  1. Thanks for all the replies. My previous procedure was quite large over 4000 grafts. I will email Doc and let you know what he says.
  2. Thanks Sparky After emailing my Doc he said The scar is a concern whether you should go with the same scar or new scar. Any idea what he could mean?
  3. How does the scar situation work with your second hair transplant procedure? Do you now have two scars or do they somehow join them into one? Im now at 11 months post and doing scalp exercises for next ht. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
  4. Desirehair The more you post the less comfortable I feel about the neograft product. I was quite interested in this product but after reading your last few posts I personally would not want anything to do with this prodcut. You attack the forum, then attack Dr Feller with a rubbish response. You have actually done me and probably a lot of others a huge favour in showing your true colours. Sounds to me a lot like another bs company trying to sell a bs product. I really love this forum because it flushes out all the charlatans out there. Keep up the good work...
  5. why doesnt Dr Humayun respond to this message? I agree that a lot of doctors shy away from replying to problem cases.
  6. Not sure why album is not working. They seem to load fine. Bill, little help please...
  7. Guys im looking for opinions, guidance and advice... Was an NW6 before surgery now 8.5 months post I find I can style my hair certain ways to make it look ok. I have been experimenting with toppik and I can get an ok result considering where i was pre HT. I find that with no product and under the sun or strong lighting the front hair line is completely see thru. Background My HT was 4387 grafts March 3rd 2009 which was just under 9000 hairs. My doc did say that I would need a second one to address density and crown... I have included a pre op pic, one under harsh sun, one under outdoor conditions and one with product and toppik. My characteristics are not great. I have fairly dark hair and not overly tanned skin. I know this means I need more work than others with less contrast. Thing that worries me is HT looks very see thru under harsh sun or certain lighting as you will notice. I guess i need more grafts. Hair greed kicking in.... I was hoping to get some opinions. Will I get more growth? I know i need a second HT and need more density. Also have crown to deal with but obviously should probably concentrate on the front before the back. Thanks guys.
  8. If you're happy to spend a little bit extra on accomodation stay at sheraton grande sukhumvit. Excellent place and right next to the sky train. Since there is a lot of traffic in Bangkok its much easier to take the sky train to Dr Path's office about 12 mins on train. 2 minute walk to his building. Good luck.
  9. 1.Very happy I had a HT, changed my life. 7.5 months post op and already planning for second one to address crown. 2.I went with Dr Pathomvanich in Thailand. 3.We focused on getting good coverage from front to back with a conservative front hair line. Crown was left alone. 4. 4387 grafts 5. One so far. Next HT to address crown and get a little more density up front. 6. I did the shaved head but didnt like the look of it. HT has made me look 10 years younger and its only been 7 months post. I would say FUT for advanced baldness like ours.
  10. Hi Thana, I was just wondering if you would post a couple of before and after pics. What your hair looks like before and after using these products. Having had a HT 7 months ago I will definitely give this system a go. Thanks.
  11. kaounis I had my ht at 28 and yes i do want to play the chase game. I feel better about myself, I've lost 30 pounds and its changed my life. If something is going to make you happy go for it. I Wouldn't change a thing!!!
  12. Can we get some more information about this topic. I think its a subject that a lot of HT patients will be interested in.
  13. I just had some questions in relation to crown restoration. I was an NW6 and my first surgery took up 4387 grafts. I am now 6 months post op and noticed a lot of growth and i'm very happy so far. I now have a large crown that I want to fill in on my next procedure. I know i will need at least 2500 grafts to get some coverage for the crown. Is it better to attack the anterior part of the crown, meaning to do a partial restoration then grow out the hair? Also once you have had the HT can you now sleep on your back on the grafts? Or do they get damaged? Ideally I would like to thicken up the front by another 1000 grafts and use the rest for the crown. I'm estimating that i have anywhere between 3 to 5k grafts left. Also I do want to save a few grafts for any future hair loss that might occur. Any suggestions HT Docs, Bill, members???

  15. I don't understand why more HT docs dont use the head band. I wore the head band for about 7 days post op and had no swelling what so ever. Worked a treat. Is there any reason why more docs are not using the head band?
