  1. Thank you all for those that are trying to help me make a decision. It's nice to hear that people have had transplants earlier in 20's, but I guess at 21 i would be considered extremely young candidate for HT. Thin crown but dermatch does do wonders, and I have a receded hairline. I guess the real question is, if I were to go in for the transplant at this young age; I probably wont have to use concealers anymore, and what is the worst that can happen if I attempt it? Again thank you all for you're feedback, it is an issue I consider my most stressful in my young life.
  2. crown front here is two pictures of my situation to give you guys a better idea. I had a feeling you would tell me not to get transplant yet, but I guess only thing to do at the moment is continue with finpecia and dermatch?
  3. Hello to all, I am a 20 year old male and I have been suffering from hair loss, or major thinning on top since I was 18. My older brother is 23 and has suffered much more loss then I have, but he shaved his head and is able to deal with it. I for one can't stand the thought of balding, and eventually having no hair on my head. It is part of my look, and who I am and I can never picture myself being without it. I am going to law school next year, and I just want to be that guy in the suit with hair. I have been on the generic form of propecia for 8 months now, and I have not noticed regrowth but maybe just stablization at most. My hairline has receded, and I am thinning terribly on crown. I have started using Dermatch since last winter, but I cannot cover my problems any longer. I recently won a lawsuit over a car accident I was in; and sure have six figures so I definitely have enough for transplants. I know you guys recommend 20 being to young, and I turn 21 this december; but I just hate comments being passed from some of my friends, and me not having normal set of hair I once did. I surely don't have a problem with the ladies, but they say you need to be happy with yourself. Should I go consult with Bosley, and make a move? I do go back to college in august I will probably have to hide in a hat until December, but I dont know what else to do at this point. Please respond and help me. Thank you!

  5. Hello guys, I am 20 years old thinning at crown and receding at front (even though you cannot tell because I comb my hair down). I have the money to get a hair transplant, but I recall you guys saying it is risky to get it at a young age because of Shock loss and unpredictability of how much more hair you're going to lose. My mothers side has full heads of hair and my fathers side did not. My older brother who is 24 gets buzzcut which i was considering but i dont think I can pull it off. One you get hair transplant are those hairs permenant? Instead of going for so many different procedures why cant it be possible to just have all hair on top lasered out and have mega session? Please respond thank you! CD
  6. Hello guys, New to the forum I've been a lurker for quite sometime now, and finally decided to just register and get involved. I am thinning at crown at 20 years old, but it is not that extreme. My mothers side of the family all had full heads of hair, and my fathers side no one did. I'm assuming me and my older brother were unlucky in receiving my father's genetic gene. My brother is 24 and prefers to get buzzcut which I was considering but I just dont think it's my look. Anyway if hair cubed spray really does work and is water proof as compared to toppik; then I might buy the spray and solve my thinning problem at crown for now. Please let me know if it is a ripoff?
