Erectile Dysfunction Due to Propecia WITHDRAWL
Bobilero replied to 21YearsAndScared's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Test replacement must be taken for life guys a it shuts down your natural test production. its an absolute last resort, its also got unsavoury sides. You should get back to normal naturally. Up to you if you want to dabble with a lower dosage. I was not prepared to take any more risks with that stuff. -
Erectile Dysfunction Due to Propecia WITHDRAWL
Bobilero replied to 21YearsAndScared's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Propecia affected my free test levels when on it . After i had sides I massively upped the training in the gym and protein intake to get my test levels pumping again. MAke sure your not smoking , keep booze to a minimum. Get fit , eat right and lots of sleep. All you can do. I got back to 100% in a few months doing all this so hang in there. You are making the correct decision dumping it. Have this horrible gut feeling this drug is a medical scandal time bomb. -
bodybuilding and hair loss (not steroids)
Bobilero replied to j1j9j85's topic in Physical Fitness Issues
Theres slim evidence it could potentially speed up MPB but only if you are prone to MPB so your going to lose it anyway. The option of not training is not an option for me. Just by training alone and eating right with no supplements you will be increasing your test levels . -

Erectile Dysfunction Due to Propecia WITHDRAWL
Bobilero replied to 21YearsAndScared's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Stay off it and keep off it. It can take up to a year for your hormones to rebound and feeling back to normal. Everyone is different though. Could be longer. Hope you got your blood work tests done before starting the drug.? You should get blood work done now but without baseline data its gonna be very tricky to see what the issue is. This is Something the majority of people on here who should know better fail to mention and irresponsible Doctor's fail to mention to people before getting people on this drug. I wish you the best in recovery. Do not go near it again until you are at least back to normal. -
Hair Transplant advice needed from Irish 30 year old
Bobilero replied to Stublue's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Agreed Stu, ive seen some decent results (not lots mind you) from HRBR but like most things in modern Ireland they are shockingly overpriced! I wasnt aware they only did strip? You have made a stellar choice in BHR. You should be in for a good summer this year. -
2500 Grafts hairline Dr.Lindsey (1000 free grafts)
Bobilero replied to RCKHair's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Ive seen guys experience rapid MPB hairloss after steroid use. Think of the science of it if you are prone to MPB. Body flooded with test and and as a byproduct more DHT. -
Agreed his loss has torpedoed his looks. Poor chap. He just dosent seem to fit the thinning / bald look. Not everyone can be a Jason Statham i guess. If i was him i would have done something a long time ago. But each to their own, maybe it dosent bother him. There are no stigmas attached to a shaved head in the UK anymore. Used to be connoctations with hooliganism etc. But is part of fashion now and accepted no differently to the US professionally etc
-
William has immense thinning and im not sure he will be a HT candidate in a year or 2. Harsh re Harry i think, i havent seen much signs of thinning from him. any pics? Ive seen women and children with more prominent crowns than him based on the last pics i seen of him.
-
Stephen Fletcher had work done alright. Was in the papers at the time. Look like he just needs a 2nd op for the crown. Have not seen Pat nevins hair. Would have thought he needs a brain transplant , worst pundit ever !
-
you could be right. It aint close enough to delay a HT anyway!

2800 FUE by Dr Eser Ayadogdu in Istanbul
Bobilero replied to s2thoudriver's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Great result Rob. Just keeps getting better and more to come. -
Jesus had great hair though! He would approve !
-
Yeah i agree it looks to me he had work done with Ailesbury, practically nothing grew and he's been lashing on the concealer ever since. The guy obviously cannot afford to have some private treatment done and pay himself as he is continually having to go public with his ops.! To promote the clinic etc. Farcical really. This is surely another warning for anyone considering Ailesbury clinic.
-
So what exactly has gone on with Calum Best and Ailesbury. Their website states he has undergone treatment in July 2010 and hes 'delighted with the results and to check back for details'. Now it seems hes undergone another procedure and gone public.! Presumably by him going public hes getting it for free. ! One can only come to the conclusion the Ailesbury op was a complete disaster.? He never looked like he even had anything done.? No mention to it in the new articles. Calum Best follows Wayne Rooney and has a follicular transfer to fight premature balding | Mail Online

Holiday before transplant
Bobilero replied to Froobage's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
As long as you dont expose your scalp to the sun you should be fine. Pools are to be avoided also post op. Probably a better idea to take the holiday post op for more downtime before returning to work. -
Alternate Natural pill to Finasteride/Propecia
Bobilero replied to SamSpade's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
You could try Saw Palmetto. Its a natural herb considered a milder alternative to finasteride with additional health benefits. Native americans used to use it and you dont see too many bald ones!! It can lower DHT also so may have side effects. Although i have not seen too much ancedotle evidence it causes major side effects like finasteride does. -
Erectile dysfunction during sex due to Propecia
Bobilero replied to RocketMan's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
'Sexual side effects have only been reported (officially) in 0.3 - 2% of Propecia users,' This is a laughably inaccurate statistic conjured up from Merk. If you discontinue it your sides should go away. There is a small % in which they are permanent. The label now states this as a risk. It can take the guts of a year for some people. Can this junk, You have no idea what it is doing to your body and hormones. Try other alternatives and a HT. There will be a better and safer alternative to finasteride on the market 'hopefully' in the next few years. -
To bo honest i dont think it looks too bad. I also would not notice overtly bad scarring even from the 6000 FUE you have had. Can you imagine if you had a strip scar.? Do you know how much donor you have left.? One additional procedure should see you right for the next while. In the meantime keeping it short is what you want so its still framing your face Ok. Its not ideal but things could be a lot worse.
-
Excellent approach. I think people need to think outside the box a bit more if they cant or dont want to commit to propecia and have a reasonable amount of hair left. Not everyone will progress right the way up the Norwood scale. Just look around on the street ,you see plenty of men in their 40's and 50's with bald patchs and recession but in no way a top norwood. By intelligently planning and deciphering where the miniturisation is and will progress. Successful HT's like this can be made if the person dosent want to or cant handle finasteride.

Best FUE Dr for 1500 - 1800 hairline
Bobilero replied to Octamus's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
For me personally based on the research i have done i would go with Dr Bisanga for a procedure like this. Its the Sheer amount of consistent documented cases online that swing it for me. They are on other forums though as he dosent pay the fee to become a sponsored Dr here. Guess he dosent have too as he already has so much business/exposure. -
No shedding of hairs even after 4 weeks of hair transplant
Bobilero replied to abhi2608's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Shedding can commence 4-8 weeks so you will probably start soon. The odds are very slim you wont shed and grow straight away. Some will prob hang on though but majority should shed.
