  1. You look a lot like I did at 26. I got on meds at 27 and remained the same until 31, then pulled the trigger on a transplant. I can tell you that even the minor improvement a hair transplant will bring won't substantially change your luck with the ladies. Theres no harm in seeing how things progress for a few years until pulling the trigger. Also, you should post a picture straight on with your hair styled how it usually is to give a better sense of how your hair looks in normal day-to-day situations. If it looks how I think it'll look, there really shouldn't be any rush because it's pretty good as is.
  2. Those videos don't tell as as much as a few better framed pics of you from the front and overhead (to fully see the crown) would. Your donor appears fine. And you have fine hair that appears to be neither super thick by fine hair standards nor super thin by fine hair standards.
  3. Looks quite dense. I’d guess this is 4000 grafts. I’d be interested to hear how many it ended up being. If it grows well this should provide a substantial improvement.
  4. Chicks love to have some fun that time of year, though. Whether early 20s and newly living alone or into their 30s and starting to feel super lonely due to the holiday season, I honestly think the mid December through valentine's day window (especially if you live in a place with a real winter) is the most underrated time of the year as far as dating goes. You get a transplant and that's off the table. Actually, though, if this is a good clinic and OP wants to get a transplant with them he should take the first available date. lol
  5. It's understandable that you're concerned given how things are looking at this point. Nothing that you, anyone on this site, or even the clinic says or thinks is going to make the slightest bit of difference. You're best off trying to put it in the back of your mind for 2-3 months until it's pretty clear how things will turn out.
  6. No. It’ll be fine if it’s a good clinic. There’s never a good time to have to hibernate socially and completely end (if you’re single) your dating life for 6 months. At least this way you’ll be in pretty good shape come late June and into July when it’s warm. And you’ll really be great by the fall.
  7. Looks very good. The thickening effect that should follow will leave your hairline looking perfect. I read that "popping" usually lasts through 8 months or so, but perhaps not? I know each case is different, but there really does seem to be a wide range of scenarios that unfold. Either way, definitely some thickening to follow.
  8. This. Also, even if he never lost a single hair for the rest of his life, I genuinely think a slightly recessed hairline on a grown man looks as good as does a lower, more boxed in one. And even recession often leaves a straight appearance from the front, so it's not as if it will be overly curvy when viewed from any real life angle. If you care enough to post here surely you care enough to apply minoxidil for 3 minutes a night 6 (or 7) nights a week. The worst thing that happens if you stop is you shed, look worse than you did when you started, then bounce back to baseline. It's worth a shot to see if it can add to your overall thickness for sure, OP.
  9. Either way, there really isn’t any good justification for going to Asli Tarcan.
  10. I figure it would. I've read topical fin is less likely to produce sides by a significant margin than oral fin... I'm considering switching in the next couple of months.
  11. I'm quoting you, but anyone should feel free to respond. Is topical dut likely to thicken hair more/work better than topical fin as is the case with the oral versions of these two drugs?
  12. Looks like seborrheic dermatitis, but I'm no expert. If so, Nizoral is pretty good for it.
  13. I'd imagine encouraging people to aggressively try to remove scabs (particularly if it's just a few that are being stubborn) before they're ready to be gone would actually be more likely to hurt graft growth. Of course one should wash the recipient area (even the day after using the "cup" method), but OP is too early on for growth and has nothing to worry about.
  14. Pimples or folliculitis in the recipient area are pretty common.
  15. Looks very good. Do you think you'll use any of those beard grafts (or any other grafts) to even further the density? Doesn't seem necessary honestly. Although there's always the wish to be better no matter how good of a result one gets. It seems guys who get to higher NW (especially on the younger side) often have great beard genes and are overall quite hairy. Maybe I'm off on that, but it holds true for you.
  16. He really packed out the front very densely. If it grows well, I think you'll be pretty happy with this.
  17. 4 months and 14 days. The first sunshine pic is the brightest sunshine possible (3rd pic overall) and wet, the second is basically brightest possible (5th pic overall) and dry. Things are improving. If the left corner doesn't get all the way there I'll be ok. There's a few doubles in the hairline, but there may still be singles that will grow in front (and even the few I've seen aren't the most anterior and have singles fairly near them so as not to be too bad). Overall, hopefully things continue to improve and I'm staying positive. Any thoughts? I think if even 30-40% of the grafts still have to "pop" through the scalp this will turn out very, very well. It's worth noting that even my native hair is VERY unruly when it's short, so once the grafts grow long enough to comb/blend in, that alone should be a considerable difference. Redness is pretty much only visible now in blisteringly bright sunshine, so that's encouraging. I'll update at around 6 months, I've promised myself I won't take another picture for at least a month now - I'm sure you guys can relate to the constant judging (which gets infinitely worse once growth starts).
  18. It's early enough that you could be a quick grower and still see very little at this point. Either way, I think your result will end up very good.
  19. 2% is twice as strong and even that is pretty limited in its ability to suppress DHT. I'd definitely recommend 2% 2-3x a week if your scalp can handle it without becoming too dry. Regenepure DR has 1% in it, but it's less drying/harsh so you can use that one other days. Maybe throw baby shampoo into the mix 2x a week too just to really give your hair a few days where its not getting anything remotely harsh on it too.
  20. I get not wanting to use fin, but I think it’s worth noting it doesn’t make you infertile. Perhaps stopping it while trying to get pregnant is recommended, but the stuff doesn’t make you infertile. Totally understand not wanting to take fin, though. Just wanted to throw that out there. Hope things are progressing well
