  1. Great sign of things to come with early growth like this! Any more angles you could post?
  2. Looking very nice @MachoVato! I do agree temple points are so easy to scrutinize. I definitely was my own worst critic with mine after the 1st procedure which was one of several motivating factors to go for the 2nd procedure. Yours look great though. So natural!
  3. Adrian, everything looks great! Like I mentioned, it seems that every month has yielded more growth, greater progress. When you get your second procedure done, I can only expect those sparse areas in the crown and part line to look pristine at all angles! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  4. @BaldingEagle1your extensive research and multi year due diligence will be paying you back with incredible results in the end. The work looks so clean and refined! Very good write up! Looking forward to following your journey to the end! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  5. @Melvin- Moderator Crown and everywhere else lookin kick ass bro!šŸ˜Ž Can't wait to follow your progress on XYON. Because of it sustained release capabilities, I really believe it is the way to go for anyone interested in topical Fin. Much better bioavailable absorption of Fin as well as less likely to go systemic and cause sides. Fingers crossed you respond well and finally put a halt on the balding curse and just sit back and enjoy all that beautiful hair for a lifetime! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  6. I had no issues with trimming with a 0.5 spacer. Just don't go metal plate to scalp. I was EXTREMELY light to the touch and was able to successfully buzzcut my hair without issue. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  7. Wow! Seems impossible that you would have been able to get full coverage with only 4500 grafts. From the looks of it, you were around the NW6 range so I'd say everything grew and the coverage is much better than I thought it would be originally. With a decent amount of donor left in the bank for you, (especially in the beard) I would absolutely consider a second session adding density throughout. I just had my 2nd session back in October, and it was the best decision to add the density and have a fuller thicker appearance that stands the test of time. But I do agree with @BaldingEagle1 that it looks great either way! Just the hair greed in me talkingšŸ¤£! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  8. Once again it is about the body of work. You don't just get that from this forum, or some doctor's website, or some list of doctors for that matter. Search all forums, all social media, all websites and find real life examples of work that has been done. This forum does not just push member doctors. There are many many doctors that have been discussed and even recommended on this forum that are not members. Just as an example, I chose to go with Eugenix well before they were ever members of this forum based on all the positive feedback from multiple forums, reddit, facebook, youtubers, etc... My only point here is that you can't just go with a doctor's name on a list. That is how critical mistakes are made.
  9. Huge difference, you've got real people posting real results here vs some random list of top doctors which doesn't have that. It is the body of work that you want to research and discover, not a name on a list. Know the difference dude.
  10. Agreed! Dr Nader is without question the best choice in Mexico from the different results that I've seen coming of that country. But still do your research, and I will also say, don't just choose because you are going there for vacation and want to take advantage of the lower cost, medical tourism aspects of it all. It is best that you just choose the right clinic for your needs regardless of where it is in the world, vacation or no vacation, it needs to be the right clinic for you. We've seen too many cases of HT gone wrong with trying to combine a procedure with a favorite vacation destination. Nader is great at what he does though, and he has a bunch of examples on the forum for you to take a look at and would encourage you to do so. Good luck, and let us know who you go with! 11. Hey Karl! Ditto on the abovešŸ˜ Still can't take myself off the emotional high from our trip together! Your ugly duck phase is softening down to nothingness with every procedure you get, HAHA! No doubt you are going to look ridiculously dynamite after this round, and TRIPPLE O7 will be the only name that properly suit you when all is said and done. šŸ¤£ Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  12. Dr Arika did an incredible job on you! With the higher density she was able to achieve, you may very well be a one and done. Fingers crossedšŸ˜‰šŸ¤ž Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  13. Dutasteride is a great plan. I'm on it as well, and definitely less shedding. Give it a full year for everything to stabilize then reassess. There are some great clinics out there and you would be in a strong position with minimal loss and great donor if you decided to take the plung. Just be sure to take your time finding a clinic, and keep this forum in the loop on your future direction.
  14. 100% agree. Also, don't let cost determine the clinic. You can get yourself in big trouble choosing the wrong clinic, and losing more money and most importantly, precious donor. For the amount of hair loss you have, spending under 3.5k won't land you in a top tier clinic that could maximize your donor and give you the greatest quality outcome. I would suggest doing a lot more research before making any decision on clinics. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  15. How long have you been on Finasteride? Also, have you considered using Minoxidil as well? When taken together along with @NARMAK suggestion to microneedle, you may see enough improvement to be happy. If not, then I'd explore a hair transplant. Definitely worth going thru 12 to 24 months of adding a few more weapons to the daily hair arsenal to at least know that you've done everything to improve it before taking the next step of surgery. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  16. Great progress! Dr Bicer is very very good at what he does. I would however highly encourage you to take meds, ie, minoxidil, finasteride, to stop or slow down the progression. So much donor, emotion, and expense goes into these procedures, and your successful transplant is only as good as you stopping the progression, or at least doing your best to slow it down as much as possible. I've been on Finasteride for 26 years and counting. I would have definitely lost all my hair without it. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  17. Definitely shave down, don't take any risks. Anything that works easier for the techs and doctors will put you in a better position for a successful procedure. Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
  18. @Berba11 I'm so looking forward to your round 2! We were both similar in that we were in a very strong position to get all our hair back, but went a little too conservative on the 1st go. I feel strongly that adding a little more to your hairline and corner temples, along with maxing out density everywhere else will make you complete in every way. What would you change design wise on the 2nd go?
  19. I can always count of a very informed and well thought assessment from you Kamran! Always appreciated my friend.šŸ˜‰
  20. @cavemanas clean as can be my man. Temple points are, well, on point! šŸ˜‰ Looking perfecto and couldn't be happier to be on the same timeline brother! So hard to believe its been a whole month since we hung out at Eugenix and gazed at each others heads! LOL! šŸ¤£
  21. Can only imagine how good you look now! That incredibly refined work is on its way to popping in the coming weeks for sure.
  22. I could not agree more. It has helped big time for me in that category! I will say though, that if none of these supplements I take benefit the hair, I'd still take them because of the vast benefit in so many other areas of overall body health and wellness.
  23. One month update: Hi everyone. With the majority of the shedding behind me, Iā€™m officially in the ugly phase heading into month 2. The biggest change this time around is the addition of oral minoxidil. As a reminder, I'm taking Dutasteride once a week, Finasteride 6 days a week, and just started 2.5mg of Oral Minoxidil daily. I will soon switch to 1.25mg of oral minoxidil during the day and 5% topical minoxidil at night once I feel my scalp is ready at the 5 or 6 week mark. Everything seems pretty normal this time around. Much cleaner scalp all around comparatively to my 1st procedure. Just some minor redness right at the hairline which is to be expected. I've listed my current daily supplement stack for the hair. Only new additions are NAC and Pea Protein. Benefits of NAC for the hair: Helps remove free radicals and toxins that prevent healthy tissue growth. Helps also to regrow nerves attached to the bulb of the hair, as well as detoxifying the scalp overall. Benefits of Protein Powder for the hair: Very hard to get enough protein in your regular diet, so adding a little more protein in powder form is the best way to meet that requirement. Hair is made up of protein, and a deficiency may lead to premature shedding. Having high amounts of protein on a regular basis can extend the anagen growth phase of the hair. Also, post transplant, more protein does help assist quite a bit in wound healing. Daily dosages: Collagen - 12g Hyaluronic Acid - 200mg D3 - 5000 IU MSM - 1000mg Beef Liver capsules - 1500mg Omega 3 (Fish Oil) - 3750mg Pea Protein - 33g NAC - 1200mg Niacin - 500mg
  24. Welcome to the daddy club Melvin! Having met both you and your wife, I can guarantee that you will both be incredible, hands-on parents. Always easier having the boy first in my opinion, as both of my boys are so protective of their little sister. šŸ˜‰
  25. For 3.5 months, it looks amazing bro! Plenty of maturity and growth ahead of you! Follow my Journey with Eugenix and Dr Arika Bansal!
