  1. Dr. Haber measured it to 6-7cm, I can't remember which. The "issue" is that my natural hairline was around 5cm. My natural hairline before any receding was where the mole on my upper forehead is. My hairline was directly covering that.
  2. You may notice a small handful of hairs near my widows peak that are short and seem stunted. I don't wear my hair like that, so I was not aware of how I didn't shave them entirely when I was lining my hairline up last night, so those are typically full length, but I had not taken them all the way down with the razor, accidentally.
  3. Sorry for the delayed update. Life has been hectic lately. Please tag my profile if I forget again, as it emails me in that case. Currently 6 months and 10 days post-op. THE FIRST photos will be with hair WET and SLICKED back. It's never styled this way, I simply wanted to show the hairline. THE SECOND set of photos will be with the hair dried.
  4. @John1991 Here are a few close ups of the hairline. I'm standing directly under three LED lights, so there is an immense amount of direct light on my scalp. During the day, it's not as transparent as it is here. I wet and then used gel to slick my hair back as much as possible. My hair is rather short, so it still stands when slicked back right now, but this is a good idea of how it looks wet. I also pushed my widows peak back a few hairs last night with a razor, so one of the hairs was cut in half and I hadn't plucked it before I took the photos, so ignore that one hair, lol. I also added a photo of my hair completely dry.
  5. My next procedure (should I get one) will likely be with Dr. Haber, Dr. Diep, or another highly recommended doctor. I plan on lowering my hairline at that time.
  6. No, I understand. I'll try and get a hairline picture when I can. As I said, it's not as strong as I'd like (but are they ever? lol)... however, it's better than what I had, which makes me feel better. That, coupled with fin/minoxidil, I'm in a better place and mentality. The hairline wasn't lowered, so let me make that clear. It was receded significantly in the sides, so the procedure restored those areas and added density to the center hairline and the receding areas, as well as a hundred or so grafts to the completely bald scar area in the center of my scalp (about quarter dollar size). I'm still hoping that I'll see further progression and thickness. Think that's likely, or at 6 months will this be as good as it gets?
  7. Additionally... crown had ZERO work done on it. It has a very direct light source being shown onto it in this photo, so it looks much thinner than it actually is. I currently have a full crown.
  8. I received a HT from Dr. Haber just over 6 months ago. It was about 6 months and 12 days ago, if I'm remembering correctly. The service was impeccable and the procedure went very smoothly. I have a full review posted here on this forum. I haven't done an update in quite some time because life has been so busy. I'm about %80 happy with the results at this point. I do wish that I was seeing thicker and more dense results, but I'm hoping that I'll see the hairs mature in the following months. I'll post some photos below. Ignore my cheeseburger and french-fry t-shirt... lol. Dr. Haber provided a great experience and results that I think are above average. If I could go back, I would have lowered by hairline a little bit and tried to go with an even denser hairline. I still stand by my decision to use Dr. Haber. I have a short video that I just took, but I'm unable to upload it here, unless @Melvin- Moderator knows of some way. It just shows me doing a brush through and such.
  9. Showing very little growth at 3.5 months post-op. Just a little bit worried. I’m seeing the start of some hairs coming out, but where there should be many more, they haven’t emerged yet. Thoughts?
  10. UPDATE - 2 months and 20 days since HT - Feeling has returned to my scalp. My donor area looks healthy, with the exception of where they first began the removal of hair. I’m hoping this one area appears thinner since it was where they first started and or because of shock loss, not over harvesting. I have very very little growth in my recipient area. I know I shouldn’t be concerned at this point, but I can’t help to be. I’m hoping that I’ll see significant progress in the next 1.5 months. I have had my donor area cut 3 times now and have not touched my recipient area. Keep in mind that I had a decent head of hair prior to my procedure, so these “update” pics only show what I had prior to the transplant already, not much new growth at all. Hair is a bit wet, as I just showered. Should I see more by now?
  11. Should be temporary though, correct? I should expect it to all grow back as normal?
  12. Afternoon, Today marks 1 MONTH since I received my 2000 graft HT with Dr. Haber in Cleveland, Ohio. I had the donor area hair cut about a week ago. I'm experiencing a decent amount of shedding and I didn't notice it until I took pictures, but I think I'm also experiencing significant shock loss, although I have only personally seen around 15 hairs fall out. My recipient area is much thinner than it was before my HT, so this is why I think I'm seeing shock loss, if I am. My donor area is healing nicely, but I'm not certain how it compares to others at this point. I feel as though it's a little TOO thin in some areas, or am I wrong? Pictures below of my ONE MONTH UPDATE. Feedback is appreciated! Thanks!
  13. @Melvin- Moderator Mind giving your opinion?
  14. The hair seems to me to be more of the transplanted hairs, not the pre-existing hairs, although I could be mistaken.
  15. I'm on day 29 of my hair transplant and I'm experiencing shedding, but I want to make sure that it's normal at this point. My scalp feels as if the skin around the hairs is healing/dying, and if you run your fingers over the area you can feel a slight "bump". Gentle rubbing will loosen the skin and bring hairs with it. Is this normal?
