At 39 (2017) I was turning into a nw 5. i started to use fina (i have always used fina but was not very disciplined), used great amount of topical minoxidil, dermarolling and prp. The results after 10 months was very good but I didn’t recover my temples. i went for an ht at hlc Ankara. 2050 fu, just to lower the hairline and increase the density on the frontal scalp. right after the ht, I added oral minoxidil and Dutasteride meso to the cocktail. i spent hours with doctor Lorenzo Squillace to share researches and decide if oral minoxidil was worth the risk and if duta meso was a real thing or snake oil. at the end, we decided to give them a try… the density I got is almost unmatchable! hope that this post can help other people. here my pics in 2017

2 euro per grafts. they pay a great attention to hairline design and use the minimum amount of grafts possibile. the team is 3 female docs and one man. And their leader, doctora Espinosa, that is a sweet and humble person. they usually don’t work on temples (except the male doctor, I forgot his name). their ig page is very good. i didn’t book with them because the first spot was in April(with dicotoma Espinosa the waiting list is two years) and I didn’t want to get an ht is spring or summer time.

I knew that implanting among preexisting hair is hard because the doctor can demage the preexisting follicles. from what I knew, if the doctor puts a graft on the top of a preexisting hair, the preexisting hair dies (at the best, the preexisting hair is replaced by the new one. At the worst, both hair, the old and the new, will die). Today I read a statement from Bernstein that supports a different theory. He says that placing a graft on the top of another can be aesthetically not pleasing but both the grafts will survive. “The reason to wait until the hair grows in, however, is so that you can better plan the subsequent hair restoration procedure. If two follicular units are placed on top of each other or very close together, you will essentially be creating a mini-graft and the results will not look natural”. is he right?

He worked at medecap. I think that the doctors at MEDECP are great and quite cheap. Give them a look.

Fina before and after ht
duchaine replied to duchaine's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
So, did you think fina could/should be take the day after ht? -
I suppose the question has been done thousands of times but I can’t find any topic on this. Should fina be stopped before ht? if yes, when should fina be reintroduced after the op?

FUECAPILAR Dr Turan 2431 grafs, enhanced recovery test

Did you stop 5ar inibhitors before or after ht? If yes, when did you start reintroducing fina/duta? about topical minoxidil: did you feel any side (irritation, flaking etc) from using minox right after the op? -
I studied hundreds of cases during the last 2 months, especially the hairline design. What I see is...when the doctor design the hairline and it appears flat... the "flat" effect disappears when the hair are grown. Quite the opposite, when the hairline design looks "perfect", the end result is not satisfactory, because, with grown hair, the hairline looks receding. It is like that the grown hair exacerbate the empty space in the temples. What do you think

OLPALEX 3 could be great in these cases.

NW3 | FUE HLC Ankara | 3700 Grafts | June 2023
duchaine replied to CoolngMist's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
For me, the result is very good. I just think that HLC could do the same job with less grafts. -
@omega5 update please

you need to be more context specific

Miko had a very sad story at ASMED. You can't compare his result to yours, because HLC made a great job with you. For sure, you can't compare his tragic story to yours. He went at ASMED, got destroyed there and spent years looking for another surgeon. You booked your second surgery with couto before getting the first one with HLC. After you got your surgery at HLC and despite the fact that you had a great result, your friend messiah started to blame HLC on YouTube. You will agree that all this sounds strange...no? Were you trying to get your second surgery for free? Were you black mailing them?

Top 5 FUE/FUT docs, 2020 edition
duchaine replied to whattheFUE's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
A surgeon should be placed according to his results. If he gets a 9 without miscroscope, he is better than another who gets an average 6 using miscroscope. The thing that he doesn't speak english...sorry my friend, it sounds so stupid that doesn't deserve a reply.
