess what long term use will do. Added to that the medical community is also totally in the dark as to lots of things that DHT is essential for and are in a trial and error situation. This drug has been in long term use 10 - 15 years. No one can say for sure the myriad of side effects it can cause yet but we seeing the tip of the ice berg already in some.
  15. From what i have read around. The initial 'growth' right after transplantation is not in fact growth but just the hairs being pushed out a little before being shed.
  16. Long overdue addition to the HTN. For me the best FUE doc around for sheer volume of documented consistent results. Absolute top drawer FUT results as well. A world class surgeon. Few if any better.
  17. Fabulous result. We've said it many times there are few if any better than Dr Bisanga for FUE. Great that his work is getting exposure in this forum now too.
  18. Nice work. He will have a great result. Has the patient buzzed his hair at 9 months? Its interesting to see that at 7 months he looks to have great coverage. However at 9 months when buzzed it dosent look as filled in. Is this generally a hall mark of HT's in that they look much more dense grown out as opposed to buzzed.?
  19. 'Yoga is great, but trust me as a man once you hit your mid-late 30s the ability to maintain muscle mass is very difficult and it really helps burn fat (although it sounds like you have a very fast metabolism).' Have to disagree with the above statement. Most bodybuilders peak in their 30's and really fill out in to their frames. A lot of people make the mistake of training with less heavy weights as they get a little older. This is to blame for losing mass in a lot of cases.
  20. All Calories In V Calories Out lads. Find out your daily allowed intake and get in deficit every day possible. Simples.! 3000 calories in a pound of fat. Your in deficit each day you WILL LOSE BODY FAT. Trust me a lean torso is by far the biggest attraction for a women so get going!
  21. Hang in there mate. It takes time for hormone levels to rebound. Psychological stress wont help matters so try keep cool as poss. Tough one but do all the right things and follow up with your blood work tests asap and urologist if necessary to see exactly how the land is lying.. Get in the gym and training and eat like a cave man but get loads of fruit and veg too. Get your test levels cranking again. Worked for me. Am sure you will be Ok given some time. It should be a stark lesson though to all how powerful a drug this thing is that people go round popping like aspirin.
  22. If you have realistic goals and you are a good candidate you can have a great result. People go on about not like having your teen hair back. Of course it aint. But thats so long gone for most you can more or less forget what its like to have. If your a good candidate and get a good result you will be estatic to see decent coverage come back even if its half the density of your teenage self. Managing your own expectations is key to the whole process.
  23. Im not surprised either. All the things mentioned like atom bomb, Space travel , Hoover Dam etc are all man made technology / advancements. Where as with something like Baldness were talking about human biology (the most complex conundrum of all for man to solve. Primarily due to its something man has not created and it is all new discovery and trial and error). I believe a chart to 'a cure' to baldness will map similary to something like a cure for cancer. With preventative measures and inconsistant treatments being the best availalbe until hopefully man cracks this complex conundrum of human biology in time.
