    Very interesting bathroom reading material here. PGP, Good investigation and you are doing more of a service IMO than a dis-service. Bottom line however is that the only thing that matters in the end is the results,and both SMG and H&W produce some of the best results out there. If we took graft counts out and judged strictly on results compared to price of procedure H&W and SMG would still be at the top of my list.

    If you are completly bald 35-40 would not look thick, but give decent enough coverage. If you are a diffuse thinner with already 30-40 fu's per cm2 then yes it would appear thicker with 35-40 per cm2

    Congrats on the HT. It's funny though that after you hear anything slightly negative about a doctor you have a newbie sign up to tell you how happy he is and how great that same doctor is. Im not trying to take away from your experience but this type of thing seems to happen all of the time. Good luck!!!

    No offense but you are likely to see pigs fly before you see results from Provillus. Unless its finesteride or minoxadil I would stay away from it. Dont worry though I fell for it to before I was educated thru this forum. Good luck!!

    I disagree. I think maderma and aloe vera can help if you use it religously for 3 months after the procedure. I went to a hack of a doctor but i've been told my scar looks good "as if a scar can look good" and I used both products

    I base this comment strictly on my opinion and I know of no facts but I think Dr. Epstien may have a weak link in the chain. He claims that he's had most of the same people working for him for years but I have to assume that just like any other profession that some people can become board, have a bad day or just dont care anymore. There have been a few complaints as of late which seems to have tarnished his reputation but all in all I'd say HE is still a very good doctor and IMO among the best with donar closure.

    Looks great!!!! Hey I left you a comment on you're other thread about your pics.. The question is are you happy with your results and what is your plan for the future???? All in the crown or do you want to try to add density to the front as well??

    Dewayne, Is this picture an accurate description of what the crown looks like? If so then I would say about 2,000 grafts. Are you done addressing the frontal 2/3ds? If so then I agree with spex. On a side note are you going to have Dr. Cooley take pics for comparisons of before and after this last procedure. No offense but your picture taking makes it hard to see your final results and it would be nice to see some quality pics. Good luck to you!

    You'll have great coverage it appears but Im sure you'll want a 2nd procedure done to add some density. Work looks nice and clean

    being 42 with that much hair left I'd say yes you are a perfect candidate for a HT. Just make sure you go to the right place or you may end up with less hair than you started with.

    Without even looking I knew you were a Rahal patient. There is just something about the scabs that are so uniform with his patients. I wonder why that is??? You are gonna be psyched in 8-10 months..
