    Quick update. Shaved the sides and top down basically 3 weeks later. Looks a lot better in my opinion. Hoping for the thickness to improve in the coming months

    I hope so, I'm meeting with the clinic Saturday, will confirm whether it's looking okay and will discuss the option of booking a 2nd transplant for more density

    Thanks for the reply. Back to the waiting game it is then 🙏🏽 That's a fair point, might have to put the mirrors away in the house. Doc in question does specialise in afro hair but I guess with the curl pattern you never know how it's gonna curl for sure once implanted

    I've contacted them and they said it should thicken over the coming months but can come into clinic for a review which I have booked for next week.

    I hadn't but I've sent them a message now regarding it.

    Afro hair does grow slightly slower and because of the tight curl it may look like a slower growth but I'm more worried about the gaps and varying density to be honest.

    Hi guys, how are my results looking so far? I'm wondering if I can expect the density to increase much in the coming months to blend more accurately with my existing hair. Any advice or opinions are much appreciated.
