  1. From my researches about PRP, I think it should be done every 2 weeks. A lower frequency is meaningless
  2. I can see direction is not a problem if the doc uses glasses. About angles it can be a real problem... I quote doc Shapiro "Angle refers to the degree of elevation a hair as it exits the scalp. Direction refers to which way the hair points when leaving the scalp. It is important to pay attention to the changes in both direction and angle of hair positioned around the hairline." If the hair is shaved, how can the cos see the degree of elevation? May 2 mm long hair can be a good way to fix this problem
  3. My question is: if you shave your head, how con the doctor see the angles and the directions of pre-existing hair follicles?
  4. anyway, I'm Italian. So, show some respect for olive oil! lol lol lol
  5. Some people mix coconut oil and castor oil. From what I know, it works!
  6. I use it once per week, after DR. I mix it with olive oil (50% and 50%) for better absorption.
  7. Thanks for your attention Melvin. Pekiner said I'm a Norwood 4. I think I'm closer to N3 than N4. At the moment I can't see any problem expect for temples but I suppose that things can go wrong in the future. Considering I'm 42, what do you think it is a fair number to fix my temples?
  8. Your thread is one of the reasons I choose Pekiner. @Guano I can't say he uses too much double and triple. What I can say is I like a less dense look for my age and I do not love straight lines...I'll ask for a more rounded hairline.
  9. yes, I got good results from medications, but my temples are still bald! I do not like when people put more grafts on one side...totally agree with you!
  10. I attached the pic I sent to Pekiner. It is one of my worst pic ever....I look better in person but I was trying to have a brutal opinion. I attached a pic of me "in real file" situation.. I think my big issue is parietal hair loss. Pekiner designed 2 lines (3000 and 2500 hair grafts) Anyway, I'm worried to add grafts on my sides...I've seen some disasters!
  11. My 2 years results pic is 6 months DR and 14 months PRP...I stopped both for some months before taking pics.
  12. I used DR + castor oil for 6 months and saw great improvements. Then I stopped using DR + castor oil and started a monthly PRP treatment for 14 months and my hairs got worse. At the moment I've stopped PRP and I'm using DR and things are going better (a lot of hair are growing on my scalp!) I can say that DR is way better than PRP.
  13. I've to be honest. My hair situation is good but my "deep temples" destroy my face...So I decided to fix the problem. Considering what I saw here, Pekiner is one of the best for hairline. The best results I saw for hairline were from: Hasson, Couto, De Freitas and Pekiner.
  14. tnx buddy! If you can, see my pics to give an opinion on my starting point!
  15. Tomorrow I should book the flight. I want to stay 3 days in Istanbul (never stay there but some friends of mine told me it is amazing) and then I'll have my head shaved and I'll go to Ankara...
  16. from what I know, Pekiner has only one patient per day! I'll have my transplant 6-7. day 3 (1.8) I'll have medication. So you can ask for January the 8...
  17. I made the same choice of yours. I was going to book with ASMED but when I saw koary's latest results on this board, I choose Pekiner. When will you go to Ankara?
  18. my hairline is not really bad from the front, if sucks from the side. graft suggested Hasson 2500 FUE and 3000 FUT Koray Edrogan 2400-2800 Pekiner 3000 (I do not want to name "low cost" clinic, promising 4000 graft...where should I place all that grafts?!?). I choose Pekiner. I'll have my surgery in January 6th and 7th 2020. I said that IMHO 300 is too much, especially considering I'm 41/42 years old. From what I can see on this board, about 2300/2400 should be more than enough. What do you think?
  19. after my 6 months transformation, I stopped Dermaroller and I lost some hair. after 18 months, I've maintained about 75/80% of my previous gains. Pics below are taken 2 years apart (sep. 2017-sep. 2019), WET hairs. I got a lot of hairs back, but I do not think I can improve my hairline more than that.. So I'm going to have my 2500/3000 UF transplant to improve my temples (I think 2500/3000 is too much, but all the best surgeons said I need that quantity of hairs). Considering the results I saw on this board, I choose Kaan Pekiner.
  20. This is my 6 months transformation (sep. 2017-march 2018) minoxidil 5%, 6 ml 1 time daily finasteride 1 mg/die 2 PRP shot (sept. oct) locoidon 1 ml 5 times weekly tretinoine all over my face 1 time daily nizoral shampoo 2 times weekly Dermaroller + cator oil 1 time weekly
