  1. Too early to tell so far. Last month hairs were gone, this month starting to see some baby hairs pop through out of no where ha. I’ve read a lot of change happens month 4 to 5 which would be around May for me. As far as donor area and healing, can’t tell anything ever happened back there.
  2. I did FUE which is few dollars more per graft but I’m very active and didn’t want to wait on stitches, etc. I did 1 consultation, deposit to lock in surgery date, and then ended up doing 2nd consultation before the procedure to make sure everything would be smooth. If you don’t get reply on first email try a second and phone call is what I did. I know it can be frustrating and I remember it making me nervous but the day of procedure staff with Dr Haber are very good and I am confident in them as well as Dr Haber who did majority of the procedure himself.
  3. The procedure went very smooth. Haber is highly involved throughout and extremely detail oriented. His staff is with him daily as he does a lot of hair transplants and this is noticeable in how they work efficiently. I don’t regret my decision to go to Haber and felt comfortable knowing a doctor was doing majority of the procedure and not a flown in tech crew from neograft. After a week my donor area wasn’t very noticeable and felt comfortable in public after 2 weeks with recipient area. I had him fill in my receding hairline and he goes for more of a natural hairline so hoping it all looks good and full in 6-12 months!
  4. @Coverdale how are things going? Having a haber procedure next month with similar graft count…anything you learned that you wish you knew before going into procedure? Whether that is pre/post/ procedure itself. Thanks!
  5. Thanks all for input. I’m doing a receding hairline rebuild and maybe some temple work, no shave up top. Keep growing my hair longer in attempt to cover the newly built hairline when the time comes.
  6. I saw your YouTube video of starting the laser cap. Do you think it helped your healing process happen faster?
  7. I recently had a transplant office offer a laser package and prp package to help healing and growth after hair transplant. The laser package would be sitting under their laser device 2x/week for a month. Prp would be done at time of surgery. Has anyone experience with lasers post transplant and does it help? How about prp? If it reduced redness, speeds up healing, and increased growth cycle I’d be okay with the investment.
  8. Hi all - I know doctors say after a few days you can return to normal but when did you feel most comfortable in public? I imagine it takes a few weeks for redness to calm down and hair from donor spot to grow back. Any insight is appreciated, thanks!
  9. Thanks we are all good was able to get in contact.
  10. Thank you I have contacted his office, quite the challenge to get someone on the phone there.
  11. Not much good in Michigan but seriously if there are names to look into there let me know! I reached out to Nadimi and Panine in Chicago. Open to driving but prefer to have someone closer for cleanings/follow ups just for peace of mind. Idk if post transplant laser sessions or prp truly work but like having someone check the progress/health of grafts consistently.
  12. I tried getting in to see haber few years ago, tough time getting return calls. Trying again recently and experiencing same thing. Some of the top places in Chicago (nademi, panine) replied promptly.
  13. Hello - looking for a midwest doctor. I see a lot of posts for Dr John Frank from 2010-2015 but nothing since. Does anyone have any recent experience with him? His website lists safe scribe machine, not as familiar with it I see a lot of neograft and artas in Ohio. Thanks!
