  1. I'm curious about your beard being used as donor. Typically you see Eugenix dipping into beard when the graft count is higher than yours. Having only 2800 grafts, I'm surprised that didn't use all scalp donor. I'm sure there is good reason for it, but did Eugenix explain why they used some beard as well for you? Also, how many beard grafts did they use out of the 2800 total graft count? Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  2. You can always take a topical version of Finasteride if you are afraid of the side effects. I myself have taken the oral version at 1mg per day for the last 26 years. 26 years ago I was a Norwood 3 and stayed a Norwood 3 my whole life finally getting a transplant with Eugenix last year with success. Finasteride works well and helps to stabilize hair loss at the root cause. You should be on a daily regimen of some form of it for your preventative hair loss care. I would personally not waste my money on PRP, but you could go with a stronger version of Minoxidil by taking it orally instead of topically. I echo the sentiments of @Berba11. Do your research and understand the intricacies of hair transplantation and ultimately how a clinics process, procedures, techniques and artistry all tie together to create the best overall result. Even the best clinics in the world have bad results, but it's about mitigating the risks as much as possible with the clinics the produce the most consistently good work across a wide spectrum of clients. Those are the clinics that have the best procedures and techniques in place to put you in the best position of success. Money comes and goes, but your donor should be treated like gold. Don't sacrifice any more of it! At a first glance, it looks like you have incredibly strong beard and chest hair. I personally would take a very hard look at Dr Bisanga, and @Eugenix Hair Sciences as they are exceptionally good at body hair transplantation and can ultimately save you with dipping into another donor bank after the lost grafts of your 1st procedure. 3. Those temple points are sharp Adrian! Everything done from hairline to crown and temples is a work of art!
  4. Hang in there my friend, it's the calm before the storm😉. For me, at the 15 week mark everything changed. and it was literally a day by day change for the better. I agree wholeheartedly, Month 2 and early month 3 were the hardest. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  5. There will always be strong spots and weak spots in every hair transplant, especially any first hair transplant. I absolutely have them across the entire recipient area where I had scabbing, and especially in my right corner temple where very little grew and I need to comb my hair over to cover the small bare spot. For me though, I always knew and mentally prepared myself to have 2nd procedure before even having my first procedure. Mainly because you never know what may go wrong on the operating table, and also that very good density and overall balance is so hard to ever achieve after an initial procedure. Things for you are looking awesome at this stage, and quite honestly it's tough to spot any of the weak areas of growth, with your hair at this length. My favorite months so far have been 9 to 11. It is really when the maturity and thickening start kicking into gear. It'll all fall into place and look amazing at the 1 year mark, but in the end if you still have areas of concern, never rule out a refinement session if it helps you to achieve your ultimate goals. 6. Out of this world results John, and you are not even close to full maturity! Round 2 coming up😊! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  7. Couldn't agree more with that point Melvin. Hopefully for you, more months of maturity get you closer to where you want to be from a density standpoint. From the looks of it right behind the hairline seems very dense, which makes sense because you had hair there before. Personally I like it when the first 3 to 4 rows aren't super dense. It gives such a natural look when it's a little diffused then gradually thickening to no transparency visually. Definitely see that being the case for you as the months progress.
  8. Looks amazing @Fluffhead! You were such an inspiration to finally pulling the trigger and moving forward with Eugenix. I'll be going back again to add density in October. Hopefully after that, I'll be catching up to you.😉 It's tough to find many one and done procedures, but yours really defines that in every way. Awesome seeing you back on the forum, even if it is temporary!
  9. Based on the pictures you provided, I can't really tell how good a shape your donor is, but based on what I see from your beard hair, you may as well have ENDLESS donor, haha!🤣 The very fact that you got it right the 1st time with @Eugenix Hair Sciences and didn't have a Turkey hairmill hackjob puts you in the best possible position. My guess, you'll have a very successful 1st procedure, hair greed will kickin, and you'll be back to Eugenix ordering up a @Zoomster special and adding more density, more hairline, more temples and come out the other side completely unrecognizable, 1000% improved, and one of the many faces of Eugenix success stories. Sorry for predicting the next 2 to 3 years of your life, but couldn't resist!😉 Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  10. Great update Melvin! For only being at the halfway mark, what a night and day difference for you. Your crown region is really showing a ton of progress. For what you already realized at 6 month, come months 12 to 15, I'd bet money that you have full density in the crown and have no need for fibers ever again.
  11. Best of luck to you Mickey! Love the conservative hairline design! It'll make it easy to add more later and account for donor much better with a conservative design like this one. Dr Arika was my doctor and can only expect great things for you! I will be following your journey🙂 Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  12. Karl, you have set the bar to the highest limits for any level Norwood's out there. I've seen Norwood 2's not come out nearly as good as you in the end. Such an accomplishment and still more improvements await you! This next trip will be epic and so happy to share in it again with you for my 2nd round😉
  13. Very similar hair loss pattern to mine Ben. Work done is very very clean. Like Adrian said, kick back and forget about hair for a while and you'll be 1000% better in 6 to 8 months.😁 Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  14. The amount of triples and quadruples is great for you! Normally patients don't have that many quads. I know it's only 325, but trust me if evenly spread out, they will really go a long way in adding density. My guess is that they strategically placed them in the crown region, along with a very good amount of triples in that region as well. It is so hard to establish density in the crown, especially with a first hair transplant, but in your case, I think you in a strong position to have more density than the average guy with similar hair loss as you. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  15. @RTC neat and clean work for sure! Looking forward to following your progress! Congrats!
  16. Wow, that is insane growth for only 3 months, especially in the frontal region and temples! Months 4 and beyond will be a lot of fun watch, hopefully that convinces you to kick out monthly updates instead of every 2 month updates😁
  17. Great meeting you virtually @Bb111! You got some neat and tighty work done by one of the greatest in this industry. Really happy for you and can't wait to follow your progress!
  18. Looks incredible @PsSAU! So happy to see it all growing. My favorite months were month 5 and up, so enjoy all the massive improvements in weeks and months ahead! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
