  1. Too many grafts used for a 23 year old. At 23, I was a NW 1. I am 43 and without surgery, I am a NW 6. I hope he has amazing donor.
  2. Has anyone else had this experience. My kids are 4 and 6 years old. I think the 6 year old knows that I am sensitive about my hair (Not wanting it messed with, etc). I have had 2 transplants and SMP that have brought me from a NW 6 to a pretty decent head of hair actually. The other day, she pointed to a 60 year old guy on TV that looked nothing like me and had very receded thin hair going on and said "Daddy, he looks like you". I asked why and she said, the hair. I was somewhat upset but its a six year old for Pete's sake!! Just a few months prior, she said another actor looked like me and he had a nice full head of thick hair. Makes me wonder how kids see things and why my daughter sees my hair as very thin apparently in someone but very thick in others. Very strange...
  3. Perfect. Bisanga has to be in my top 5. Such clean work and great hairlines!!
  4. FUE is a great option for those that are "Stripped out" and want those extra 1000-2000 grafts to complete things. Starting out with FUE is folly IMO unless you have minimal to lightly moderate loss and likely always will.
  5. Nice result doc but I will never get why Dr. B does so little grafts per "Go" on such high NW level patents. I was a NW 6 and have had almost 8000 grafts done. I am happy with my results but of course wish I had more hair (As we all do on here). I cannot imagine only getting 1700 grafts total. That would have been pointless for me.
  6. There is a great place for FUE in the mix but this statement is way off center to be credible.
  7. I see almost NO value in mFUE. It would seemingly leave you with several small linear scars as opposed too one long linear scar. It still means you cant shave down without the appearance of work being done. This makes no sense to me at all with all due respect to Dr. Feller and others.
  8. To each his own but a beard hair transplant???? Many men's beards are patchy and that's just a given but again who am I to judge? All I know is that I could care two shits about my beard. It just shows you that we are all so different in what we perceive as normal, attractive, or needed.
  9. Thanks. I am hoping to get the full 4-5 passes done every 12 months if it can last that long.
  10. Haircut - How often do you get touch ups and how many "Passes" are your touch ups?
  11. Ditto on my experience there. Great clinic!!
  12. I would have thought the same result could have been had with half that many grafts. Especially given his seemingly favorable hair quality.
  13. Thanks guys. We took several pictures to capture the SMP so the hair was divided in some of the pics. However, on a day to day basis and with the way I style it, it usually looks like the very last picture.
  14. I vote Whurl but a very small part of me is unsure. Keep an eye on it over time...But don't get obsessed with it
  15. I am not sure because "SMP Looks" only offers Temp SMP. I would not go the perm route anyway. But I would like to see a Temp come out that lasts a solid 2-3 years. It was a package deal. I never had to shave down which was really nice. 'SMP Looks uses the Milena Lardi technology which lasts anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. I think most get 12-14 months out of it. If they go a bit deeper with the needle, it tends to last longer. For the last 2 passes, he went deeper with the needle for me. They do have a web site. "Hairthere" I am sure will post it. He will be posting my before and after pics as well soon. That's true and believe me, its very tempting to get those last 1500 done.
  16. Pics will be up in a week or so. Going on tue to take them.
  17. All I hear about is prices, I would not pay 10 dollars a graft to Tavel to the middle east as an American....All due respect of course. If you are from that area originally, have at it.
